  1. I thought this was the guy that, after delivering the forecast, they pan out and he’s actually in a dunk tank while the sports anchor throws the ball and dunks him.
  2. In 1974 the Bills played the Steelers in the playoffs. In 1980-1981 the Bills were in the playoffs and if Ferguson hadn’t gotten injured, they had a shot. In 1999-2000 the Bills were in the playoffs, including the Music City Miracle. Any playoff appearance is a Super Bowl window!
  3. Ah! Had this version of MNF where you select an offensive play and the opponent selects a defensive play and it lit up the play result on a little grid underneath the field. You could select plays from cards emphasizing the running game, passing game and special teams. The play result was pretty true to reality; if you threw a bomb and the defense was a blitz, you got wrecked. This game was the beginning and end of my football strategy knowledge. 🤣🤣 https://www.ebay.com/itm/374344215318?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=F1cZAkDAT1a&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  4. Excellent list! And I hear that @WotAGuy is hung like a horse.
  5. Just to pile on…I get the perspective of needing a championship to be satisfied and feel that way too. The Bills have only had a Super Bowl window 5 times in my lifetime and I would love to see them win one. But I also don’t want to not appreciate what a special player Allen is and how lucky we are to have him on the Bills. It’s hard to believe this is his 7th season already and I am really enjoying seeing him play every week. So I don’t want to lose sight of that and try to enjoy every game he plays, win or lose.
  6. I was trying to remember where I was able to order the specific team sets. In 1970, my father bought three tickets to the Bills - Cincy game; this was the first time we had ever gotten sideline seats AND under the roof to boot! They were $7.50 each and I couldn’t believe he spent that much on them. He worked at DuPont and didn’t make much, but he loved the Bills.
  7. I mentioned the Tudor vibrating football game in another thread and it got my reminiscing about toys I got for Christmas as a kid in the 60s. That football game got a lot of use; I would listen to Bills games on the radio and line the players up according to the Bills game progress. Another was the Johnny 7 OMA. That thing had every kind of gun you could imagine - rifle, handgun, grenade launcher….it only took about a month to lose all the ammo. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Seven_OMA The rod hockey game was a blast too. You could develop the coordination to run some specific plays and they would be hard to stop. https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-1988448/franklin-rod-hockey.jsp?prdPV=2 My wife bought a vintage Rebound game a few years ago, and my grandkids love to play it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/256053364130?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=irvPI7KdQ5O&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  8. The best part was ordering your choice of team uniforms. I had Bills blue and Dallas white.
  9. This is BS. Where is the documentary about the vibrating football game I grew up with? You punks have no idea how difficult it was to throw a pass with that spring arm and felt football. GTFOH. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1813685203/tudor-games-electric-football-9072?gpla=1&gao=1&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_us_-toys_and_games&utm_custom1=_k_EAIaIQobChMI-4ft66z6iQMVz2hHAR3wTSr5EAQYByABEgJ4FvD_BwE_k_&utm_content=go_21500569338_164907277163_707558291657_pla-314535279060_m__1813685203_584767358&utm_custom2=21500569338&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADtcfRK-mup5jo_kqLja-2PSuFxZG&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-4ft66z6iQMVz2hHAR3wTSr5EAQYByABEgJ4FvD_BwE
  10. “In his mugshot, he had several scribbles across his face. It is not clear as to why this was the case.” I’ll take “Batshlt Crazy” for $200 Alex….
  11. Exactly. My butt is like the golden goose of football opinion. I can speak with certainty about things I know nothing about.
  12. I’m tempted to go Eagles, Tampa, Chargers and Saints. So you’ll want to avoid those given my recent track record.
  13. Your neighbor is Patrick Mahomes?
  14. I was just joking around, but the Lions play on turkey day, so it’s available if needed.
  15. Eff that. I’ve already booked the Super 8 in downtown Detroit for Saturday through Thursday. YOLO
  16. Detroit is at home this week. Maybe flex to Monday night? Haven’t had a Tuesday game in a couple years….
  17. Ahhh…..but he was pointing it in the air. Safety first!
  18. Patrick Mahomes says Pew! Pew!
  19. Ironic that everyone was worried about Mahomes being hung, and what does he do? Goes around shooting at people.
  20. Hard to call any division game a trap game. All I know is my risk-aversion, so even though Washington is favored by 10.5, I bumped it down to 7 because I feel like division games are more unpredictable. 🤣
  21. The Bears-Vikes game I couldn’t pull the trigger on. Have no idea who will show up and who will crap the bed Hope not, though I would feel better if the game was in Dallas. I had one good week when the Bills beat Tennessee and the Commanders beat Carolina. Made $700 profit that day but been pretty dry since.
  22. Haven’t seen any of these lately. Everyone broke? Going in for Lions, Texans and Commanders, but at lower spreads than listed.
  23. I can kind of accept the vitriol in the context of a sports rivalry; unfortunately it isn’t limited to that and is all too familiar outside sports into everyday life.
  24. Didn’t that start during Covid when they would have cameras and monitors in the end zone so the players could see themselves? I have a memory of that whole thing happening during Covid.
  25. If I can’t do my “Pew! Pew!” dance after TDs, because some disadvantaged group was killed by actual Pew Pews, I’m done with the NFL.
