  1. Thanks for posting the article Lori. Better than the local 'professional' writers and columns. When I read their articles it is like listening to 'Fair and Balanced' Fox more sales and shoving their opinions than news. Whenever I see the phrase 'Fair and Balanced' I translate it to 'willing to distort facts to my opinion'. Did anyone ask why they do not do these near other events so those who come out of town?
  2. I was going to get a Nelson jersey. Looks like I am going to have multiple #89 jerseys now! Nelson you have big shoes to fill!
  3. A number people have made comments on why since she had not been interested in owning Bills once her father passed away since she worked in organization. Now it will be publicly known that she had been battling it for some while according to relative who worked in hospital and did not have any aspirations beyond surviving. At least she was able to know her father would be inducted even if she could not be there in person. Rest peacefully Linda.
  4. 2nd Round QB Beck was cut by the Fish. Players are sometimes cut when teams realize that the scout they depended upon to grade player was completely wrong.
  5. I did not think he would take it anyways. He can get more making $10/hour on his release from prison job.
  6. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/11688260 The Albany Firebirds, an arenafootball2 franchise, have offered the 28-year-old quarterback a one-year contract at the league standard: $200 a week plus a $50 bonus for a win. I wonder if he can count this as "community service".
  7. Lots of *coughs* and too sick to go to work and my ankle is sore. You are right. Eilite and JP go together like government and efficiency.
  8. What I think Jauron needs is some old blood to go with the fresh blood coaches he has hired. Maybe as consultants or something to play devil's advocate to his coaches' plans. Many older coaches stopped coaching due to sheer number of hours they work with little outside life. I also think they need to rebuild scouting department which has never truely recovered since Butler left and many of the scouts left after their contracts ran out.
  9. I watch it on and off after picking it up on SciFi Channel (I do not watch much network TV) and it was a good episode although I have missed the last couple and first fifteen minutes.
  10. Carolina is in a really bad bind with Peppers contract and they are determined that someone is going to pay a big price for Peppers so they are willing to pay Paul to get rewards for Peppers.
  11. No but I have had discussions before regarding it. It is all designed for one solution - the mask you wear when you sleep. Doctors recommend it too much in my opinion.
  12. A number of Bears fans in this area. At work I'll see half dozen Bears jerseys on Fridays including one I know personally. More Pittsburgh than any other fans other than the local Redsucks/Nevermores.
  13. Jennings was serviceable only because we had a veteran OL swing man who sometimes played as well as him. I forgot his name but he used to play for New Orleans before us.
  14. You do not sign a veteran player who can not stay healthy to roster unless you are wiling to cut him in preseason and sign him again after week 1 otherwise the entire salary is owed. If you are going to rent temp, pay him temporarily.
  15. All of the players mentioned in trading block are not going to be traded. He is just putting out potential players for trade in attempt to get more draft picks to compete with current players on roster. Some teams may feel their coaches or their scheme can get more out of players than Bills and then they will trade.
  16. The next JP Losman may be available; I can not see why the Bills would not trade future picks to get such a player a year earlier then they would have otherwise.
  17. http://www.azcentral.com/sports/ua/article...0416onobun.html Football could be in Fendi Onobun's future. Over the weekend, the former Arizona basketball player worked out for the New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers and Buffalo Bills. He was joined by former Wildcat football players B.J. Dennard and Marquis Hundley. Did a google search and did not see it mentioned on TSW.
  18. Peter King also posted on page BEFORE quote by Reid: Quote of the Week I http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writ...20/draft/2.html "Jason Peters is the best left tackle in football.'' -- Philadelphia coach Andy Reid, after dealing first, fourth- and sixth-round picks to Buffalo for the Pro Bowl tackle. Not last year he wasn't. One was a quote (in red) from Reid justifying draft picks and huge contact, the other (in blue) was King's opinion. Peters like a lot of me generation is concerned not how well he did but his bottom line.
  19. Maybe that was a Castaway joke but he said "Autozone here I come!". Autozone is a national chain of auto parts stores, based in Memphis. Good luck Poojer.
  20. Better than the reverse on main wall.
  21. His anonymous source is Peter's agent. And posts will not vanish PTR for I dealt with the RJ zombies and will bump the posts reminding them of what Chicken Littles posted.
  22. They got a bad deal because they could not trade away the Peters-first fans with the pick. The Bills are going to saddled with these just like Rob Johnson fans who continued to claim Bills missing out his potential and blaming coaching and front office for not getting players to make him successful.
  23. I've had rectal surgery to fix two holes in my rectum and I expect the pain to be similar with same pretreatment. Worst pain I was ever in other than knee surgery and that was transitory once doctor realized he needed to pump up the volume.
  24. If they had to eat the food the dietitian requires school server they would not eat anything.
