What A Stadium In Niagara Falls Would Look Like
BillsWatch replied to BiggieScooby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Ralph is better than some NFL stadiums I have visited. The Washington one is terrible with poor sight lines. Bigger and fancier is not necessarily better. Who should new stadium be created for? Season ticket holders? I only hear complaining from rising prices. Casual ticket purchasers? More likely to purchase higher priced seats but no guarantee to fill stadium; many of them are opposition fans who are used to paying higher prices but not all teams have fans that travel well. "bills1960 opposition fan stadium" might work economically but no guarantee and I am sure there will be more complaints from coach potatoes. Premium Season ticket holders? I only hear complaining from rising prices but many do not go to all games so maybe they will not mind paying more for games they go. Club booth renters? Hard to sell booths now. Opposing teams? Are they willing to fund it? Developers of new stadium? I am sure they will be for it - if their proposal is chosen otherwise will be part of opposition. Taxpayers? They do not even want to fund current stadium Players? Not if one cent comes out of their percentage. -
I would not be surprised if that was part of consideration of entire strike. I could hear the pitch: "You hate training camp and by the time it is settled it is likely most of training camp and maybe even some preseason games will be canceled but we will make sure they pay you for all games which is all that really matters, right?"

So only US residents have to pay tax? No wonder US is going broke when we are subsidizing shipping free items out of US.

Bills fans should be wary of franchise predators

Certainly not Jerry Sullivan. He has not been mentally competent since he has written opinion pieces for Buffalo News. -
Well butter my buns… the Bills might be forced…

When I was active on that board he said he no longer has access to figures he used to hence reason why he stopped updating page. -
Too all the Ralph haters
BillsWatch replied to Mini Max Anderson Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He did not understand it specifically how the money was going to be shared with low revenue teams; they were only given 45 minutes on a document which as big as some congressional bills. If someone reported Ralph did not read it I suspect it was Jerry Sullivan. -
League Considering Dropping Blackouts 15%
BillsWatch replied to BiggieScooby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Problem is that Bills at 95% full do not bring in as much revenue as some stadiums do at 75% not counting PSLs which go only to team. I can see validity in argument it should be revenue not seats which determines when blackouts should occur. -
The top rookies is awful close to all the top rookies and I disagree on that. Some may rather go to team where they have good chance of starting for a number of them have egos which will only allow them to be starters. I am not saying they would choose Buffalo but where they see best combination of coaches, team and opportunity. NYS has its own drawbacks including massive taxes in Albany to fund downstate people. There will be some who will see advantage being big fish in small pond but I do not think many.

Perhaps some progress after 3 days of secret talks

It directly reflects Paul Tagliabue and mess he left behind. If he was still in office mess would still be here and he would be cleaning up his own mess. -
“The people making the rules at the NFL are idiots”
BillsWatch replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Having it happen to Harrison would be ironic and appropriate. -
Players just do not want previous deal to end; they got on a gravy train and expected it to go on forever despite clause in contract they agreed to that it could be terminated. It is just as when they get signing / upfront money and hold out (being cut is part of contract), etc it is all about the me generation. And I am not calling my congressman to make a change because someone is holding their breath until they turn blue no matter how many union supporters join and post threads. Have seen this on a number of boards meaning possible attempt to manipulate fans. Let it get resolved and have NFL players have to agree to what they sign or give back money.

He is right, they are idiots. Only thing the players will listen to are game bans. -

Earthquake predicted for North America this week
BillsWatch replied to Just Jack's topic in Off the Wall Archives
What kind of garbage site adds those streaming words on video? -
I can not not believe they chose her - she is not good enough to hold Linda Carter's makeup tray. Linda Carter was Miss America and she would not make 10 finalists. Long vinyl pants? She probably does not want to shave her legs. They missed on the article 'Your Everything Guide to Wonder Woman's New Costume' the belt serves to hold in the girdle used to hide fact she does not have abs expected of Wonder Woman. She should try to remake '' Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw " first.

The annual tailgate is held jointly with the UB Alumni Association. Special guest this year is Rico Martin of the French Connection. The annual tailgate will have Bills games shown on all screens, inside and outside, including the huge one obtained each year. As usual the All-U-Can-Eat buffet will be available. http://www.jimmystav...es/tailgate.jpg

Josh Reed signs with the Chargers
BillsWatch replied to BillsGuyInMalta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess some people are better at being stupid that others or they try harder. Good luck Josh you were a dependable even if not spectacular player. Very few WR were willing to block like you did. -
WE CAN buy a block of tickets to the opener
BillsWatch replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just one for me. -
I was not there this year for I was working on the greenhouse for my wife but it is one of two events in alley Jimmy's holds each year and always a good time.

Everything I have seen is linked to a tailgate package with some as high as $250 a person. The Ravens appear to be attempting to milk for as much money as they can when keeping their tickets at their posted prices.
