  1. Randy, as a coach (or former coach?), what do you see in Floyd that you really dislike? I mean the alcohol issues may be a concern. Do you think he cleaned up his act in senior year just to improve draft stock (i.e., less than sincere intent)? Floyd seems like a game changer kind of guy to me, but I'm just trying to sort all these guys out.
  2. It seems that James Hardy at Indiana U never really had to run routes. At 6 foot 6, he would just run down the field and catch the ball over shorter defenders. In the NFL, that lack of route-running experience held him back quite severely. That's the nutshell impression I got from the James Hardy tenure with the Bills.
  3. Hey Joe, I enjoyed reading your article, despite the damned slide show format. I had heard the term BillsMafia, but thought maybe it was just a Twitter group. Thanks for the article.
  4. Y'all are not alone on hearing it in your head that way...
  5. Sorry, dad, but that would be absurd. The idea is to gain value, not just throw it away. A 4th would be worth peanuts compared to moving down from 10 to 18.
  6. That is probably an accurate assessment. I have great hopes that Aiken can become a decent WR for us. Hopefully, it was the wacky off-season last year that stunted his development.
  7. 100% of 165 pounds = 165 pounds Let him find another team to carry him on IR. Good luck, little guy!
  8. When I got home from work today, I was so excited to see Mario become a Bill. And to say nice things about the Buffalo community. I got out my old Bills flag, and had to borrow Old Glory's flagpole for a while. Tomorrow, I will fly "the other red, white and blue". Does anyone out there have a Bills flag you can stick on a pole and hang on the house? Celebrate!
  9. Mario Manningham was on Jimmy Kimmel's show after the super bowl. Jimmy asked him if he would sign with the Patriots if they wanted him. Mario sort of winced and said he would really like to stay with the Giants. Pretty funny moment. And no thanks to Braylon Edwards.
  10. Some poster pointed out a while ago that Mario is an avid gun collector and that some of his weapons would be illegal to possess in New York state. That could be a deal breaker for some gun enthusiasts. Oh, and Ralph shelling out 100 million for one guy? That would be a shocker.
  11. Wasn't this on a play where Fitz had been intercepted, and the offense became defenders trying to tackle to DB?
  12. Yeah! He can do Britney's "Oops, I Farted Again".
  13. Very cool, Nick. Welcome to North America! You are a dedicated Bills fan, indeed.
  14. A friend said the game was broadcast on Fox Sorts Net. I will have to see if there are any replays coming up. Thanks for the rundown on who you liked in the game.
  15. I was shocked to see on the local Tucson news that there had been a new college all-star game played there tonight. The Stars & Stripes Bowl had college players - probably those not invited to Senior Bowl, Shrine, etc. The LSU QB was among the players. I only caught bits of it on the news.
  16. You are not alone! Is Upshaw a junior? (I don't think so) And those mentioned were seniors? They get down to 3rd rounders and still no Upshaw mention? Pretty peculiar, but maybe Alabama's high visibility makes him seem more valuable?
  17. So, how much are JETS playoff tickets this year? They're not in the playoffs? Hey, I thought it was guaranteed. Ha ha ha ha ha!
  18. Well, it has to be someone Ralph already knows...
  19. It's on ESPN. Widely available (do they blackout some regions?)
  20. The team just needs to be watered generously, then it will grow stronger in the spring. (Nice to see another Being There fan...)
  21. Last night at halftime, both Lou Holtz and Mark May said they would pick RG3 over Luck if they had the 1st pick. Luck will also be a great franchise QB (a foreign concept to Bills fans) but that RG3 had that Newton/Vick sort of thing that has changed the game these days. They said RG3 could compensate for a poor offensive line (like the worst teams usually have) better than Luck could.
  22. Coples looked more like a dud, dud, dud from what I saw in that bowl game. I was also unimpressed with UNC OLB Zack Brown, another top prospect. Neither player was anything close to dominant.
  23. Oh, yes, and some "tight ends that won't get injured" (not sure of his exact quote). Yikes, what decade is Ralph currently living in?
  24. Your premise is a load of crap - that the SF defense is finally good because they added Whitner? Yeah right. Linemen like Ngata ... aren't as important in today's NFL. You sure pulled that logic out of your a$$. Put the Whitner/Ngata argument to rest? Not bloody likely. But you are the crayon man, so I guess we expect nonsense arguments from you.
