Inability to stop the run: where's the problem?
BillsWatch replied to TPS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bannan was playing well the few times the camera was in his area even making it to backfield disrupting play. I can not recall seeing Sape. -
Who knocked the Jets player on his ass
BillsWatch replied to Thailog80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Reed was all over the field blocking; he was the man going left and right in backfield and was acting like he needed to knock over defenders to keep his job. Great game for him which shows you that individual stats do not mean everything. -
Reed was man in motion most of game and was blocking all around the field. For a team with no really good blockers at TE, he is a very good blocker.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut occasionallly Agree. Fans have gone to such extreme they are become anti-fans. I woulndn't go that far

Food no (it is allowed to bring food in as long as it is contained in clear bags) but things such as water yes. I had an IDENTICAL bottle of water that they sell inside WITHOUT the cap and they said no "security risk". It is DEFINITELY fiancially driven which is one of my objections (phony security). At least the airports don't say 'no you can not bring that nail clip inside and sell identical product in stores when you pass security gates. It is also regarding changing rules AFTER you buy a ticket. You bought it with certain considerations, NFL was talking internally about this policy but it did not reach light of day until after sales were done because they did not want to impact ticket sales. What if you bought a CD and then you were told after you bought it that you would need a special adaptor not normally needed or need to buy some software? You would ask for a refund, right? The NFL has gotten into the habit of changing conditions and expecting consumers to just live with it - an example is the moving of games to different times - and it should stop.

Kurt Shultz? Hot damn! If I was not going to NYC with Rich that weekend I might hafve made it, Thurman has really changed from the fire breather he was for the better. Let me know as usual if you want me to host pictures. -
Not private hence reasons like smoking rule bans apply. And if they change the rules after you buy the tickets then you have a case - bait and switch - and their are no refunds.

What's the real deal with Villarial sickness?
BillsWatch replied to GG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe he had a few too many garbage plates. -
We also lost Marcus Price who was the swing OT and made may games winnable IMO. We also lost Tucker. Too bad neither player is healthy enough to play and Bills went with a youth and retred movement.

Is Big Mike gonna play anytime soon?

Don't let facts prevent people from making tirades against players they do not like and players they did want signed in first place. -
I think Jack has taken over fat in "Health and Fitness" Forum.

Here is the new map on BuffaloBills.com (page very hard to use since it uses frames and a large header, looks like it is only for corporate people with large screens) : Lot 1 is #8 on map. http://www.ralphwilsonstadium.com/images/c...160_parking.jpg Notice how they spent money for a website ( http://www.ralphwilsonstadium.com/ ) just for the stadium? Marketing is learning new tricks! There is hope for them.

Bills sign DT in place of injured Edwards!
BillsWatch replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is probably a PS replacement for Sape. NOTE: Sape is on regular roster so they need a practice DT - it is replacing Sapster on PS not on team. -
Serenity - You have to see this movie!

Check out this review featured on Yahoo Movies: Don't listen to others..... Reality check people. ...... Everything else was horrible and extremely boring, my mom was falling asleep and I was looking for another theatre to sneak into. Most people do not bring their moms to Sci Fi movies. I thought he did needed her for the PG-13 rating but according to his profile he is 31. Why is a 31 year old bringing his mom to a movie? Maybe he is dilexic and reversed the two numbers. http://movies.yahoo.com/mvc/dfrv?mid=18085...QQpgawFHWFwKg-- And he is in sales. From his review I'd say he is a terrible salesman. 32 out of 718 found it useful. -
Camp do not forget to post a note in your "VA: Bills Backers of Virginia" thead on "Bills Backer's Forum" like I did for Jimmy's Annual Party in the Alley. Interesting that there will be so many big parties in VA this week - must be due to late game meaning more partying.

Well I always take of the day of my wife's birthday even if she is busy and I can do errands for her but to each his own. I on the otherhand like this year have birthdays when I never see my wife even when I am not travelling.

It is Lot 1, Pole 5. It used to be Pole 6 but they renumbered the Poles when Toyota became "Official sponsor of the garbage in the packing lot". It is near (on right when looking at fieldhouse) of fieldhouse. Map: http://members.cox.net/billswatch/buffalo/parking.gif I am not sure home much fun the pre-game party will be for girls though - not a lot goes on during most off-season games which would interest kids - but the fieldhouse should be fun for them. Last time we had a TRUE off-season event it was at Hammer's Lot for a 4:15 start of the Jets game. Cold day that day which meant many of us were huddled around the grill.

A Few Thoughts About The Game....
BillsWatch replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll feel the same way when Losman is QB. I have no problem with Losman just people who are fanatical to the extent that they attack coaching staff when they do something which is best for the team. They ruin it for everyone on the board and in fandom. If a player is not playing well or situation does not suit their skills/talents then put in the player who does. -

He and Ruben did not directly compete. Gandy played Tackle and Guard and was injured before Ruben came I recall, he was playing tackle I believe at time. New coach came in and he lost his position because new guy (not Ruben) had already been established and when you are a veteran they need to pay you more. Gandy will not be the next coming of Pace but like Mike Williams would be better if he did not have a player next to him who was terrible; Mike Willians game was upgraded (before he was injures) when Chris V. came in because he had someone next to him who could be depended upon. Hopefully next year we get a new LT and Gandy can be shifted to guard or be backup for Jerman IMO is terrible. -
You are right. In honor of Jim Kelly the defense ought to be renamed the "Gamblers". The problem with most gamblers is that they do not know when to quit. When you have a OC who knows how to exploit it and weapons to expoit it, it looks terrible - see Pittsburgh game last year. It worked this time because Frerotte is vulnerable to not taking care of the ball.

Why the switch was made at QB
BillsWatch replied to Blue Chipper's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nope not me, you are grouping me with someone else. Find one post where I bad mouthed Bledsoe saying that he should not be playing and Losman should. For that matter find one post where I labeled Losman the 2nd coming of Jim Kelly as some LOSers did. Too many fans go to extremes (too fanatically) calling for players to be cut in mid season and coaches and other personnel to be fired because some Losman definitely is not ready to start but few rookie QBs and that includes QBs who sat for a year first on the bench or on rehab table. I agree about the lines, especially the OL, but our OL has been terrible for a DECADE and it takes time to get it corrected. Maybe we should just have drafted prospect and not spend picks on QB but I will not 2nd guess people who have a lot more insight than me and did not home their football skills playing Madden. -

BillsWatch replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That shows you are not objective ... when someone was "cast off" the team which dared to sign the player you have labelled as washed up, it causes you to slant your view. It is like trying to talk to one of the fanatic LOSers why their golden child was benched. On almost any subject not related to Ruben in some manner you are objective but this is the arrow in the Achilles heal. -
Why the switch was made at QB
BillsWatch replied to Blue Chipper's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is too long. Can we just shorten the nicknames for those who look to cinspiracies why Losman was not playing to something short like LOSers? -
No for Peters is not a great run blocker. he seems to be able to catch well and able to get a load of steam and knock down smaller, lighter players but that is different than goal line stances where short bursts of power are needed.
