Well, I'm sure I'm tougher than you, but whatever there. So I take it you don't want to let strangers into your home? I think that's why you are deflecting and trying to change the subject, no?
-
I don't think you are an American.
-
Please post your address so we can pass it along to immigrants that need a place to sleep for a month or two. I'm sure you will welcome them into your home with open arms. You will, right? Don't be a hypocrite...

Who or what is "we"?

What do you get out of that quote?

Ok, let's make this easy for you to understand. If you are a native American, you need to provide documentation. If you were born in one state and reside in another and want to register to vote, you have to have documentation (native American or not). How are you getting into college in another state without any form of documentation? Without any record of attending any school? Have you ever heard of the US postal service or fax machines or email? Everything is documented and stored, it's called a "database" and everyone has a file on record, since the 1950's. If you are not on record or have appropriate documentation to show that you are a citizen, then you are probably not a citizen. It's not that difficult to prove you are a citizen. There are records of what hospital you were born in. I get it, you are okay with non-citizens voting. Just say it. Because right now, you look really, really stupid.

I'm still not sure you're understanding voter registration. If you are already registered to vote in AZ and that's where you are going to vote, why would you register to vote in another state? The laws are setup to prevent multiple votes in different locations. And, we're talking about proof of citizenship in the first place here. So, your example is a non sequitur to begin with. Bottom line, are you okay with non citizens voting in our elections? That's the question. I'm not okay with that. If you lose your "cards", you are still in the system and can get your "cards" to prove you are a citizen. Do you think it's that easy to erase your identity and go off grid?

You know what. I don't think I like you. Why do you have to follow up with a good answer? If we agree on more things we're going to break PPP. Knock it off!! I do agree with you. This correspondence did arrive from a point Roundy was trying to make and I made a counterpoint. I think you made my point. Just scroll up and I think you will see what I was getting at. I appreciate your point of view. I think at a certain point we just need to have our own conviction and not flip flop based on what someone else (news outlets) try to sway us on. So, again, I appreciate your stance on this topic.

It was only a few weeks ago that the pro Palestinian protesters were part of the party. Now they have been ostracized. Did you forget? Do you support the Palestinian protesters or not? Seriously, do you support the or not? Please give an honest answer.

"Free, Free Palestine"!

You need a SSN to get a job and a credit card (at least you did 20 years ago). So you are saying that this woman never had a W2 or credit card her entire life, never took out a loan or car loan and paid for everything in cash and paid her taxes even though she had no reported income? Yes, I'm sure she got paid in cash her entire life and reported her income to the IRS because even though for some odd reason she doesn't have proof of citizenship she is a fine upstanding American citizen that pays her taxes and reports all of her cash income to the IRS. How's that spectrum looking now? Wake up. That article is BS and advocating for people that don't have proof of citizenship to vote in OUR elections, well, you're just way off base here. Can I vote for what you and your wife and children have for dinner tomorrow night? Maybe I will be the tie breaker vote. I vote for tacos and a sci-fi movie. ETA: If you're not a citizen of this country, you're not voting.
-
Don't see a date on this article. I'm sure there are MILLIONS more than that (you know, the border and all) that don't have proof of citizenship. So basically, you don't care if someone has proof of citizenship, everyone standing on the ground in this country (or overseas with a mail in ballot) should be able to vote in the elections. And you are fine with that? ETA: Also, the woman in the link you provided is 62 years old. Are you telling me that she only just now found out she needs to prove that she's a US citizen? And that photo was from 2014. How did she make it all these years? Can't imagine the back taxes she's going to owe. How did she get a job her entire life? C'mon man, stop being stupid.

If you're okay with not requiring proof of citizenship in order to vote in US elections I would submit that YOU are the fascist. You distinctively used the word "unfortunately", so I'm sure if you are okay with this. If you are okay with this, why are you supportive of non-citizens voting in our elections?
-
Who needs proof of citizenship? I don't give a chit what "party" you affiliate with, if you're not a US citizen you can't vote. So you're saying that if you don't have a birth certificate or proof of citizenship you should be able to vote in this country? "The law required Arizonans to show “documentary proof” of their citizenship before registering to vote." Yeah, who needs proof? "The form asks voters to swear they are citizens under penalty of perjury, but it doesn’t require them to submit proof." Me thinks you are a bit on the lower end of the spectrum now...commie.

Yes, I think we should have 200 SCOTUS justices! Viva la SC!!
-
How many service members, students, and "native Americans" don't have birth certificates? Can you join the military without a birth certificate? Should you vote if you don't have a birth certificate? There are billions of people throughout the world that don't have American birth certificates. Should they be allowed to vote in US elections? Do tell...

Imagine if Don Lemon interviewed people in NJ and asked who they were voting for and why. What do you think the results would be?

Can we admit Trump is cognitively impaired?
phypon replied to Joe Ferguson forever's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Hmmm....why do I get the feeling you're not going to vote for Donald Trump? -
That is a pretty good timezone for football. Especially the dreaded 4:00pm ET games. Hate those!
