Met him once in Virginia. Deceptively fast for a guy his size.

A little help from my Bills Brethren (and Sisteren)...

How are you going to see it with Rich blocking the view? -
Maybe he was his roommate?

A lot of tickets are on sale and it appears that there are more than for some other games. Could be they think Bills are a weak seller or maybe they are more interested in division games and are unloading non-division games.

I'll be glad to for I think you will in beer line most of game. Let me know if you if you get a reasonable priced lead.

In college a guy in a convertible parked in handicap space w/o license plate, sticker or plaque and proceeded to dump his ashtrays on ground before going into building. I was kind enough to pick them up for him and put them back in his car with a note 'You dropped these' before I called campus police to have him booted for not having a handicapped license plate, sticker or plaque.

The place Rich has arranged is very nice and I think his estimate on number is very low especially when weather is nice. I plan on going this year but not going to see live game since prices are so high unless I find something reasonable.

There is 3-4 and 4-3 and a few others

That is exactly what a DC ought to do and be prepared to change formations, especially after half time, if it is not working. -
KFFL Reports Primetime schedule announcement TODAY
BillsWatch replied to richNjoisy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Today as in Monday, March 22 or did they mean April 22 and plug in day of week that was? I have not seen anything KFFL is so unreliable sometimes. -
Do you use one of those fancy multi bladed razors?
BillsWatch replied to Just Jack's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I use the Fusion and I got it first in mail for free. I used to use an electric but it no longer works for me despite its claims that it would 'catch the long, thin hairs of teenagers" which I still have. I tried various shaving creams and gels but none helped with Fusion but plain old hand cream works great and I get a smooth shave every week or so when I bother shaving. -
Be careful. They could tack a fee on to your account. Old story: I had a credit card which I used for total of $10.06. I sent a check for $10.06 and they cashed it for only $10.00. I called them telling them I have returned check and it clear states $10.06 including in writing on check "Ten dollars and six cents". I was told on phone that I do not need to worry and it would be waived. Next month I got a statement with balance of $.06; I called again and told me there was no problem I owed nothing and statement was printed before I was talked to by office. I did not use credit card and on next statement their was the $0.06 plus interest (minimum amount of interest allowed, I think $.50) and a $25 non-payment fee. I called back again and was told it was not an issue and it would be corrected including confirmation by a manager who was called on line. Next month I was charged interest on balance (minimum amount) and interest on the $25 with warning that I would be charged a fee again and report would be given to credit agencies if I did not pay immediately. I called, canceled account despite their assurances that it would be corrected. I sent an official bank check and closed account. It is not worth this trouble.

There were court decisions including Supreme Court which declared it legal but the cases I know were before the 14th/15th and 19th Amendments so I do not know if they are still valid.

It would only work if the team had a unique hybrid LB-Safety who could cover as well as safety and that LB would sometimes rush and sometimes cover. Sort of the reverse of an in-the-box safety. -
One of the best players the Bills ever Drafted
BillsWatch replied to djsabres's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
in 1961 Bills and Browns were in different leagues at time hence why Bills could draft him as well as Redskins (who would not play a black player) and traded him to Browns. Perhaps this is what you are missing? I do not remember him from 60's but I was not born and not a college football fan as a child or now. -
Yes and according to article he is having the controversial microfracture surgery and 'is optimistic of being back in the NFL next fall'. Many times this microfracture surgery is not successful and I think with new special teams coach they do not want to take the chance. It is likely he got a injury settlement and if he had surgery week 7 he would have a better chance IMO in being ready to play in NFL and making a roster. He does appear to have a good attitude about this. http://www.laramieboomerang.com/articles/2...bd113310436.txt

BillsWatch replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is too bad that DCs can not play 3-4 or 4-3 depending upon opponent. The Bills switched mid season after a pair of starter injuries a number of years ago but I have never seen a DC who could adapt per game radically. -
Every year I am tempted to buy a season ticket but I can not stand for most of the game as what occurs in many part of stadium. There is no way I could get a row 1 seat on upper levels so my only option is to buy a ticket in one of the clubs and unloading a single ticket is too difficult in my opinion and buying a second ticket hoping to unload first weeks I do go is just as difficult. In my opinion the best views are from the first row on 2nd level opposite scoreboard. You can watch the game until they reach the other end and then see scoreboard and video w/o turning around.

Sounds like the owners are being smart unlike when they renewed the contract. The NFL can not keep increasing in value with current climate and difficulty of selling seats. The NFLPA made too many assumptions that increase rate in revenue would continue.

Derek Anderson blasts Browns fans...
BillsWatch replied to Buftex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He implies that Browns acted like Bills did when Rob Johnson was hurt. I think that QBs are hyped so much that when they fall they get automatic echoes of fall. -
Pittsburgh signed someone we cut and who the wall determined was incompetent. This must mean Pittsburgh is losing its touch like all of the other teams which signed our castoff coaches and players.

Why are We Looking at Players from Losing Teams
BillsWatch replied to box0life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes and in meanwhile if you believe the sourpusses on this board we had worst coaches and players in the league but after they were dumped they were picked up by other teams. This proves the ability to logically think is not a requirement for the wall.
