Cooper has made a ton of money in his career. He knows his body and he knows his situation related to this year and a future contract. He’s going to make the best decision for him, and I can’t blame him. He’s a smart guy; he’s doing what he thinks is in his best interest.

In a way, yes. He’s a free agent next year. The Bills are unlikely to sign him. So he has a lot of personal incentive to not further injure himself or be at less than his capability because it will cost him in his next contract. As it is, his value is declining.

First Phillips and Jefferson become available, and now Dodson. Clearly the NFL is conspiring to have the Bills win the Super Bowl. The rest of the plan is to have the Bills lose to the Chiefs next week, setting the stage for the Bills to beat the Texans, Ravens and Chiefs in the playoffs, and then beating the Panthers in the Super Bowl (NFL is still working on that last part).
