Crazy that they bumped the Bills into the window for a meaningless game.
In Syracuse, we used to call into the station and vote for the game we wanted to see.
Or maybe I’m just remembering calling and bltching out the station manager for not showing the Bills.
Maye threw an INT in the end zone, Stephenson fumbled in Bills territory and Stephenson gave the Bills a TD from his own 10. There’s 14-17 points the Pats literally handed the Bills after leading at halftime. The Pats were outplaying the Bills at that point and would have beaten them like Mac did last year.
Also, based on my research into his social media posts, if he was corn, he would be creamed corn, and he’s intelligent, devoted, loyal, selfless and a bright light to all around him.
Tough spot for the Pats to be in. Definitely looking at that first draft pick, but having to say all the right things to not make it look obvious they are throwing the game.
They would have beaten the Bills a couple weeks ago if they hadn’t imploded with turnovers. Now, they are playing against Buffalo’s backups and will need to put the ball on the ground a few more times to get the loss they badly want.
Outside of the games today, and the Lions’ game Sunday, this game has some interesting aspects and I’m looking forward to how it plays out.
I’ll be happy with a Bills win and happy with a Pats win. Truly a win-win situation.
That Round 4 from the Bears for last year’s 5th could be similarly flipped into a 3 in 2026, then a 2 in 2027, and a 1 in 2028. Boom, we draft Josh Allen Jr.
You can’t tell me the Bills’ turnover record this year is “a plan”. Every team has that same “plan”. The fact Allen is the only player with a turnover and the defense is getting so many is a LOT of luck. They are making the most of their opportunities and that’s due to good coaching and execution. But the turnover advantage is a lot of luck or else they would have the same turnover record every year.
There’s a lot of luck involved, and if this D doesn’t lead in turnovers, it’s toast. Then we’re back to Josh being Superman every drive.
They need major improvements in personnel on the D-line and LB.
I wonder if, when guys are held out of the final game that they had a big incentive riding on, the teams do like the sportsbooks and offer 20-40% of the incentive and cut their losses?
