Any finger gun TD celebrations will get you taken out by the Secret Service. Must be a nightmare getting the President in there.

Nothing fun about this game. At all. I did put $50 on Chiefs to win; may as well get $50 profit for watching them win.

Full List of Bills' Current Selections in 2025 NFL Draft
WotAGuy replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
This thread would be a lot better if we knew what the actual selections will be so we can start beeotching about them. -
Very sad news; especially given his “young” age and reports about his wife’s dementia. May he rest in peace, sounds like he earned it.

It’s all a PR stunt. The agents/advertisers financially support the shows and need ratings, so they create these issues to make noise and keep obsessive fans engaged. It feels Oscar-esque. NFL=WWE now.

More man 2 man? Finally we get Elam on the field full time!!! -
KC has really been playing great, but so has Philly. I’ll be hoping for a Philly beat down but putting $ on the Chiefs.

There may be some misplaced priorities; but some of us have deep ties to loved ones that involve the Bills, and have life-long passions for the team and have been through decades of ups and downs. Just because people are expressing anxiousness over a really important game doesn’t necessarily mean priorities are misplaced. If you’ve been on this board as long as you have you should understand this. -

Thanks for this thread. Been trying to cope with the feelings today. Mixture of anxiousness and subtle confidence. It’s been a difficult 9 months - lost my dog of 14 years in the spring and over the past three months lost my MIL, my best friend, and my mentor/father figure (just this week). I’ve been better able to deal with those 4 losses than I am the feelings about this game. @YoloinOhio said it best for me; trying to consider all outcomes and be ok with them all. I will say I hope it’s a blowout one way or the other; not sure I can handle a down to the wire ending right now. -

How much time have you spent thinking about this game.
WotAGuy replied to Stroke 17's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Ravens game I was very anxious and really thought about waiting until the final score to decide whether to watch it on DVR. The second half was super tense. The Andrews fumble and dropped pass were so surprising and out of character for the Bills to get, I was glad I watched live. This week, I’ve had far more confidence in a win, but as today has worn on I’m getting more anxious. Tomorrow will be a long day. Hope the Commanders get a big upset to keep me occupied. -

Given the Sabres issues, and the finances related to the new stadium and part-owners, I think Pegula will stick with McDermott as long as the Bills are having success. The fact that there is an all-time-level dynasty in their way buys further patience. -
But that’s what happened when you are up against a franchise with a HOF coach, GM, QB, DT, TE and maybe more. The Bills have one (1) HOF player. The supporting players and admin are excellent but not HOF quality.
