That would be......FAIL. Hubbs' Facebook page says that she lives in Livermore with her dentist husband and has been married for 20 years. She wrote that she has three “beautiful kids” aged 13, 10, and 8.
-
ummmm...maybe not so much.... The Contra Costa Times reports that in a separate case, Hubbs is being charged with four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one count of discharge of a BB gun. On June 29, police say a bicyclist reported being shot by an Airsoft projectile by boys from Hubbs’ black Hummer. The boys admitted to the shooting but said that Hubbs bought the guns for them and didn’t try to stop them, the Contra Costa Times reports. KPIX reports that those boys were 10 years old.

Ha! I'm 51, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's never take on any woman that's just banged a 16 year old 100 times.

Well stated and I agree it's time to appreciate what we have. For all the pissing and moaning about the line, the QBs, the front office, etc., there will be exponentially more whining if this team is ever taken from us. Only 32 cities have NFL teams, and Buffalo is one of them, thankfully! Enjoy it while you can! We now return you to your thread, already in progress......... -
I'm sad and a bit disappointed it hasn't been said yet, so I'll say it: It's hard to name a starting QB in the NFL. But we really, really like the guys we have. They work hard. They play hard. They study hard. Did I mention we really like them?

Better odds: Poz making it through the season injury-free, or the Bills winning the Super Bowl? WE'RE GOIN' TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!!!!

I think for me, it's my connection to my Dad. He died when I was 16 (I'm 51 now), and my memories of him are closely tied to the Bills. As a little guy, I'd be out playing and come running in the house to ask what the score was and whether we were wearing white or dark (it was black and white TV in those days). I started following them on my own in 1968, and going to games with him in War Memorial are very fond memories. In 1970, he sprang for the most expensive tickets, 3 of them at $7 each under the roof. I looked at them every day pinned on the board in the kitchen. When game day came, my Dad took me for a walk and said he couldn't go because he was having chest pains. I was so disappointed and ended up having to go with my mother and my sister. It was horrible....drunks spilled wine on me, burned cigarette holes in our blanket, and OJ got his knee torn up on a kickoff return and was lost for the season. The Bills got trashed by the Bengals. But it never made me lose faith in the team, because it was a big connection to my Dad. When I lost him, I kept following the Bills, even after moving to Syracuse and having to listen to the games on a staticy radio feed of the games from Rochester. Bills games usually weren't televised in Syracuse back in the mid-80s, and that's probably a good thing! But I kept following them, and ended up going to the last Super Bowl to see them lose yet again. But no matter, I'll always be a Bills fan and always think of my Dad with every game!

Blue throwbacks will be worn twice

QUOTE (The Big Cat @ Jul 22 2010, 01:21 PM) * I'm leaning more and more toward a #22 jersey... I think he was #24, but you got the right idea! I prefer to go with classic players (my white throwback is #15 Jack Kemp)....they will never go out of favor, unless they lop their ex-wife's head off. -
Will do - looks like it'll be the first week of October. This weekend, I'm taking my girlfriend to NYC for two Natalie Merchant shows at Town Hall. Natalie is her favorite. I always liked 10,000 Maniacs, so it should be a good weekend.

"You need to be a smart spender and like I said before Ralph hasn't always been a wise spender. Cut the man some slack though and stop calling him cheap because that is false." Agreed. Let's stop calling him cheap..........and let's start calling him dumb. I'll go start the "Ralph is dumb" thread....be right back....

Seems to have settled (for today) on the Fairmont Southampton and Jet Blue for the flight. Weird that the package deals on Jet Blue and the usual travel sites really aren't any cheaper than getting the flight and hotel separately. I know the package deals include all taxes, but even adding those to the room rate, it's still cheaper to do it separate. Odd.....

Bought tix & flight for the home opener

I let my season tickets expire this year....I switched cars with my daughter (she attends Canisius College) and what I'm driving now isn't going to get me back and forth to Buffalo from Syracuse all season. But I did pick up a couple pair of tickets for the opener....Section 115 and 124, the latter very close to my season tiks in Section 126. Was surprised there was a good selection for pairs of tickets, but there were not any sets of 4 together in the lower bowl. Am much more excited about the season with those babies in hand! -
Jet Blue and Tripadvisor....I'm on them! Thanks for the suggestions.

Yeah, my daughter really focused in on the Fairmont Southampton. I told her I was going to keep looking, but she's already got her mind set on that place! As far as I can tell, there's nothing under $200/night that won't creep her out, and she's not a princess either. She's a lacrosse player, but she won't handle bugs or dirty rooms. It's going to be hard to convince her to stay anywhere else, I'm afraid! The southern shore seems pretty nice, but then, isn't all of Bermuda "pretty nice"?
-
Thanks BB - we plan to!

I can hear my daughter's response now: "What, are you out of your mind??" My reply: "No, but Hossage is!" Does look pretty cool though.....maybe I'll ditch her and go alone.....
