  1. I have a little piece of turf sealed in plastic form sometime in the early 90's. I saw a hot dog sign in the dumpster on the way out of a game and was gonna snag it. The Bills had switched brands of dogs. I decided I didn't feel like carrying it all the way back to the van. Kinda wish I had.
  2. Cool, I see the food bank actually got some soup out of this deal. Dented soup tastes just like soup in perfect cans.
  3. Uh, been here long? I think that idea has already been put into place
  4. "Paints with a hair plucked from a house fly's back"
  5. I got some clothes and a belt, but who cares, I bought myself a Wii by proxy, "for the kids", and that has been a blast.
  6. Bingo. This season has left me thinking, "Just how good is Brady?" How many other QB's could they plug in and get a similar result?
  7. Exactly what I was thinking. Every person is free to buy a tube of the Icing or gel, and as long as you possess the ability to write you can put whatever name you choose on your cake. There is a freedom of expression, and the cake decorator chose to exercize it as well. When I was in radio, there were spots I refused to cut because I didn't want my voice associated with a certain business or product. It didn't keep them off the air.
  8. What about a sign, "Please forgive the noise, true Buffalo fans are here"?
  9. Crap, beat me to it.
  10. I'll watch it. Dominate my Sunday is a little strong at this point. I may actually walk to the kitchen or bathroom during live action. Usually I would pee my pants rather than miss a snap. This year it may just spare me some agony.
  11. Can we add "I just absolutely don't care at this point" as an option? That's me.
  12. "Springfield, Springfield, it's a hell of a town" I did my student teaching there
  13. One subtle little line that really made me laugh was Kramer, when greeted with a "How do you do?" "Oh, I do just fine." Another was when George got the ladies glasses and Kramer called him Madam
  14. Woulda Coulda Shoulda Didn't
  15. Every time they give the in house announcement about informing security if anyone is disrupting your ability enjoy the game, I start naming several Bills coaches and players out loud, but security never looks into it.
  16. What about a full stadium where everybody remains standing after the national anthem, and turns their backs to the game? Stay as long as you like, just don't watch the game.
  17. I think Ralph is trying to do us a favor, and make the team suck so bad that we are relieved when they leave Buffalo.
  18. I wouldn't call what I was doing today cheering exactly, but at least I was excited about the game, and still preferred Buffalo over Miami.
  19. BULL S**T The Team stunk up the field against Cleveland, and the crowd was in it almost the entire game.
  20. I wanted to puke when the commentators talked about a great crowd, and a great game. The crowd sucked The game sucked
  21. If the Bills never existed period, I probably never would have started watching NFL football. If they ceased to exist now, I would take a couple of years off to recover, and observe the league to see which squad could cause me the most agony on a week to week basis. Pretending they don't exist is sounding like a better option all of the time.
  22. The current Bills are not a cold weather team, but I would say they would have a slight edge over Miami in that regard. I do think the wind would have given Pennington fits. The thing that made me sick is that the crowd seemed to favor the freekin' fish. But you know what, the Bills got a crowd that gave them the type of effort they have been laying out. There was more noise in my living room than that stadium. The crowd in Buffalo was certainly more passionate about the Cleveland game than the team was.
  23. Sorry to hear the bad news.
  24. This is what floors me. If I were to go into the store tomorrow and put in a emotionless, half baked effort, just collecting checks as possible sales walked out, I would deservedly be disciplined, but for professional athletes it is different. The effort (or lack there of) put in by this team today was an embarassment.
