What is the greatest prize you and won?
BillsWatch replied to millbank's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Won a dishwasher and camera (different drawings, no cost). -
I got a new message today: "We noticed that you may have an Ad Blocker turned on. Please be aware that our site is best experienced with Ad Blockers turned off." Really? I think users would know if ads enhance or subtract from experience; I am not going to turn it off for one site anyways. Next you will be telling me my software to block web tracking beacons should be turned off as well.

How many 'turds' on the Bills?

Closing topic. Go to PPP if you want to do political battles. -
Byrd Skipping mandatory mini-camp
BillsWatch replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Really more than the whole team? Did he play for someone else or is he not part of team? Think you meant REST OF team but appears there is no TEAM in BYRD. Absolutely NO. His agent Parker will just insist on a reworked deal 2 years from now. He did that to Bills before. -
Before it was a WR and now it is a DE is bad mouthing Kolb: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000217681/article/calais-campbell-arizona-cardinals-now-have-a-real-qb Bills players are not bad mouthing Frtiz so is that a sign of how bad Kolb was perceived in Arizona or Fritz just got more respect from Bills players?

And how many do we need to make some fans happy? http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2013/football/nfl/wires/07/11/2020.ap.fbn.jim.litke.071113.0969/index.html So how many turds on Bills and who are they?

I'll bow on that one and it was not a typo or spelling correction but deliberate choice by me. Any time we get a thread which is going so long with many threads merged onto it the same points are regurgitated so many times I get nausea,

Do not care for twinkies very much but loved the snow balls. Like the Bills I need to wait until the fall.

Much Better Than Expected Receiving Corp.s
BillsWatch replied to Fried Baloney's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you are looking for a prior Bills WR for to aspire to in blocking it is not Moulds but Josh Reed who was also a 2nd round pick. He was one of the best WR blockers the Bills have had for a long time. I do hope he catches more balls and more TDs however and is not just a blocking WR. -
Byrd Skipping mandatory mini-camp

Agree you are lost. Not EVERYONE (your emphasis) agrees with this including you and Parker, his agent. He is NOT worth top paid safety in the league money IMO. If he WAS there would be offers from other teams agent would be leaking to press. it appears your goal is to 'trade him to a winner' (meaning non-Bills) which is not surprising given your previous posts on the Bills. -

Bills also can force issue when he comes back putting him in conditioning and other tests and if he fails declare him not fit to play if he waits too long IF they want to play hardball. Not fit to play - no year. -
Because the original owner of the thread has not closed it and it has spawned lots of side discussions so that is why it has been discussed ad nausea in other thread. Because: a. they do not want to do Bills negotiations for them and Bills can match b. he is not worth a 1st and 3rd draft pick AND the associated costs of signing Take your pick

Was this a Pilot Flying J? He may of thought he was showing sales potential.

Will Andre Reed remain a Hall of Fame snub? Robert Flores is joined by Mike Sando to discuss Hall of Fame snubs Appears that Robert Flores was one of the voters who wanted Carter first. http://espn.go.com/e...play?id=9469922 Steve Tasker also got a mention but Robert Flores is one of those who think special teams players not so important.

Was contracting at government site, Naval Research Laboratory, and we were told a number of the jobs were being eliminated in October because there was no need for positions since government employees could do those jobs. Was not really happy working there and started looking. Next week I had offer of contract position with stipulation client needed someone as soon as possible since person hired needed to do job transition with person leaving. I gave a one week notice on government site aware they may decide as they have done with others that if you give notice they might just cut your contract right there. I was told by government manager that I could not leave since I did not give two weeks notice and I was needed to finish project I was working on. I told manager I was already given notice of layoff hence no need to give notice and wasn't I told I was not needed? I agreed to complete the project but only if I could work after normal business hours something not normally allowed by contractors. Look for work immediately including other possibilities of working there via contractors.

Lucky they do not move the opening later or they will start discussing cheerleader outfits.

Jury: Website defamed Sarah Jones http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9470480/jury-thedirtycom-defamed-ex-cincinnati-bengals-cheerleader-sarah-jones This is not like me posting Hollywood Donahoe was spotted doing a Greek chain gang with Village People or he has been begging Tom Brady to let him wash his balls with his tongue. The publisher in this case choose what type of anonymous things to post on his website to drive up views.

Would You Rather Have Mario Or Byrd?
BillsWatch replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can't we trade rights to Byrd to Arizona and get Skelton or would Kolb's agent insist he will hold his breath and sit out? -

Some day this kind of thing will be accepted as acceptable just as other things which were once unacceptable like gay marriage. Question is will the animalphiles accept just acceptance or will they require equality and require marriage to become a right? -

Poll: Should the "Redskins" name be changed?
BillsWatch replied to Just in Atlanta's topic in Off the Wall Archives
What do the New England Patriots* fan club have to do with poll? Just because the guy on the left dresses up like some Boston Tea Party participant does not relate to thread. -

Washington "F" its has a nice ring to it. -
Article linked from SI site: http://buffalowdown.com/2013/07/10/kiko-b-ware-bills-linebacker-ready-to-make-immediate-impact/ I hope so but he needs to be smart enough to be in position and not faked out by QBs and sturdy enough that he can handle hits from players who will be determined to negate his impact to the game.

Jason Peters supposedly did not have leverage but was able to get new contact. It all depends on how hard Bills front office is going to defend their rights in contract players' representatives negotiated.
