  1. Try Canton Inn via Expedia 1031 Tuscarawas St W, Canton, OH‎ - (330) 452-9703‎ I was able to get as far in booking before I needed to provide credit card info. $45+taxes a night Only room listed was smoking however. If you need more help send me a PM.
  2. Yes they did but obviously they did not make a claim on time for Blake otherwise the headline would state Lions was awarded him. Record was referring to those teams which put claims in for him since he has less than 4 years of service.
  3. Yep, I know it. Appears Crescent-News and Yahoo got source from same AP feed which misspelled his name. Now if I can just get the Chinese Jersey manufacturer to refund the money because they misspelled his name on it I'd be happy!
  4. http://www.crescent-news.com/news/article/4610163 Browns moves: The Cleveland Browns were awarded linebacker Blake Costanza (sp) from the Buffalo Bills. Costanza played in all 16 games on Buffalo's special teams last season and led the club with 26 tackles and forced two fumbles. An undrafted free agent who signed with the New York Jets in 2006, the 25-year-old spent a portion of the 2007 season on Buffalo's practice squad and played special teams in the Bills' final three games that season. Unsurprisingly Costanzo found a home. Young, inexpensive LBs who manage to be active and healthy 16 games, even if just on special teams, usually can find work. Note: Browns got him because they were team with worst record last year. Several other teams put in waiver claims for him as well.
  5. Nah we'd have more loser posts from shitheaps like you on the wall. Why don't you go pretend to be fan of UFL team?
  6. Sabz's reliability is same range as SKOOBY's - low to none except when he is parroting someone else.
  7. I haven't been to a Six Flags since Danny $nyder purchased it. Once he was involved I found something else to spend recreational money for.
  8. There was a lot of speculation at the time in press that Anderson decided to shank kicks because he did not want to play for Buffalo and his agent had contact with other teams. Sorry no links since there was very limited internet at time. UDFA does not apply anyways since he was drafted by Bills.
  9. Joel Bell hasn't been picked up by some other team's 80 man roster, has he? Perhaps he is just not ready for NFL training camp yet. Maybe Cowboys will give him a call and he can go practice for team he watched in Europe.
  10. What about free music and breasts AND beer? Signed up for free beer St Pauli Girl poster with beer purchase, sent in receipt and got refund on beer & postage. Never even opened poster. Also included with refund was CDs with Oktoberfest music. Sorry this promotion was a few years ago so no longer valid. They still give away posters though (http://www.stpauligirl.com/poster.php).
  11. My wife said to say "Thanks". Is this the same thing? http://cgi.ebay.com/F-Female-to-RCA-Male-A...bayphotohosting We need at least two and shipping is free so it is $1 each Summit charges $9 for shipping even if I got just one. Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc were useless on this.
  12. That comment about "coupon" was a joke - I am not trying to transition to digital for I have cable and have had it for ten years.
  13. My wife bought two new Magnavox DVD/VHS players to replace two of them we have at home. Yea I know old technology but we are old too. We have Cable at home and the cable wires were all provided by cable company. No Direct TV because owner (me) is a bastard. These DVD/VHS players do not have hex jacks (i.e. photo1) with needles like the ones that plug into really old VCRs and DVD players we have at the house (i.e. photo 2) but entirely push jacks (i.e. photo3). Photos: http://members.cox.net/chost/AV.jpg Are there adapters we can get for cable so we can plug them into new DVD/VHS players? Replacing cables would mean (1) taking out cables from walls, etc, (2) Being able to find and install right cables so an adapter is the best solution I can think of. I had no idea jacks had changed since we had last bought VHS/DVD players. Where is the government coupon to pay for it?
  14. All of those who get worked up because they can not have NFL Network on basic cable.
  15. If you use IE you are a lot more likely to be infected. Since many windows servers out there are taken over by malbots and IE and Windows servers work so well together this results in much higher infection rate; Outlook mail also is prime infection medium. This problem is really bad if user also has admin privileges. When my daughter was forbidden to use IE on new system. I crippled it to make it not worth using and not let her install any program requiring admin rights. she has never gotten any malware even though I know she has been to questionable sites.
  16. I have heard that before but I have also seen a number of sites list him as playing and starting in 1996 and 1998. i.e. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PhilAn20.htm http://www.nfl.com/players/anthonyphillips...le?id=PHI118030 He was never in NFL a great interception CB with Jim Kelly's throw being his 2nd and last interception and only return. He never played a full season - before or after injury.
  17. You know if people used descriptive subjects there would be less duplicate threads.
  18. Correct on both. I was at that game. Sunday, November 12, 1995 Week 11: Atlanta Falcons @ Buffalo Bills Anthony Phillips intercepted Kelly's pass breaking a 172 interception-free streak (to those who think that must be close to a NFL, not even close - Jeff George had a 279 interception-free streak end in previous year and that isn't even the record) near goal line and went to near midfield for 43 yards before Jim Kelly tracked him down, tackled him snapping his leg and then stepped on the leg as it went sideways. Kurt 'the enforcer' Schultz intercepted Jeff George (yep, same George) in the end zone on the final play to seal the victory. By the way attendance at the game was only 62,690
  19. http://www.reuters.com/article/oddlyEnough...News&rpc=69 Molson retirees in the province of Newfoundland will see their monthly allotment of beer fall from six dozen a month to zero over the next five years. Current workers will see their allotment drop from 72 dozen bottles a year to 52 dozen. How are workers supposed to be able to work without 72 dozen free bottles (36 cases) a year?
  20. In Buffalo with my family and as usual my we have the mini-van which my wife drives almost all of the time except to give her a break on trip from VA. We are driving from West Seneca to Blasdell, get a little gas and she asked if I could drive because she was a little tired. It is a little after dawn with mist and I am going a little less than speed limit (hate the van) and when I get to green light on Southwestern near Wilson Farms I hit the brakes HARD. My daughter rolls onto floor (laying down on bench w/o seat belt again, my wife goes forward jolted by seat belt and yells what the matter. The next instant a car comes barreling through light inches in front of van across Angie road going North probably going 55. He scrapped front bumper a bit an just continued on driving. Now this was not someone who was running red light and just missed it - light was green all the way from where I turned from Transit to Southwest. The idiot just was ignoring lights, going very fast and I just happened to catch the car out of corner of my eye. If I had broke less than 2 seconds later he would have collided straight into drivers side door. If I'd attempted to speed up the mini-van it would have hit the back of it. My wife said she never saw him and wouldn't have.
  21. If you sell tickets to training camp then professional scouts can set up and take all of the film they want. This happened to Redsucks a couple of years ago, This way only the Patriots* can do this without buying film from unconnected private attendees.
  22. Green Bay would not have made it to Superbowl without Beebe which is something his fellow teammates acknowledged.
  23. Yes he was and not only should SHE apologize but the Bills fans who convicted him on this hearsay report do so. The others won't but I expect that from the trolls.
  24. Suprised about Joel Bell for he appeared to be a rare physical combination but evidently too raw. Blake Costanzo lost in numbers game and his agent may have requested him to be released to give him another chance to catch on.
