  1. Aren't you being racist by referencing racism yourself?
  2. So, your outrage is because you got dinged and he didn't? Wow, that is even richer than feigning outrage over the racial injustice of it all. Good job.
  3. I thought this quote was interesting "What McDermott and Beane are interested in is putting together a team construct that leaves no one wondering how hard the man next to him is going to work during the practice week. There will be no doubt that each and every one of the 11 players on the field know their assignment on every single snap. And that when the team is dealt a bad hand on or off the field, they won't fold." http://m.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Roster-turnover-a-necessary-part-of-McDermotts-process/7c778037-3904-4090-aa63-f4e4126c0165 Maybe it's just a case of certain players don't have the dedication and commitment that the new regime is trying to instill, and even though they may be talented, it's not worth compromising the integrity of what they are trying to do. So, poof, they are gone. I'm good with that and since they were going nowhere special this year anyway, I'm fine with letting it play out.
  4. Are we allowed to read her columns if she's critical of the Bills? I feel so conflicted......
  5. Kim Pegula showing up in one of GBID's "Hot for NFL Owner" threads
  6. I was at camp on Friday and walked right by Dareus. Literally two feet away. He was hugging a woman in a wheelchair while a friend took a photo. He had just left the field with a trainer. The woman said he looked like he lost weight, and he told her he lost 12 pounds. I'm nobody, but to me he looked like he was carrying his 290 or 300 pounds pretty damn well. He looked great to me. In other news, Kim Pegula is way more lovely in person. Very attractive woman in all respects.
  7. ......at the junction - Petticoat Junction! (sorry, I'm old and that stuck in my head when I saw your name!)
  8. And there's Uncle Joe - he's movin' kind of slow......
  9. Great story and thanks for sharing it. I read the race references as just context for how special this experience was for you, since the news is filled with stories of the opposite experience. It's the internet; no matter how positive the story is, someone will twist it into their own narrative and blame you. Ignore it. Peace
  10. You must have been pooped at the end of the day
  11. Does no one get sarcasm anymore??
  12. How many of them were told to "trust the process" as they were being shown out the door?
  13. Dude, the money you pay for Bills games is other-worldly. Just give me one-quarter of that amount each year and I'll kick you in the nuts 16 times. Deal?
  14. Awesome poem. You should set it to music.
  15. Sounds like the story of my love life.
  16. They lost me a long time ago. I haven't been excited about this team in forever. If it weren't for TBD, which I read mostly for the sarcasm, I wouldn't know anything about the Bills. And I have a pretty long resume as a fan; including a trip to the last Super Bowl. Every year I care less however. Thank God the Bills have the most loyal, alcoholic, immature and sarcastic fan base there is! Love you guys!
  17. Crayonz? That you?
  18. "We're Looking at You, 2018 NFL Draft"
  19. This is the brother of a friend of mine. I heard an interview with him on the Bob and Tom Show this morning. It was his fifth attempt at this. It sounded like they were 5 separate events. He said he used 8 of his own balls and the others were off the rack. He works at the alley he did the stunt at. He said if he had to try again, he would go from lane 10 to lane 8 instead of going all the way back to lane 1. He bowled his first 300 game at 20 yrs old. He admitted it was a stunt and not a real "game". Sounded like a pretty cool guy.
  20. Sadly, Earthquake Enyart passed in 2015
  21. Saw him at Melody Fair when I was a kid. I still remember how hilarious he was, especially when sparring with people in the crowd. Extremely quick wit. He could slice and dice you to pieces before you knew what hit you. RIP
