  1. Didn't he play for same coach previous year when he was considered a star? Or did the DB coach brought in from Patriots teach him that?
  2. Sam Adams in not capable of being the nose tackle in a 3-4 defense and is certainly not the player you build your defense around. He is barely able to play DT in a 4-3 formation 2 out of 3 downs.
  3. If Ralph was truely cheap he would refuse to allow head coaches to bring in newcoaches unless they could guarentee coaches who were replaced would have their salary will be paid elsewhere. A lot of fans wanted Ralph to pony up for that Florida coach $purrier who $nyder paid $5M a year for and coached only two years despite being paid for 5. Money DOES NOT automatically equal quality. Ralph probably is willing to pay less than some fans want him to but a lot of fans want to pay less Ralph wants them to on tickets, concessions, parking, etc. Each need to manage their own money their own way.
  4. Maybe NFL as a unit ought to declare Texas A&M as undraftable. That would certainly reduce the quality of their players.
  5. Incorrect. You need to pay Amortized Bonuses ($1,042,500) regardless but what are you are meaning to say is that it will be a larger cap HIT if Bills cut or trade JP. This is a common mistake when talking about cap - it does not cost more to cut/trade a player but cutting him accelerations year bonus is paid. There is a difference but fortunately NFL cap people understand this. Besides a million dollar hit to revamp a team's direction is peanuts to a cap going up to (rumored) $95 million.
  6. The games will also be shown by local broadcasters in the markets where they are being played. So this only means fans who do not live in broadcast areas will lose out.
  7. They can't. They need to compete with colleges for coaches and colleges are paying coaches boatloads since they do not need to pay players.
  8. I'd go with Clump's numbers. He has history of accurancy: Cornerback Franchise $5,893,000 Transition $4,774,000 2006 Franchise and Transition Players http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/showthread.php?t=91417
  9. Lester turned down the job. Made comments favorable to Buffalo and said no thank you.
  10. It is a deserved honor but Moorman did NOT have his best season; his best season was last year and he is just getting recognition now. Mike Schneck's performance helped Lindell's kicking however. Schneck made Lindell look like a probowler (Lindell's offseason work helped) but Moorman made more big plays last year.
  11. Hello, Glenn -- I am an editorial writer with The Buffalo News and I am trying to find former New Yorkers who moved out of the state for better economic opportunities. If you can give my e-mail address or phone number to anyone who would be interested in talking with me, I would appreciate it. Thanks for your help. Sincerely, Kevin Walter Editorial Writer The Buffalo News If anybody is interested send me a PM and I'll give you e-mail/phone number.
  12. If you haven't banned the poster for a week you have a higher tolerance for idiots than I do. I was a bit surprised about it despite reading that Smallville and the new Superman movie will be in continuity which is going to be in continuity with first great Christopher Reeve Superman movie. I do not see how it is possible too many things are different (Lois has seen Clark and kryptonite is found like 7 Elevens.
  13. He was a LB coach when the Bills had a LB coach promoted to DC. He is an expert at film breakdown and no matter what title he has been given, he has continued the same role. He does not seem to care about title very much as long as he can do his job. I spoke to him at camp once and he seemed like one of those people who like to stay low profile.
  14. It is a joke of a site and that picture proves it. P.S. Firefox is great at stopping the popups and with plugin ads as well for those who insist on reading that trash.
  15. Probably considering whether he wants to get involved with Buffalo at all considering some of the bone headed (sub teacher, signs on lawn) stunts and press Buffalo has.
  16. I was very shocked when I heard it but that was the word he used. It was a radio interview when he was going to NYC and maybe it wasn't wide spread broadcasted but that is what he said. I thought he was just talking about Donahoe until he said "they".
  17. Yeah. Ted was very mad after being turned down for head coach position and made comments about Ralph and Tom D. and front office saying "they" were racist. I heard it on a radio interview. Ralph is like an elephant - he has a sharp memory and a long nose always geting into trouble; I do not know if he will forgive that remark.
  18. I agree. He has learned that he is not head coach material. Only way he becomes head coach is if his head coach is canned and he becomes interim head coach.
  19. I just checked mine and I have not checked it in months. No spam, no mail at all. I used to get one bunch of spam regularilly from one source which I think was the provider but they gave up on that. Oh and I have popup blocking and I just got a popup.
  20. Ted has some very bad remarks when he left and called Ralph and Tom Donahoe racists.
  21. He is a three year of contract so Bills would need to sign a long term contract at decent price first couple of years. Bills game will depend on defense not offense next couple of years until OL is built up. Dumb as calling a drafted player undrafted? Seventh round pick, Position: 36 http://www.nflpa.org/Members/playerProfile.asp?ID=37279
  22. Isn't that how Head Coaches and GMs are judged? By the number of wins their team has? So many people have judged Jauron already and many, many of them are the same ones who want to give a free pass to Losman. Winning is more important - that is how they decide who is good - and if Losman is not capable of learning other by playing as a losing QB then the Bills need to go another direction. Build the OL (which any QB can use), build up the defense so even a team with a so-so QB can win and then worry about developing a better QB.
  23. Good for him but he was given the option to not serve (go reserves I believe) and he said 'No, I am going to serve my commitment'. Always made me think well of him. Oh and another thing Fermid covered was Ruben did NOT get a penality a game; some bozo on a radio started saying that and it caught on although it was not true.
