I still can't believe Ralph made the HOF
BillsWatch replied to jwws9999's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
jwws sounds like a POS troll. I bet he wears puce and orange. Ralph Wilson has done more for the league than most owners and could have left Buffalo high and dry making a mint if he choose. -
Ralph Wilson Holds City Hostage For New Domed Stadium

Some are so easily convinced Jedi mind tricks and the power of the Shadow is not needed; Saturday morning cartoons, FOX News and Ladies Home Journal is all that is needed. -
You are forgetting that press and anti-fans are attracted to crap like flies; they would have created a pile themselves if there was not one for them to gather into one.

Sympathy no but I could afford advice. -
He is quoted as there being a million reason to do so. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/11344264 A prosecutor says Buffalo Bills safety Ko Simpson has asked to enter a program that would remove from his record a charge of hindering police while they tried to make an arrest. Rock Hill prosecutor Chris Barton told the Herald of Rock Hill, S.C., that Simpson likely will be accepted into the pretrial intervention program because he has no record and the charge is a misdemeanor. The program includes a requirement of at least 50 hours of community service.

Anything starting with a "T" sounds putrid, diseased and a bit lame. -

They are NOT IRAs - did you read the thread at all. I already invest my maximum in my IRA but these are different funds, funds I did not put into stock market but fixed assets. -

No I am talking about CDs and other such investments where early withdrawal results in substantial penalties but it is no longer protected by FDIC. I am not sure what worries me more - them not extending it or extending it. Right now I have exercised any options I had such as notices and converting of terms so I can move what I can leaving behind longer term assets. Unfortunately this is not only bank I am dealing with this type of problem since I tend to layer assets as part of my insurance. Which is exactly why I have taken all of the money I can out of Citi group in past and I am being saddled with them again. I have found changes in terms in past allowing access to information to partners and such which I told them no and closed accounts but they are getting it anyways now. Seems only solution is to take as much assets out of US. -
All of my primary banks for my accounts are being taken over by insolvent large banks aided by government (i.e. Citi bank). None of my banks were in financial difficulties hence government was paying them to clean up mess. How are banks being aided by government able to convince solvent banks to merge with them? It appears that government money is going into mergers. Oh and I am worried that some of my assets will be combined into one bank and my combined assets will exceed the maximum amount being protected by FDIC once temporary raise limit to $250,000 expires at end of year. Ii appears to be setting me up to either lose insurance or take a penalty for early withdrawal.

Our family's first dog Ivan developed cancer but despite recommendations of others we had him treated by the vet which involved quite a bit of removal of his nose. The vet did a good job putting together his nose back together and a few weeks it was barely visible. The vet was surprised how well he seemed to recover from the surgery but half a year later we found lumps in his belly and returned to vet. The vet did not recommend surgery again and Ivan did seem to be having any issues so we choose not to put him to sleep. He got sicker a couple of months later finally developing lumps in paws which would break/bleed and making it difficult to walk so finally decided to give him the rest he deserved. We took him to vet and held him while he was given his shot until he drifted off forever. Most difficult thing we had to do but we could not put him through anymore pain although he seemed to enjoy himself when with us.

Breaking news: Faulty voting machines found in Tampa
BillsWatch replied to DIE HARD 1967's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Only a dollar short? Next he will be posting a story from the National Enquirer stating that voters were kidnapped and replaced by aliens. He has been on a campaign against Ralph's induction. He really ought change his alias. -

At least 80% of the voters were smarter than you? -
Absolutely. If you follow the team and feel like that change your allegiance on outside as well as inside for inside you are already not a Bills fan.

I'd like to see Tasker before Reed in HOF
BillsWatch replied to Skipsterx's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One of the rules that was changed made was that players could not go out of bounds on kicks and make plays. Tasker was double teamed frequently and triple teamed on occasion so he figured out how to get around the blocks and still make the tackle or down the ball. -

We have had this discussion before on the board. At top of my head I can remember Lionel Taylor from old AFL Broncos, Johny Morris from the Bears, Art Monk of the Red$kins and Todd Christenson (sp?) of the Raiders. How long did it take Art Monk to get in? I think it will take as many tries. -

Andre is viewed by many sports writers as proliferate receiver but not a dominating one who can take over games. If you look at stats that he had a maximum of 90 catches a year - how many WRs have had more than 90 catches in a game? Over 120 WRs have. That is just one sample how sports writers dissect his career with many of them now not seeing him in his prime. Very, very good for a long time but not great for multiple seasons.
