  1. Was. He had 7 sacks before this week. Not sure if he still is and week is not over yet.
  2. "John Adams Bastard Slapper" is not such a bad nickname.
  3. I used to work on road a lot and was in Fayetteville, NC where there were some K9s exercised after hours in a park downtown where I walked. I told an officer he had a beautiful dog and said yes he was and many people just saw the teeth. I asked if I could pet him and said it was fine as long as dog was not working or training AND officer said Ok. I petted the dog quite often and the dog could recognize me in the park even with a different handler. One of the handlers said the dogs do not get a lot of attention despite amount attention officers give it and it was good for the dogs to receive positive attention from the public. I used to eat ribs a lot on road (expense account) and I would bring bones to dogs. I even had a restaurant give me a lot of saved bones for the dogs when they noticed me eating a lot there and asked what kind of dog I had.
  4. http://sports.yahoo....t_over_dolphins The Miami Dolphins made Trent Edwards(notes) an offer after working him out earlier this week, but the quarterback turned it down. I assume he saw state of their Offensive Line and decided it was better for his health and career to wait and take a chance of playing some other time. I think 'unemployment' is author's hyperbole rather than actually collecting since he would need to justify turning down offer.
  5. Yes he has. Several times he was double teamed last week which surprised me.
  6. But it makes no difference since Jets gives it back to Ravens.
  7. As bad as the Bills have been over the last decade Buffalo radio has fallen out of major league thru minor league to little league. Maybe Buddy does not want to associate more than he needs to with a bunch of non-lovable losers.
  8. Maybin will probably get special teams only. Moorman will pancake him.
  9. http://apnews.myway.com//article/20110925/D9PVQ5UG1.html The OnStar automobile communication service used by 6 million Americans maintains its two-way connection with a customer even after the service is discontinued, while reserving the right to sell data from that connection. Nothing on OnStar's website to discontinue monitoring; going to send a notice to Chevy that if they do not put pressure on OnStar that will not purchase any more cars from them since there is no way to remove OnStar gear without mechanic. The spying by OnStar makes it sound like they should be sponsor of Patriots.
  10. Regulars Scott Norwood and Redskins Hall of Fame player Charlie Taylor will be there. Guest this year is Bills CB Booker Tyrone Edgerson. AFL All-Star 1965 AFL Champion 1964, 1965 Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame, 2010 Alley will be open with LARGE screen TVs. All you can eat Anchor Bar Wings, Salhen Hot Dogs, BBQ, etc. Will not be there this year - wedding to go to. Think it is first one I missed which I was not in Buffalo for game or on road for work.
  11. If they had not activated WR wrong practice squad I'd say sign Reed, let Patriots wonder what we are going to do with him and at last possible minute, have him retire and active WR from practice squad. Josh Reed used to have his best games against Patriots.
  12. I think special teams were shaking in general showing lack of prep time for special teams. NFLPA wimp rule - only 11 practices with tackling probably has partly to do with it.
  13. It is inane and some would say INSANE to worry about the lease AFTER he sells. Ralph is not selling team - go to some other team if you want a sellout.
  14. Trent Edwards was a QB with promise until Arizona game; I was at that game. That game rattled him and he was never able to recover from it.
  15. Hammers lot is last large lot on left going north on Abbott before you get to stadium. http://members.cox.net/billswatch/Hammer/index.html
  16. Looks like I'll miss my first TBD opener. Wedding following weekend and I am not up to driving up there two weekends in a row with repaired shoulder.
  17. I did not get to see whole game (DirectTV issues, despite some claim how great it is they screw up pretty often and refuse to give credit to customers when they do) but I agree with your analogy and will take it one further, When was it when offense APPEARED to look better under another QB and the QB was just right for offense? When Flutie was making plays out of busted line assignments and only when teams played solid ball control did they look ordinary and took away his 'magic'. I am wondering when same thing will happen with Fitzpatrick - how long before teams realize that the way to beat him is play solid coverage on all the immediate plays and just beat Bills with pressure that line can not handle? I think Fitz has shown he is willing to throw long and into coverage but I think that has limitations if a good defense schemes against it,
  18. It was NOT the same defense - it was wore down after trying to tackle Freddy.
  19. What do you expect from a CHEAP Owner and poor management with a perpetual losing record who refuse to get rid of failures? Quality writers at Buffalo News?
  20. Jimmy's Old Town Tavern, the bar I watch game in, had issues. They tried multiple times to reboot boxes to no avail. He had his employees check and other bars did not have game either. He noticed that the one TV at bar was working and figured out it was the HD receivers, sent employee to his home who brought back 3 non-HD receivers and got TVs working. No sound since evidently it was different wired w/HD vs regular receivers. The receivers started working in 2nd half and he was able get HD/sound working. None of the other bars in area with HD reception had game either; Jimmy's was only one who came up w/solution.
  21. Exactly and he added more falsities and half truths in his apology. And he is not a Bills fan.
