  1. Miami envy. No wonder Viagra is official drug of NFL.
  2. http://www.nfl.com/draft/tracker#tab:dt-by-team|team-buf Needs Analysis: Having lost two players in free agency to a unit that was already somewhat supsect, the Bills have a major need at the tight end position. They did add backup Courtney Anderson, but could still use a young pass-catching tight end to give second-year QB Trent Edwards a reliable target in the middle of the field. The Bills also could use a talented possession receiver to go along with speedster Lee Evans and a backup RB to compliment Marshawn Lynch. Defensively, the Bills are still looking for a suitable replacement for [CB] Nate Clements who they lost last year in free agency. They lost a veteran but he did not produce that much as a runner. They also have plenty of possession WRs but no scoring one which is very different.
  3. With all the time you would figure he could figure how to post in right forum.
  4. The Faiders tried but could not come to a deal; they tried telling their pick they were willing to look elsewhere but the agent did not believe them. If OT Jake Long does not negotiate a contract ahead of time they ought to pick DE Chris Long or trade the pick. This way when they are drafting for #1 pick next year they will have agents believe them when they say sign or not be picked #1.
  5. http://fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/46117 NFL rejects Rams throwbacks Posted: Monday April 07, 2008 06:47AM ET Plans to have the Rams wear "throwback" uniforms in their 2008 regular-season opener were scuttled when the NFL turned down the club's request. Multiple sources told the Post-Dispatch that the Rams wanted to wear their 1999 uniforms -- the season the team defeated Tennessee in the Super Bowl. New owner Chip Rosenbloom confirmed that those were the plans last week at the NFL owners meetings in Florida. Odds are they would not look any more favorable to Bills wearing throwbacks permanently.
  6. Do scars count? My head has been described as looking like a mine field from all of the surgeries I have had. No tattoos or piercings or any of that new age stuff and I am under 50.
  7. Adelphia went out of business because of mismanagement; outside analysts said they were not making enough and Time Warner did want to make the same mistake.
  8. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3333818 Garrard and his agent, Albert Irby, had been seeking something similar to the six-year, $67.5 million contract Dallas quarterback Tony Romo signed last season. I know cap dollars are not worth as much as they used to be but this is ridiculous. Garrard has only started majority of games 2 seasons and has equivalant of three years experience.
  9. I think the NFL is wrong. Why would most people care about NFL offseason and there are a lot who do not care enough to watch cable tv football during regular season? I also think the same about all of the speciality channells - golf, religion, etc. but it is hard enough to prevent price creep no matter who you have as a provider - cable, fiber or satellite.
  10. I know it is early but since it is the offseason it is the time to update pages. Due to a recent hard drive failure, significant data was lost in the Bills Backers Pages. It appears all of the data from 2007 was lost. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showforum=5
  11. The problem was the Bills peaked too early in that game. The players fed on the energy from the crowd but at the end they already were burnt out a bit.
  12. Thanks for the update. A friend of mine went thru something similiar and I told hm that I knew someone who had a similiar problem and his boy is fine. His boy is okay too now.
  13. Holgren is retiring soon and they are not going to bring in a QB recovery project.
  14. Then mods there are not doing a good job.
  15. My guess is Human based Cylons are made by copying/cloning real people including memories. In case he was substituted for original between wars.
  16. How much did he pay Troy Vincent? Exactly as I feel. Not worth the electrons published on.
  17. I think another Austin Powers is a really dumb idea so that is not encouraging.
  18. Depends how good her hygene is. 2 months should be enough for cleanup in middle aisle.
  19. It appears they are unknown to both types of Cylons for if they weren't Boomer would realize she was shagging a Cylon at one point and Tyrol's child would also be recognized as being half-human and half-Cylon. Previously Encounterd Cylons #6 Tricia Helfer is Number Six #8 Grace Park is Lt. Sharon 'Boomer' Valerii #5 Matthew Bennett is Aaron Doral #3 Lucy Lawless is D'Anna Biers #? 21. Best show on Television in my opinion; I have been taping the series this week trying to refesh my memories for clues for this season. As revealed on last episode of last season: Four more cylons are revealed: Chief Petty Officer Galen Tyrol, Colonel Saul Tigh, jock Samuel Anders and political advisor Tory Foster and this does not make sense to me yet unless the others are unknown to other models. Tyrol, Tigh, and Anders were the leaders in the resistance on New Caprica, the cylons were desperately trying to stop it and all it would do to sop it would be to awake the sleepers to stop the revolt. And one more of the humans is a cylon as well. Lots of candidates but not many good ones. Tom Zerek is my guess for final cylon although it could be the doc, someone else or even Adama's 2nd son who died and comes back as surprise.
  22. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?sectio...&id=3326841 In addition, any direct snap from center that is untouched by the quarterback now will be a live ball; in the past it was considered a false start and the play was blown dead. Good rule I think - bad snap and you need watch out for ball.
  23. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3327555 Favre's agent shoots down report of comeback Brett Favre's agent has shot down a published report that the Green Bay Packers quarterback, who announced his retirement last month, could be weighing a comeback with another team. But Cook, asked about the report, told ESPN, "That is absolutely false. Absolutely false, and you can quote me on that."
  24. NFL picks schedule for preseason now not teams.
