  1. Terrible interception but man, AWESOME comments!
  2. All your base are belong to me! (nice headline)
  3. Ha, saw this today too (on prisonplanet). If it's true that nearly 1/3 of Americans are okay with this all I can do is slap my forehead...hard.
  4. Great post and great points! Couldn't agree with you more. Also, glad you backed up what you said with players and draft position. I think the reason why so many people don't like the idea of tanking is that we live in an instant gratification type of society. People today seem incapable of seeing down the road. When someone has your position you are told that you are not a fan. However, you are a fan. You are looking out for the best interest of the team, you're just looking a bit further down the road (and not that much further). Logic dictates that at this point in the season, the way the team is playing, there really is no hope of a playoff appearance. Nothing can be gained by winning meaningless games right now. Let's say they do win some games, if the staff gets fired anyway, all that "winning to promote a winning attitude" goes out the window. With a new staff a new air surrounds the team. That's the point of changing a staff in the first place, so that you can start from zero and not from a "negative realm". I guess I'm rambling now, but well said and great post!
  5. The answer, outside of "23", is absolutely not. And you should know better by now. Good God, man!
  6. Except if he did that he would have probably been hit with a personal foul penalty for a late hit after the whistle. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
  7. I get the feeling that you don't realize that Potter is a kicker on the Bills football team. Hence his post is not only about football but also about Bills football.
  8. Oh they wrap up alright...GIFT WRAP games for opposing offenses!
  9. Damn! Chan is predictible. Trying to find the Chan presser now. I don't see it on wgr yet. Anyone have a link?
  10. Just to clarify my first post was my prediction of the conference. I'm listening to Fitz now. Don't want to mislead anyone if my first post wasn't clear.
  11. Fitz: "this one's on me. We have to play better. I shouldn't have thrown that one. we'll have to check the film and get better..." Chan: "it's my responsibility. I have to figure it out and correct it. Fitz is fine, defense is fine. I don't have info on injuries...we have to check the film..." Did I miss anything?
  12. Holy crap guy, take it easy. That's what this board is for. If everyone relied on the google or shout box the forum wouldn't be neccessary and not here...and that would stink.
  13. Cut him and sign another kicker
  14. I'm not dwelling on anything. Actually, you're the one that keeps refusing to acknowledge what I've written in my posts. Not only that, my posts contain YOUR words...verbatim. How about this, instead of trying to be a douche and lash out at other posters (when you actually agree with them) think before you write something. The reason why I'm posting what I'm posting is because you came off as a smart ass in a bully type manner. I find it funny that once you were called out all you could do was back peddle and try to change the point that I made. No one likes a smart ass or a bully. So do yourself a favor and a know when you are wrong or do something wrong and admit it. I already know my post will go over your head because you are not capable of admitting a mistake. I can also tell you are the type that needs to have the last word, so have at it. Or, if you are a solid human being, think about what I said. I'm not trying to come off as mean or nasty. Just pointing out that you didn't make yourself look to upfront with the post I quoted.
  15. Reid being a "joke" has nothing to do with my point. You know this. My point is that you agreed with the poster you tried to lambast about him not being the guy that is going to win super bowls. What's clear is that you think Reid has "trouble taking their teams to the summit." But hey, if you want to back track that's up to you
  16. Actually, he said (note the use of the FULL quote and not pieces being taken out of context): "I'm wit you Nucci!! Dude is a joke and is the major reason the eagles can't get over the hump!!" I'm going to highlight this part of his post: Dude is a joke and is the major reason the eagles can't get over the hump!!" Meaning that he is the reason they are not champions. You said: "Both Reid and Schotty are very successful coaches but seem to have a trouble taking their teams to the summit." I'm going to bold this part of your post, you know, just so you remember what YOU said: "Both Reid and Schotty are very successful coaches but seem to have a trouble taking their teams to the summit." To me, in this context SUMMIT and HUMP are synonymous. You didn't just say: "that he's a bit pass happy and hasn't won a Super Bowl.". So, "Not sure what you're talking about", apparently you're not sure what you are talking about either. It's all here in print, just read it.
  17. And you just furthered the point of the poster you are disagreeing with. Nice post!
  18. Looks like he got called for offensive holding.
  19. Guess I misunderstood your eye roll. I thought it was intended for the point made by Doc when he said: "Not to mention the absurdity of being taxed for not buying something." You also misquoted me. What I said was: "While the penalty (TAX) is low (at the start of its implementation) people will probably be better off only obtaining insurance when they are sick. It will be cheaper for them that way. " The bold part is the driving factor behind that thinking. I understand that the penalty is designed to prevent that from happening but the full penalty is not fully implemented at the beginning of the insertion of this law. Again, not trying to argue here. I just wanted to reply to this to clarify my quote. I do think this country needs to clean up health care, but this new law does not seem to be the solution. From what I've gathered it will initially be lower than insurance but will steadily increase to either being the same price or more than the price of insurance. Can anyone clarify or expand on this? It seems information surrounding this whole thing changes on a daily basis.
  20. I don't have health insurance. Last year I spent less than $100 for seeing a doctor. I can't afford health insurance. You think I should pay hundreds to thousands in penalties because I can't afford a product? I've been lucky health wise. If I could afford insurance I would get it. I can't. Does your current employment offer you an insurance plan? Do they offer you lower rates as an employee? Have you ever been in a situation where you can't afford insurance? I'm not trying to pick an argument with you but your -rolleyes- gif insertion makes me wonder if you can truly relate to/grasp the implications of this bill and subsequent penalty/tax. While the penalty (TAX) is low (at the start of its implementation) people will probably be better off only obtaining insurance when they are sick. It will be cheaper for them that way.
  21. If you don't have insurance here is what it will cost you: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/special/politics/what-health-bill-means-for-you/
  22. It's not that I got it wrong, it's just bad taste. It's ignorant really. I've never had an appreciation for racial humor/satire regardless of the race that is targeted. I think it's petty. I also find it ironic that you are pulling the "race card" by back peddling and trying to make an example out of Kyle Williams being white. It seems you're the only one that finds it funny. Should I insert the pejorative "lololololol" here? Oh, I just did. Did you get that?
  23. When did Rush Limbaugh join the board??? Holy crap you're a tool.
  24. My heart sank as I read your last line. Very sorry for your loss.
