That is EXACTLY my point - his (Lewis's) kids did not go to DC public schools - he went to suburbian (I am not sure if they were MD or VA) schools but his wife complained about Buffalo public schools despite Erie County having as good schools as any area of the country. It was a way to let Lewis know he wanted more money than was on the table as a first time head coach. Notice that Fox, Lewis and MM were all first time head coaches and posters complain because the Bills signed a cooridinator rather than an experienced "name" head coach yet keep pointing to Fox and Lewis because their teams currently have winning records. The fans just want to complain. In the 1990's there were the battling Bills who fought each other and in the 2000's we have the bitching Buffalo fans who tear down the Bills fan support before they have a chance to rebuild and many of the same bitchers are the ones who said MM was doing a great job in 2nd half of last year. I did not expect the Bills to have a superbowl this year or even a winning season; it was too much to expect the gambling defense to win as many games nor to expect that the offense would solidify quickly enough. But I am not a Jets and I am not going to turn on the team and become an anti-fan (popularized by upChuck DICKerson) like many seem to have become.

Are we supposed to be a running or a throwing team? When not enough runs are called fans complain, when not enough long passes are called fans complain. When too many creative plays are called fans complain, when we run same type of plays we are too predictable, fans complain. Maybe fans just complain?

Bills need to leave a extra lineman or somebody in backfield. If they are going to stak the box with 8 it does not make much of a difference. The Bills ALSO need to prepared to shift gears like when Bills went from 3-4 to 4-3 and back WITHOUT someone on team feeling like talking about it to press.

Or Thurman and Kenneth Davis where each would get close to 100 yards? Or Beebe and Tasker with their end around runs? You do not need a lot of yards throwing (unless you play football using Madden) if your other weapons can come to the line of scrimmage.

Lewis's wife made comments BEFORE final decision was made after Lewis's agent sent a counteroffer regarding Buffalo's SCHOOLS being good enough NOT about race. Some callers to WGR did speculation on reasoning which was picked up in some "press" as "news" but it was supposedly about school quality. Lewis wanted a much larger contract which is why he hopped teams for one year to Redsucks. DC schools are MUCH WORSE than anything in WNY and their kids did not go to DC public schools so the whole school thing was just a ploy to get Lewis more $$$$$. He made comments afterwards that he was "worth" the money paid by the Redsucks and that Baltimore 'understood' why he took a lateral move.

I did not hate* either player but I was disappointed in both of them. Glad both are doing well after offseason work with experts but they should have done it season before. * Hate results in beatings from R. Gregg Williams was NOT fired. He was offered a one year extension during season and turned it down while rest accepted it and at end of contract he was not re-signed; which is why at end of year he had to ASK for some coaches he wanted. Repeat again GW was not fired. It is NOT the same thing as not being re-hired. There are learning curves for players, GMs, coaches and even posters.

Depends on how good of season tickets you have whether I agree or not. If I have a chance of getting good season tickets I'll agree that Sam Adams ought to be spokeperson for Jenny Craig and Rob Johnson was the best QB ever!

I don't ski and I rather live in Buffalo than Miami any day especially with same job! Miami's problems are very numerious - bad schools, large illegal immigrant population, crime, etc. WNY economic are bad, some self inflicted and some state inflicted, but if you are comfortably employed you can do very well. Unfortunately not enough work of my type there.

Winning is a matter of time, notes and bordom on road. Eating wasn't a problem. Ate a ring of slow digestion while polymorphhed. Did that a lot of rings which enabled me to have all kinds of special abilities. I felt almost as powerful as a mod. I won because I kept track of my corpses and when I found ghost levels I always knew what good stuff was stored in all of the boxes on level because I put them there! Always wished I could find a magic notebook in which I would be able to write down my inventories so I always knew what I had. One magic item I would create if I had input to it. Played rogue, hack, moria (sp?) and nethack throught college and for years afterwards. First program I installed on my laptop.

I nethack once after many, many deaths and hitting many, many ghosts of myself. I haven't played it since. I am a real oldtimer who remember when rogue first came out.
