I watch so little of current horror genre it is best of category for me. Slasher, Jason, etc movies do not appeal to me and should be a different category. I do not know if "Justice League: The New Frontier" made it to US theaters. It was a film I wanted and got on DVD due to the excellent voice players and 50s classic style art when it came out. It only made $3.5 million at box office and according to IMDB it was a direct-to-DVD so I guess it was released only to a very small set of theaters.

Schools do not open until after Labor Day here so students technically have classes until Wednesday (Wednesday is 2 hours early release) although I am sure a lot of kids skip despite threats by school to dock grades for absences. Fairfax County uses a lot of early dismissals / late arrivals to get around rule for so many school days to get full federal funding.

Up to 20 inches now and school will probably be closed for the week. We shoveled the way out of driveway which hopefully will last for emergencies until plows fill my driveway with snow. We bought a snow blower after last big snowstorm a couple of years ago and it certainly came in handy today although 360 days a year or more it is just something taking up space in garage.

Not sure if student protest / sit in was really an "arrest" although I was photographed on campus detention site as we all were with two campus cops (I knew the campus cops, big linebacker type guys and I had one arm reaching up on each of their shoulders in arrest shot with me smiling and them trying to keep straight faces) and a warning not to get in any more trouble or they would submit charges against me. I even reported it on work security clearance paperwork including all details and it was scratched out and "No" was written by processor.

In Alexandria we got more than a foot of snow overnight. Last night I was playing Axis & Allies which stopped at 10 PM. I went to take my usual route home and saw three cars on side of road or partially on road abandoned and decided to take an alternate longer route with 2 lanes each direction most of the way home. It took me a lot longer but I got home safely.
