  1. At least you would hear minutiae about: - Christmas tree cultivars - Christmas foods originating from aboriginal tribes - How Santa’s sleigh could never really traverse the world in one evening - The expert way to clean a chimney - How LED lights are made and what manufacturing techniques are preferable - Basically expert opinion about every goddamn thing you can imagine.
  2. My ChatGPT summary doesn’t mention anything about any of that nonsense: A small airplane, cruising at a moderate altitude, suddenly experienced a catastrophic engine failure when a vital fuel line ruptured. The pilot initially attempted to troubleshoot the issue, switching to the reserve fuel tank and attempting to restart the engine, but the damage was too severe. With no power and a rapid loss of altitude, the pilot declared an emergency, but the descent was too steep for a controlled landing. Despite efforts to steer toward an open field, the plane struck the treeline, breaking apart on impact. The cause of the failure was later traced to a manufacturing defect in the fuel line, which had gone undetected during routine maintenance checks.
  3. This is the week Josh throws for 6 TDs to eliminate Lamar from MVP consideration.
  4. I’ve done this to myself many times. It’s no big deal.
  5. I read Josh was running 16 MPH to his left when he hit Cook in stride running at least as fast in the opposite direction. Phenomenal throw that even he probably couldn’t do twice in a row.
  6. Rapp. He has been a savior back there, making big hits and plays all year. And he’s stopped hurting teammates too!
  7. I imagine his agent can make it known there are only certain teams he will sign with at this stage in the season.
  8. “ Make it so!”
  9. Didn’t he get a 3-year deal? Wonder if they will keep him or let him go. It seems like he is a poor fit for what they are doing because when he does get a target, it’s seldom downfield.
  10. What?? No one banging the table for red jersey and blue pants? You guys are slipping.
  11. Chris Brown was livid about this during the morning show on GR.
  12. Not sure what you mean by this, but I do think the defensive philosophy was to make Detroit work for their yards and avoid big plays. Other than St Brown’s long one, which was actually a pretty lucky play that it didn’t get tipped, the Bills made Detroit work for their scores. Meanwhile, Allen was eviscerating the Detroit D quickly and efficiently. Detroit burned so much clock on their final drive, which played into the Bills’ hands. Both defenses had depleted rosters but Buffalo was able to hold Detroit off early in the game and that was the difference.
  13. True fan; recognized an end-of-roster player in the wild. Even if he was wearing his jersey, I still wouldn't know if it was actually him or not.
  14. I’ll get right on it!
  15. I think the issue is the 3rd QB needs to be on the active roster, but would not count toward your “active” players on game day. While you do not have to count the 3rd QB on game day, you do have to count them as a regular roster player during the week. Most teams feel having an additional position player count toward the 53 outweighs the threat of needing a third QB as part of their 53.
  16. Curious about your decision, if you are inclined to share. Was it simply out of your financial comfort range, or has attending games reached the point where the value for the money just isn’t there? If I still had season tickets, I would not be putting that much money into it, especially with the open-ended escalating ticket cost each year after I’ve cemented myself with a PSL. As it is, coming into town to attend games is no longer as enjoyable now that I’m in my 60s and standing all game long is a killer on my aching back, knees, and basically every joint in my body.
  17. OP is obviously oblivious to the Detroit-Michigan showdown in women’s college basketball. Detroit down 27 but poised for epic comeback….unless Michigan has a bunch of dudes on their team.
  18. Tommy? Is that you? How’s Ellen and the kids? Thanks for checking in Frank!
  19. “Like driving a VW Beetle into Carlsbad Caverns….”
  20. I thought Belinda was Jerry Sullivan’s side piece.
  21. Montana is the closest as far as clutch. Brady as well, but Montana and Mahomes have the signature clutch wins.
  22. The sportsbooks made a killing last night.
