Dennis in NC replied to JM57's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hah! Exactly what I think of when I hear the name Slauson. And now back to our Tea Time Movie... -
Common denominator on first 3 picks
Dennis in NC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not much of a bust, though, if you only spend a 6th or 7th pick on him. -
Updated: Northwestern State WR Ed Eagan signs with Dallas

RD 4, Pick 139: QB Cardale Jones, Ohio State
Dennis in NC replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cool! I am very excited about this pick. We need to have a backup option to develop. I love Cardale's skill set. -
Bills trying to trade up for Cook - LaCanfora
Dennis in NC replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, doesn't this suck that this guy is giving away secrets like that? It gives any other team wanting Cook incentive to move up a bit higher than the Bills might move up. -
QB Lynch very high priority for Bills/Jets!!
Dennis in NC replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mrags, I wonder why you shudder when you hear "re-up". It was used in the military as the term to "re-enlist" (sign up for 6 more years in the Army or whatever branch). The re-up concept was quite distasteful to some soldiers because they were not there voluntarily. This was the Vietnam era when the draft was still in effect. I can't imagine why the term "re-up" in a football sense would bug you, but everybody has their buttons. Personally, I find the expression "I just threw up in my mouth a little" to be pretty foul, but some people like to express themselves that way. Off topic a bit, but hey, that's life. -

Wow, that would make for a fun weekend! -
Guess who we drafted 5 picks ahead of Tom Brady?
Dennis in NC replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So who was that Patriots asst coach (or scout?) who insisted they draft Brady in the 6th round? Does anyone remember that guy's name? Is he still in the business? That bah-stahd ought to get the keys to the city of Beantown. -
Well, this is the eve of April 1st, so perhaps a grain of salt should be added to the mix. Pie restaurant?

Justin Houston to miss 6-12 months
Dennis in NC replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Didn't this injury occur last season? Why do players wait until late March to have surgery? -
RG3 meeting with Browns (update: signed)
Dennis in NC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good lord, this brings back memories of Kellen Winslow, Jr. Wasn't he with the Browns when he wrecked his scooter in a parking lot? or something like that? This 4-wheel thing (what do you call that?) looks like the updated scooter. -
Poor Bruce DeHaven...another huge ST gaffe

Ding ding ding ding! Brilliant, sir! -
Sully embarrasses himself at the Super Bowl
Dennis in NC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That would be pretty funny! Like that weird Arian Foster interview where he answered every question with the same blurb "I'm only doing what's best for the team" or some such response. -
Sad news for Bills LB Tony Steward
Dennis in NC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
May her soul rest in peace. My condolences to Tony and to her family and friends. -
Spring football on it's way apparently
Dennis in NC replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm always up for watching some football in those dead months of Spring. Hopefully, these guys can make it work. But who in the hell is the American Sports Network??? I hope Directv carries it. QB Casey Pachall (TCU) - any Bills fans remember having high hopes for him? Then he bombed out of school, got in some trouble. Best of luck to them. -
East Coast Residents: Bunch of pansies
Dennis in NC replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
It was pogying in Kenmore, too. Cars don't have the classic "bumpers" any more, so unless a 1968 Chevy is driving down the street, you have nothing to grab onto on the back of today's cars. -
Speaking of ex-Bills, Bruce DeHaven and Dwan Edwards are with Carolina. Hopefully, Bruce can actually be on a winning SB team this year. He is an inspiration to the team because of his recent battle with cancer.

I will never root for that New England team. I would rather embrace a saguaro cactus. I have considered not even watching Super Bowl L if they are playing in it. I just can't stomach those people.

I moved to the Raleigh NC last year. My wife and I tried some Bojangle's fried chicken, and after a few bites, it was crunchy, slightly spicy, but it just had NO FLAVOR. How do you leave out the frickin' flavor? Maybe the desserts are good, but I won't buy their chicken again. We had breakfast at a Waffle House in Vicksburg, Mississippi on our way driving across the country. It was memorable, but not exactly in a good way.

Feast Mode eating his way out of Green Bay
Dennis in NC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
China food. That really struck me, too, when reading his tweets. Sadly, Eddie did not get much of an education at the University of Alabama. But this probably goes back to a low grade elementary school experience. -

Mmmm, China food... Hey, Eddie, you never had a butter burger?! Maybe it's not prepared fast enough for him. -

During a MNF game at Lambeau a few years ago, they did a feature about a nearby restaurant that serves a "butter burger". I think they add some butter to it while it is grilling. Wisconsin is "America's Dairyland" after all. Boy, I was really salivating for one of those burgers. I'll bet Eddie knows that restaurant pretty well.
