  1. I saw an article talling about Packers and 14th pick but only found it in cache and could not find link ti original article and then saw the CBS one and assumed it was the same one but I guess it isn't. Still talks about WRs being a crap shoot.
  2. http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/10792157/1 A Journal Sentinel survey of 18 personnel people asking them to rank the wide receivers on a 1-to-5 basis (five points for a first-place vote, etc.) revealed little or no consensus. No fewer than five players received a first-place vote, led by Thomas with 10, Hardy and Kelly with three and Jackson and Texas' Limas Sweed with one. "But you've got to pick somebody," said Tom Modrak, Buffalo's vice president of college scouting. "It is a flamboyant bunch. I don't know what causes it." If it and the WRs are so shallow for Green Bay how much worse it for Bills at 11?
  3. There is also a list they can add him to which will not make him eligible to play at all this year but it makes teams very unpopular among players and agents. I do not have a link since it was discussed last year but I think with 4 years on a contract left the Bengals would be willing to that extreme. Any team should be hesitant to sign him to any contract with a large bonus.
  4. Most people think ProFootballTalk is the purest of the pure BS.
  5. Haven't heard it but glad if it was true since many of those tickets bought in large groups go to scalpers who sell to other teams. I have no objection to fans of other teams buying tickets but Bills fans ought to get shot first (I do count those who buy blocks of tickets for sclapers to pay for their season tickets as "Bills fans").
  6. They do need help and some in Bills media is trying very hard to get them to move so they can say "I told you so".
  7. The number 9 best draft class of all-time belongs to the 1985 Buffalo Bills. http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80222c9b Video gallery Polian, Bruce Smith, Frank Reich, Andre Reed highlights. Also on NFL Network tonight at 4am 4:00 AM NFL REPLAY Week 7: Baltimore Ravens vs. Buffalo Bills (10/21/07) - Behind a strong defensive performance the Bills hold on to defeat the Ravens despite Willis McGahee's season - high 114 rushing yards.
  8. Wrote a check and will be mailed tomorrow for one. Very surprised that I actually did it so soon rather than 1 week before the game.
  9. I have a Virgin Mobile Oystr but I rarely use it and have it mostly for when I travel. Phone cost $20 - discount coupon at Radio Shack and I pay $15 every three months and that all goes toward $.18 per minute phone calls. Still have $51 and change credit next three month payment is due anyday now. Spend most of the minutes I do clearing off junk calls in mail box. Cell phones will not become a necessity of life if I have anything to do with it.
  10. Those who want to pay for it do. No others should have to pay for it.
  11. The players get large upfront "bonuses" as part of those contracts which is why the contracts are structured that way. Personally the league ought to turn them into pariahs and let them sit for a few years but their is always one owner or two who is too greedy to do that.
  12. If they were smart they would make the draft last a week, one round a day. They would still get the first day hype, have a second day hype as well and it would give more time for negotiations, leaks, etc the entire week.
  13. I do not recall who exactly pissed her off. It was Donahoe I think during period where he made people take down signs. I really liked her wallpapers. If you are looking for a Bills Calendar/Planner I have one as usual every year. http://members.cox.net/billswatch/2008_Buf...s_Calendar.html I am still tweaking it but it is printable in both portrait and landscape mode.
  14. Moose (Gina) used to make wallpapers for BuffaloBills.com but they pissed her off and has not been making them for about two years so it is no surprise you can not find decent wallpapers. Sorry I have none to share.
  15. So what do about all of those out of state conventioners who want to have conventions in Texas? I am sure they are like some "member clubs" some of the service men went to in NC where they would just enter ids of regulars who gave them copies of their ids to support them.
  16. Stupidity ought to encouraged. Design a big arena with sharp spikes with fatal poisons, automated trucks and trains, etc and have tropheys for most stupid. Have walls with their names and pictures on it. Eliminate as many stupid people from the gene pool.
  17. It makes a BIG difference if it is your choice or being involuntarily extended yes. I did not say it was only factor. Lots of vets are worried about families at home paying bills.
  18. Sorry if it is not worth my effort to go back two years.
  19. Link from two years ago? Go search for it yourself.
  20. Linky Worky http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/24188146/ And going to Buffalo to avoid drink is like going to Miami to avoid coke.
  21. JP was all against competition when he was the designated starter but now he feels differently. No surprise with athletes.
  22. Talk about a first class ball licking! Most of the readers did not rate it very high either. http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/24139010/?pg...ed_10intriguing http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/24139010/ List of 10 games: • Week 1 - Redskins at Giants • Week 3 - Jags at Colts • Week 5 - Pats at 49ers • Week 6 - Giants at Browns • Week 8 - Colts at Titans • Week 9 - Steelers at 'Skins • Week 10 - Packers at Vikings • Week 12 - Pats at Dolphins • Week 14 - Pats at Seahawks • Week 17 - Cowboys at Eagles
  23. Both the Vietnam War and The Second Iraq War are type of wars which will create these type of problems. The service people are fighting an entrenched hidden foes, their "supporters" there have hidden agendas and are willing to switch sides while we are providing the weapons, they are in many cases being forced to go / be extended in combat zone and there are lots of medical issues due to environment. Very depressing unless you are making hundreds of thousands as a contractor.
  24. There are a billion reasons to disagree. http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/24188467/ "I intend to develop our stadium project that meets all of the NFL requirements, and more," Roski said at a Staples Center news conference, where stadium models and artist renditions were displayed. "Always the most important thing has been the certainty of doing this. A team is not going to commit to coming to Los Angeles without a stadium. We've taken this one point of uncertainty and made it a certainty. The stadium is a certainty and it will be built." "Absolutely no taxpayer dollars," he said. "There's no taxpayer dollars to get." There are of course billions of reasons why it will not of course. BTW in this article the Bills are not mentioned. New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars, Minnesota Vikings and San Diego Chargers are.
  25. I wonder what the odds are in Las Vegas for team moving to LA is?
