I will be pissed with all the people that wanted a win today. This win cost draft position and quite possibly saved Nix (I'm on the fence with him), Gailey, Wanny AND Fitz. You will then have your continuity and an identical season next year.

Does anyone know what TT's measuring stick for "good news" is? I mean, could the Toronto series NOT being extended be considered "good news" to TT? What other things has he said that anyone can recall has he dubbed as "good news"? (hope that made sense the way I phrased that)

I'm all for whatever position he will be involved with in the front office. At this point, he can't do any worse and I would bet he could do something positive. I think he should hire a fan, from this board, to really add positive energy to the fan base. Jim, if you read this, hit me up!

Does a great QB automatically make a coach learn how to manage a clock and know when to kick a field goal or go for it on 4th instead of punt?

unfortunately, I don't see that happening. Two more bad losses are needed to hopefully get him fired.

Chan's toast. He's fried. He's seems burnt out and out of ideas. He looked extremely rattled in the post game presser. He looked like he was on something in that presser. The team is lost and it reflects on him. It looks like the only chance of him getting canned would be during next season at best. Worst case is after next season. If he is here next season this team will really bottom out next year and be at one of it's lowest points in it's history. Very sad. I feel bad for all the proud fans that have to put up with this.

Hope there is a good QB available in the 2014 draft, could be the year!

Give it another 13 years of somewhere between 6-10 to 8-8 with no playoffs and re-evaluate which type of thinking makes more sense.

Pretty close myself. I've been as vapid watching games as the team has played. I'm not in the area but I know for sure I'm not getting Sunday Ticket next year. I only get it to watch the Bills. If they are on locally I will watch but other than that I've been having a real hard time getting into the games. I forget which game it was but there was one game this year that was the first time in 20 years of watching that I actually turned the game off before the clock read 0:00. It was during the third quarter when I had had enough. I think even the most diehard fans are getting tired of scratching their heads.

I heard or read somewhere (tv or maybe on here) that this is exactly why the offense is "starting" to sputter. Teams are going to focus on shutting down the run and the screen. Mostly the screen. That's the only thing that has opened this offense up really. I think it was a good point. Probably not a secret to many on this board but it makes a lot of sense. I'm probably beating a dead horse but thought I would add this point to your observation. Who knows, maybe it was one of your posts that I read saying what I just said here. No idea what the people that think SJ is calling out Fitz watched/listened to. SJ is clearly calling out Gailey and is advocating that Fitz call/change the plays more often.
