Defense got tired after so many plays because offense could not complete their popgun plays. The defense and the winds kept the Bills into the 4th quarter and the Bills could not score enough points to win. Losman reminds me of another QB - Joey Harrington. I hope I am wrong.

You are so full of stevestojan you ought to have flowers planted in you.

Is Coaching the Real Problem?
BillsWatch replied to Pass the Pipe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Please do not mix facts with fiction. Marvin Lewis stated several times his 'reasons' for not being that interested in Buffalo job was the 'Buffalo (city) school system" and when Buffalo did not respond favorable with his comments his wife went on radio shows and said that Buffalo ought to up his offer to compensate for poor Buffalo schools. Marvin Lewis was not interested in Buffalo unless it was a big dollar contract - he made comments like he ought to be paid like a star coach rather than as a 1st time head coach. It was purely a money thing since Tom Donahoe unlike all of the OTHER GMs WHO ALSO PASSED SIGNING HIM was willing to wait for 2nd interview after Superbowl (NFL rule at time: one interview before Superbowl) and Lewis showed up unprepared and disinterested. -
Hopefully they will fire some of the Sports staff and editors for the work has been terrible for a while.

Roscoe Parris has fear of snow?
BillsWatch replied to BillsWatch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep I suspect it is Vincent pulling one on the rookie (not as funny as the one on Losman) hence my comment in the original post. I do think "Speedy Gonzales" will have to make some adjustments on running in snow though! -
RIP Noriyuki Morita. I really like his work in 'Ohara". Maybe it will come on DVD someday.

Guidelines for using the Trading Post
BillsWatch replied to Just Jack's topic in Bills Tickets and Gear
7) Please do not bump threads - yes you may have tickets for sale or want to but so do others. If items are still available after a month you may add a response that it is still available since default view setting is one month. If your tickets are not getting action either your price is wrong or the market is saturated. Try sending PMs to those matching your needs and see if you can generate interest. 8) Please do not post duplicate posts. Duplicate posts will be deleted and repeated duplicates may result in loss of posting privileges. 9) Please respond to replies of your posts. Lack of replies over a long period may be treated as tickets no longer available / wanted. Common courtesy is to delete a post (or report it to a moderator) when your ticket is no longer available or you no longer need tickets. 10) Commercial posts (ticket agencies, promoters, cruises, etc) do not belong on this board per guideline on main index page (No commercial advertisements please). Contact SDS via PM or Customer Service if you want to advertise these type of tickets. As Jack said TBD/TSW reserves the right to edit OR remove any/all posts. -
If things weren't going so well in your life
BillsWatch replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You have mispelled the number '2' as 'dozen' but otherwise I agree which is why I do not post much anymore. I posted a segment about Roscoe and snow and they started their same act attacking Donahoe for drafting him. The wall is no longer fun anymore. -
"Last week we got 18 inches of snow," Vincent said. "I'm outside cleaning off my mini-van and there is this truck that pulls up right beside me to pick up Roscoe Parrish. I'm looking over, and this truck has been sitting there for about 15-20 minutes. I'm wondering if Roscoe is coming out, if everything is okay, so I go over and I look at the blinds and I see some eyes looking through the blinds. I'm wondering what's wrong and they say that he won't come outside. I'm like, 'What do you mean he won't come outside?' and they say that he's scared of the snow. "Then it dawned on me that he's from Miami and it was the first time he'd ever seen snow. So his first sight of snow was 18 inches on the ground. He never came outside. If he has to play in it, he may not show up to the game. You wouldn't think that a person would respond that way, but he wouldn't come outside." http://www.buzzfans.com/sports/spcol2/stor...p-4847347c.html Do you think he could get his union rep (Vincent) to call for arbitration whether he needs to play in snow or has to be traded to a warm weather team due to his phobia?

Serenity - You have to see this movie!
BillsWatch replied to Fezmid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Too bad they reduced it AFTER I bought it. I bought the Serenity: The Official Visual Companion as well. -
Happy Birthday Ann Marie.

Paper bags, signs, silly calls for holdouts, and idiotic petitions have all been done before. What would REALLY make an impact is if some hothead would light himself on fire on the field. Of course that would be hard to understand so he needs to get his fellow hotheads to join with him and spell out on the field his message (spelling counts) using human torches. Considering some of the hot air on the board you may not need to even need alcohol (except for flavor) but be able to do it with spontaneous combustion! Everybody forget lesson from Marv Levy on listening to fans? "If I start listening to them," Levy explained, "the next thing you know I'll be sitting among them."

No need to worry about tickets - there are so many bridge jumpers the scalpers will be begging people to buy tickets.

Or at least part of it to help Saints attract players: NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue said the league hopes to release the Saints' schedule for next season in January, three months earlier than usual. Most New Orleans players contend that if the team can show it will be able to put down roots in one spot, free agents will consider signing with the team next season. "Regardless of what's happening and what's taking place this year, if we just know where our home is going to be next year I don't think it will be tough for us to sign free agents," defensive back Dwight Smith said. "Just for you to know where you're going to be for a full year would help." http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2227717 Oh and before anyone asks no we do not play the Saints next year (future schedule). Depending on Saints schedule it might help eliminate some possibilities IF NFL releases it like they are hoping.

If we all lived in a welfare state which gave money to all of the crazy residents, life would be soooo much better.

During a demonstration of a heavy-lifting robot that can carry a person weighing up to 220 pounds, the machine appeared to want to dump its cargo - a model in a leather miniskirt and calf-high boots posing for TV cameras. Oh Jun-ho, director of the government-funded Humanoid Robot Research Center, blamed the error on the computer used to control the robot. It was running Microsoft Corp. (MSFT)'s Windows operating system, which Oh said wasn't always very stable. Not to be outdone, Albert Hubo chipped in with a chuckle to break the tension. http://apnews.myway.com//article/20051117/D8DTSJQG0.html Who should be blamed? The company which made the computer software or the people who CHOOSE the operating system KNOWING it is faulty?

(LAMP) - I saw Mike Mularkey tonight
BillsWatch replied to JoeFerguson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nah he wasn't drunk on moonshine thinking he got 400 yards when Larry Johnson got less than a third of those yards behind a good OL although I did hear some "Bills' fans" complaining at the airport about the number of yards he got and that MM would have been canned AT THE GAME if he got more than 200 yards. The Green Bay fan next to me asked if those two idiots were with me and I told them "No" they just stole the hats they were wearing from some kids at the game. -
Will LT break Jamel Lewis's Record next week
BillsWatch replied to marck's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am expecting Crow to slam him to the turf so hard that Mike Stratton's crash into San Diego RB Keith Lincoln will become an afterthought in football but whatever probabilities you want to have on Bills being destroyed are fine in your thoughts. I only try to think those kind of thoughts AFTER they occur otherwise WHY watch other than to be an anti-fan? I'd rather consider your suggestion AFTER I was trashed. -
From what I can see Bills fans see their team as two games out of last, think that they SHOULD be in last but zebras game Bills games to make front office and our players look better and are hoping for a 7 game losing streak so they can sign petitions to burn at bonfires at the Ralph. Bills ought to take down "12th man" sign from wall and put it above beer sales or in bathrooms - it does not belong on Wall of Fame.

Both Bannan and Denney were pressuring Green which forced the interceptions. Both did a great job. Bannan has also visibly bulked up - Sam Adams Light diet?

Thank you for your tirade-free post AKC. Posts like this are one of the few reasons why I come back to the board anymore.

The ceremony, formally called The Happiness & Fun Fair to avoid offending conservatives [What is wrong with offending conservatives? I think it is fun! ] who think "marrying" animals is undignified, started on a hot and murky morning in Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra's home town. http://reuters.myway.com//article/20051109...-PANDAS-DC.html What a way to 'go into heat'.

BillsWatch replied to Fezmid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just got my Serenity DVDs from Amazon. $30 including free postage. Looking forward to watching series in sequence next time I have a day off. -
You mean he is better than JP already? Not too bad for someone not even on a roster!
