One problem with Ted besides his age and health regarding coming back - his agent Wright who has been nothing but trouble for Bills. Ralph is like an elephant - long memory and a nose to long with a tendancy for getting into things - and unless he has a personal relationship with him like some of the players may say no.

Count Riemersma as one of many who was VERY bitter

Steve Christie is another player I'd add to the long list. He gets injured (minor but keep him out for a few games) and Donahoe wants to IR him so he can come back after week 10 and when he refuses he cuts him. Just badly handled. Eathan Albright was another player who Donahoe cut and tried to get to vome back later but would have nothing to do with him. I'll remember him for the good he did just like I do John Butler despite how the big three was cut. I'll also remember all of those on the wall who talked about getting a Donahoe jersey calling him their MVP. Levy I think will let players know in person when they are cut not letting them hear it in the news. -
As long as the bag heads are going to DEMAND that Jauron have a winning season than the Bills coaching staff is going to try to win next year even if the idol of the bag heads is not starting. You can only support developing a QB when fans will support the team; unlike other cities the Bills do not have lots of revenue streams other than ticket, concession (they need to cut back on beer sales due to the idiots) and jersey sales. A new QB would increase jersey sales.
-
Maybe they want new fans and want the Jerk Nation to go elsewhere? Price increase is no big deal; a lot of them are sold by scalpers who will just pass the cost on. And the new coach, despite the attempt by some fans and media outlets to portray it otherwise, is not that unpopular. Sherman didn't even get another interview and he was the whiners' favorite.

Pittsburgh game was great especially if you had a Pittsburgh fan with you and seeing someone with something invested in game. Most of those listening to the games via the internet " sites have a free trial so save the coins, sign up and cancel. -
Well if he moves to Buffalo I can hook him up with my brother-in-law in West Seneca who is one of the best in the business. But it looks infinitely better now than Jimmy Johnson's perm.

You are right Art but a lot will disagree including those who act like she described in the article. And she did not paint with a broad brush all Bills fans but those who DO act like those in the article will try to make it appear so to give them cover. Exactly. The season ticket holders who buy 100 extra tickets when season ticket sales open before individual tickets and then sell them to ticket agency who sell them to opposing fans are not Bills fans. One season ticket holder I knew justified it as a way to pay for his tickets. I have been to Jets and Baltimore games and have never been harrassed. -
Culpepper on block soon.

Willis has NOTHING to brag about with his performance last year. Plenty of 5th and 6th round draft picks performed better than him and Bills did not need to pay out a full season of pay to rehab nor deal with Rosenass. -
Oh and for "safety" reasons no one can walk to the stadium on the taxpayer paid for roads - you either need to pay exorbant amount for parking or pay for a shuttle bus. He even sued a private lot which was dropping off fans from that lot. Many of the "sold out" seats are from people who have not gone for years or only go for one or two games a year and just use the seats as a item to talk about in business. No way would I want $nyder or his Buffalo clone owning the team!

Intresting tidbit from Prisco re MM
BillsWatch replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Almost all of the defense staff was let go and Gray let word out that he was out as DC (until he realized he could pad his resume with an interview for HC position) so it makes sense that there was a conflict between Mularchy and Gray; the Bills were trying to create conditions such that Mularchy would stay but could revamp defense. Personally the coaching problems appeared to be at top - DL coach, LB coach, DB coach were fine but Gray had planned poorly so they cut some good coaches which might have wanted to be retained by new HC but left in coaches like conditioning coach who was Mularchy's cronie. -
Schedule is released in spring, usually April. Orchard Park is 35.3 mi (about 46 mins) from Niagara Falls, ON not counting customs. Orchard Park is 34.4 mi (about 39 mins) from Niagara Falls, NY.

I absolutely would rather Ralph own the Bills rather than $nyder. $nyder is an owner who brought in over-the-hill players just so he could take pictures with them and take them to parties. $nyder is the owner who decided to start selling admission to training camp allowing other teams to set up scouts in practices despite his front office warnings. He brought his favorite college coach in to replace Marty and Marty had just turned around team; the team immediately went into a spiral. $nyder is CONSTANTLY sticking his nose into front office, with press, etc unlike Ralph. If $nyder bought the Bills I'd change teams.

Darin isn't right (other than far right) very often but when he is right, he is absolutely right. WGR is the joke.

Listen to his press conference after loss. He had plenty of emotion -
Make a change in 'throwback' uniforms enough to satisfy marketing people (i.e. Buffalo logo on sleeves or colar) so they can sell the new uniforms but get rid of that horid 5 color combination. Make sure stripes and helmet match as well. I have no problem if the go with current dark blue, red and white but two shades of blue and a gray? Please!

Pet Peeve: Does this grate on anyone else?
BillsWatch replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You seem to be too smart to be a Bills fan. I have been making this argument since Donahoe got here and Marv Levy was saying it before me. If they a 'good GM' and a 'bad GM' hire 2 - just be smart enough not to break cover. -
Past events:Bills NOT doomed by waiting on HC
BillsWatch replied to Fake-Fat Sunny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
TD did not 'seem' to be primarily motivated by wanting to hire an HC who couldn't fire him like Cowher did but some have chosen to run with the same old line over and over again and sometimes even change posting alias after their lines get old. -
African American Interviews for Bills HC

The problem is the league said that Norman Chow WASN'T qualified as a minority and there are Asian players in the league. The rule is bogus because it does not state what it truely is. -
NFL will not allow it. A full year notice must be given so the various people can approve it.

He can have Halliburton buy the team from Ralph and sell it to him for a song before he moves it to Wyoming, Texas.

Jerry Gray is rather presumptuous
BillsWatch replied to OnTheRocks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gray uses a "gambling" defense which depends on interceptions and fumbles caused by defense to give it decent stats. The gambling defense can be exploited by better offenses and requires players who fit the defense which can be expensive. I would not recommend Gray as DC because what you want is a DC is someone who matches up well to better offenses and adjusts the defense to take away a teams best plays and I do not think he is that creative. Our former DC and HC Wade is better at that and I believe is available.
