40 shows of the same band? Why so many? Did you forget that you went? J/K

Quote worthy! Freakin' awesome post!!!! Might have to change my screen name now to..."Omega 13"

That's a really good point, OP. There is a lot of talent that we would not have acquired were it not for that melt down. It still hurts, but you've def found a huge silver lining and it does take a bit of the sting out of it. This team is ready to roll this season from a talent perspective. Hopefully the coaches have learned a lot as well and up their game.

Because of a coin toss. Also, because coaching left the gate of the de"fence" open in the last 13 seconds. If only there were 10 seconds left instead of 13...oh well. Still a sore subject. Although, if we had to not make the big game I'd rather have lost to the Chiefs instead of the Bengals. Could you imaging if we had lost at home to the Bengals? The Bengals!! Dear Lord, the horror! Glad it happened to the Chiefs though. :-)

For those of us that got stuck watching the ABC broadcast (I know there are a few of us) we had sit through a segment about dancing...yes, DANCING while the Bills picked! ......

I would take Payton over McD if McD doesn't show game management progress next year. Yes, a small upgrade makes a big difference. Love what McD has done to the "culture" here, but this past season/offseason has raised some eyebrows. I know there are only rumors, but it seems some players and coaches have clashed with him. Players and coaches have wanted out on a team with huge upside, that says something. The NFL is a business, and there is no reason why anyone should be "safe". If McD can't deliver, get someone who can. It's that simple. I don't care how close he is to ultimate success. Players have to prove it, so do coaches. Don't get too attached to a coach.

Yeah, saw a segment about him on a show around 10 years ago, never forgot his name after seeing it. Was pretty funny. -

Cool topic, OP! For me, I'm 47. I started learning about football and watching in my teens. I didn't attach fandom to any team at that point. I remember watching some games the year before the SB runs with a buddy of mine. The Bills were exciting and electrifying. I remember my buddy saying, "this is a good team, they're good". I started focusing on them more. What really hooked me was the greatest comeback in NFL history. The never give up attitude those Bills' team had, that underdog mentality, the hard working pick yourself back up and dust yourself off aspect of the the team hooked me. I've been a loyal fan ever since. I'm from RI, so not someone that is homegrown. The fans of Buffalo, how the players at first snub the city only to embrace it, it's special and even though I'm not a Buffalonian, I'm proud to be a part of the the mafia. The fans have been just as much of a motivating factor for me to remain loyal and love my Bills as the myriad of players that have come and gone throughout the years. Thank you to all of my fellow mafiosos!

Tyreek seeking a trade [Now: Traded to the Dolphins]

Maybe he's nervous Beane will snap him up with all of the big signings lately?? -
I thought this was a great vid. Thanks for posting OP. I also don't think he was in a sign and GTFO mode. I think he was taking it all in and observing and analyzing what he would be getting into. He may live in a different world from the rest of us, but his world has just been uprooted. I'm sure it's a big move for him and I'm sure he's done a lot of thinking as to whether or not he's made the right choice. It's still a life changing moment for him. Just from that clip, I'm super excited and glad he is now a Bill. He is the real deal. Go Bills!!

How bad is it for Lesile Frazier?
phypon replied to Marvlevydraftdaygenius's topic in The Stadium Wall
You make a very valid point and I do understand your stance and what you are saying. I'm not trying to argue with you at all here, just want to say that upfront. I do think there are two different views on this topic. I'm in the camp where I've been skeptical of our D and I don't have confidence in the product that has been what we've seen over the last few years. I don't look at it from a stats perspective in terms of DOVA and I think there are many posters here that feel the same way. I'm open to seeing a change at DC, one with a different philosophy than we currently run on D. Could it be worse, yup, it definitely could. It could also be better. At this point, I think the D has peaked and we've seen the best we are going to with the current D. I also think there is room for improvement and that the current philosophy of the D will not get us to where we want to be. The only thing I would say that other posters have pointed out is that it's not just a sample size against KC. It's a sample size against contenders as opposed to lesser quality teams, coaches, and QB's. I think that is the point other posters are trying to make. -

I'm really not trying to get into anything here. But (yes, there is a but), this kind of proves why those stats don't really mean anything. You play your best ball at the end of the season. If you can't come through when it matters, what good is being the #1 defense. I'd rather be the worst defense all season but be the #1 defense in the playoffs and SB. I think that's really the point most posters are trying to convey when it comes to the #1 rated defense stuff. -
