  1. Jalen Virgil I thought Taiwan Jones dropped a TD. I believe Smith already had one that year
  2. I'll always hate the Cowboys, the self proclaimed "America's Team". I hope they lose every game for eternity. The NFL and the media have sucked up to them forever. The Pats? As others have said, they're irrelevant and I hope they stay that way forever. Maybe they won't get every call any more. The Jets? A dumpster fire of an organization and I hope that continues. The Dolphins? Kind of like watching Saturday Night Live the last decade. A couple talented people, but no idea what the hell they're doing on a weekly basis. The Chiefs? Annoying for sure, similar to the Belichick/Brady Patriots. But they're a good team and you can't make mistakes against them. Kermit is tiresome doing all those commercials, and every time I have to listen to Collinsworth gush over Mahomes I feel the need to puke.
  3. If you haven't already done so, read the Washington Post article on him titled something like "Josh Allen and the Art of Being The Man" https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/josh-allen-and-the-art-of-being-the-man/ar-AA1uc8ov
  4. In general, the officiating wasn't perfect but balanced. My only real complaint is they refuse to call KCs right tackle for not being on the line like they did to the Ravens earlier in the year. You could tell when it was a pass play by where the guy lined up! Also, that guy false starts about half the time
  5. Ballinger gave Terrence a rave review for facing Chris Jones well.
  6. A couple years ago Josh hit 12 different receivers in one game, tying the NFL record. Would have been 13 but Taiwan Jones dropped an easy one.
  7. Great insight into the difference between starting a rebuild when you have to make big changes to now, where the changes are more focused. As Bills fans, we need to be prepared for 3 phases next season: 1 - Lots of mistakes, some will costs wins as the new guys get familiar 2 - Defense gels and keeps us in games and maybe wins one or two 3 - The whole team gels and we win out This should sound a little like last season. Also, I suspect Allen's numbers will compare to last year in terms of attempts and completions, but the distribution will be a lot different. I can see 4 or 5 guys with 40-60 catches each, similar spread on yards and TDs. We saw this late last year when Allen started really spreading the ball around. Can this staff and team come together really quickly? I hope so
  8. I'm curious to know what Favre's numbers were. Also, the Bills are rarely out of close games with Allen playing. With Diggs gone, it's going to be interesting to see if he looks to get short first downs instead of some of the longer throws. As has been pointed out - endlessly - I think he made more underneath passes to Kincaid and Shaking later in the season.
  9. It looks like he can fill Digs shoes. Pretty good speed, good hands, good route runner - and Josh has begun to look for him on the field.
  10. Thanks for starting this thread. The day the drought ended, I was on a cruise ship out of Miami. After dinner, I sat in our state room watching the scrappy on board ESPN ticker for what seemed like an eternity (in reality, probably a half hour). I'm not a kid, but I jumped around when I finally saw the news we were in the playoffs. I rejoined my wife and friends in the piano bar, and it turned out the piano player was from Rochester and also a Bills fan. He announced the news and played a short rendition of the Shout song. Turns out there were a few other Bills fans on board. We started celebrating hard at that point, and don't remember much of the rest of the night. Wife wasn't too happy with me.
  11. If so, how does Collins worth have a job?
  12. You forgot Cincinnati - losers. The announcers were pretty dumb founded when they picked an OT with just 8 starts in college. They decided he must be a project - with a first round pick. Doesn't get much worse than that
  13. I'm curious how Shorter and Hamlet figure into the mix. Shorter is kind of like Davis, and Hamler, when he isn't injured, is a speed guy who can stretch the field.
  14. I think Torrence played EVERY offensive snap this year. Pretty impressive
  15. I think I have something in my eye. Continue d thoughts and prayers
