That he was isolated and beaten may may have prevented him from going to another AFC East team but not encouraged him to go to Buffalo. The only thing I heard was a Bills WR was lobbying him to look at Buffalo but no idea who since none of them have a personal relationship with TO. I think this is win-win for TO - if we make the playoffs he can point out that for many years before TO the Bills missed playoffs and they made it now otherwise he can point out that for many years before TO the Bills missed playoffs so it is not due to him.

I voted "No" because it would show the poster nothing and all poster should be shown. -
Just read Watchmen graphic novel

I read the originals when released and bought the hardcover just because. Some of the Minuteman sequences were different than I envisioned with changes unnecessary but most of the rest of the changes were acceptable or improved the story IMO although I am sure Alan Moore will be unhappy with film (whenever will he be happy?). I though Patrick Wilson did a fabulous job as Nite Owl making the character both flawed but very dangerous; his characterization made Ozymandias a much more dangerous physical opponent than the character actor Matthew Goode represented. The Comedian was characterized perfectly in the movie and the expanded initial fight scene was needed IMO for the film. Both Silk Spectres were changed in the movie and I think it was made to make it more appealing to woman viewers. Doctor Manhattan was pretty much represented in the book and in the film they seemed to flaunt frontal nakedness in a way to say "look what we can do" unlike how Moore used it. I was expecting the 2-for-1 scene not to be shown. Rorschach was Rorschach and I agree the actor got into his head; I hope Jackie Earle Haley as easily can get out of Rorschach's mindset. I think sales will be disappointing not because the movie did not represent the book well but because it did - even with the slasher-type movies I think this movie is going to be too disturbing for a number of viewers. Oh and I think that all the aging makeup except for the elder scenes with the Comedian were terrible. -
Dolphins ought to capture it and make it their mascot.

[closed]Some team will make a lot of $

All of the teams in the NFL except Cowpokes are part of a joint marketing deal where all teams get a percentage of the sales but player's team has incentives to sell jerseys so the team which picks up Owens will get a higher percentage of sales. Cowpokes negotiated as separate deal with NFL after threat of a lawsuit. Sorry no link but this was a story a few years ago (2006?). -
Jets signed safety Jim Leonhard
BillsWatch replied to BillsWatch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
More on story: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/11458135 Jim Leonhard had his heart set on following Rex Ryan to the New York Jets when a late, eye-popping offer intrigued him."We were very close to having everything signed, sealed and delivered out to New York when all of a sudden the Denver Broncos came out of nowhere and threw out a really big number at me," the Jets' new safety said Wednesday. "So, I took a few hours to consider it and we ultimately decided that regardless of the money situation, the Jets were the place to be." The 26-year-old Leonhard signed a three-year deal with the Jets on Tuesday, and while financial terms weren't announced, it's believed to be worth around $2 million a year. Denver's offer was significantly better, and Leonhard acknowledged that he left quite a bit of money on the table. -
Many players sit as reserves because they need more seasoning time Whether Carolina OL Geoff Hangartner is a backup who never will become starter material or a player ready to start we will find out. Of course those who bad mouthed him in beginning will continue to do so to support their premature exclamations.

You have no faith left and are stirring the pot because you want others to join you with mindless, factless drivel. -

McD's has a sense of humor. Maybe they can get away with McD clown being in courtroom as character witness. -

Since you said 3 wins I know we will win more. I'll bet you we do at least 5 wins, 4 we push and 3 or less you lose. Winner goes away for entire off-season after Bills play last game of 2009 season. I'll even ask SDS to have someone else moderate my boards. Or did you get this info from another of your reliable sources? -
The New York Jets on Tuesday signed safety Jim Leonhard, the second player new coach Rex Ryan has lured away from the Baltimore Ravens. Leonhard, a hard hitter despite being just 5-foot-8, signed with Buffalo as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin in 2005. He is expected to join Kerry Rhodes as the Jets' starting safeties. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/11453107 Let the lame jokes return.

Number of posts and how long he was on that site does not matter - Skooby used to post bogus inside info all of the time and he just moved onto this board to do it. -

I remember seeing that hit during highlights one time. Hopefully playing for Gregg has not ruined his skills. -
Well if you believe that Mediocrity why are you are still here? Sound like your colors are Green and Yellow Mediocrity. Mentally, lacking as they may be, Jets fandom seem to be for you Mediocrity. Seems your state is being full of shi# and acting like a jackas since you appeared to join to stir up trouble like a troll.

If the reason is the twenty minute attention span before you posting your reply to your own post you are wrong.

It is very difficult to depend upon a player who can not stay healthy for whom the front office needs to pay a full time salary to. -

If it is truly making you sick the doctor's prescription would be to change teams. If you are disappointed understand disappointment is a fact of life.
