And it is silly to complain about things like PSLs, cost of beer and pre-season game costs while at same time claiming all those funds as reason for referees to deserve more as part time employees then full time employees get. All of the owners are not billionaires and exaggeration is a tool of those dishonest on argument. If you use a tool like exaggeration or illegal cameras it is because you see a benefit to using it.

I think there are plenty of fans especially in a stadium like Ravens' which would beat up referees.

Players get suspended for rest of game of they touch officials, even accidentally. He should be should be banned next game as any player would touching officials after game but won't. In fact tapes will be disposed of for there is no evidence on it.

I think some of the inexperience in DBs and LBs has cut down blitzing - inexperienced players have trouble making adjustments when one of the players blitzes. They have done some of the Dick Jauron overload plays where DE drops in coverage (Denney used to do that fairly often) and overload other side w/LB - same number of players rushing but attempting to overload blockers.
