  1. http://www.nfl.com/draft/profiles/2006/whitner_donte Whitner is a junior who came out early for the NFL draft and is one of the better safeties available. Is a very good athlete with the natural explosiveness and playing speed to fly to the ball to make plays from sideline to sideline. Plays with the attacking, aggressive style that is hard to find, and it enables him to consistently play bigger than his size. Flies up in run support. On passes in front of him, will bend knees, get low and drive up into the ball carrier to make the hard hit. Is a versatile safety that has experience lining up in a variety of different alignments, which will offer his team the opportunity to move him around and use a variety of different defenses without having to substitute personnel. Overall, Whitner is probably going to slip lower in the draft than his production warrants, but it is due to his lack of size. He is going to be a good all-around starting safety in the NFL who consistently makes plays all over the field, against the run and the pass. Additionally, he will be a very good special teams player in the NFL. I underlined a couple of sentences from the NFL profile. This is a fit to Tampa Nay Cover 2 defense. Think of him as a Winfield playing safety. Bggest problem is going to be big TEs and WRs.
  2. 18th Anniversary on May 1. My wife does not make a big deal of it but I think she would prefer I stay home.
  3. Leif Larsen did NOT play two mediocre years - he just started to get the game and was starting to make plays but then got hurt and got lost in shuffle. Not every UDFA or late round pick can turn out to be a Pat Williams.
  4. I thought it was a guide to draft BEER but thanks anyways. I don't know enough about college football to use a college draft guide.
  5. For this late of an opener? More likely mittens. One of the ticket girls in the short tops? Don't you remember?
  6. Labatts Field at Molsons stadium with Guiness fieldhouse Better yet have an ebay auction (with a minimum of course) and rule that large percentage has to be paid first year (signing bonus) in case company goes bankrupt.
  7. Seats are not determined yet but usually are in uppers somewhere between 20 yard lines. There have been attempts to get them lower but combining number of tickets we need and the tickets available those are the best Jay can usually get.
  8. Is College Park going to have their tradional riot to celebrate or will they not do it for women teams?
  9. I guess Cleveland's coach doesn't see value in scrimmage with Bills: The annual Browns scrimmage with the Buffalo Bills, which was scrapped last year by Crennel, will not resume. Crennel said he would be open to listening to offers, but so far has no plans to scrimmage another team in training camp. http://www.cleveland.com/browns/plaindeale...ll=2&thispage=3 A mistake in my opinion. How else are they going to produce such classic T-shirts as "Young Guns" with Rob Johnson and Tim Couch?
  10. Thinking you can hibbity-jibbity her anytime YOU want is leading cause for divorce. You can hibbity-jibbity her whenever SHE wants. I'd go slightly under asking price with normal clauses. Bought both my houses that way and real estate agents recommended I offer asking price. Anything not up to code HAS to be fixed (i.e. wiring) but it is the other things which can catch you. Watch out what comes with property and what doesn't. Local houses are extremely overpriced and being taxed at an even higher rate because they average sales to determine tax rates but there have been a number of newer houses which are part of our tax area which have had skyrocketing resales forcing all of our assessments higher. It is not fair and the neghboorhood group fought it but of course they lost. Oh and tax assessor lives in one of those houses which inflated our assessments.
  11. Nate will probably sign with agreement that if he signs Bills promise to not franchise him again and give his agent right to look for trades that Bills can agree with. It is the type of compromise Marv would look for.
  12. Marv would probably be promoted to GM and if an internal candidate can not be found from all of the VP's, an outside GM will be brought in.
  13. I got a tape with all three shows on it taped LP. I could ship it to you for cost of tape and shipping.
  14. If they didn't the French would sell them something; the Iranians have been complaining a long time about US not selling spare parts despite supposedly having a contract requiring it. All the US can do is stay ahead of the curve.
  15. Nate had a chance to extend but turned it down. He said he wanted to be paid as if he was best CB in NFL to extend and he isn't. He is worth tagging because he will need to work hard for 2006 season to get the money he wants but he is NOT worth signing "best CB in NFL" money. And if Nate gets injured he can kiss all of that jack he would have gotten on an extension goodbye!
  16. Lots of people are oversold on JP. But the NFL needs stars to sell sport.
  17. $nyder cares about my opinion as he does about the bugs he picks out of his teeth and hair!
  18. He has NOT shown himself to a good RT - running ability of OL plumented when he started and that is supposed to be the strong side.
  19. I'b been saying that for 6 months. $nyder wants it to become like baseball with A and C class clubs.
  20. Actually he was cut and re-signed and sent to NFL Europe. The problem is if he is successful in NFL Europe it means he plays a lot and is worn out and if he isn't then he will not likely be successful with Bills.
  21. I'd be very unhappy. Milloy is far over paid and we do not need another older, overpaid player.
  22. GW choose Gilbride. TD's problem was NOT putting more oversite over GW's pick of coaches.
