  1. Not yet - Bills probably offered him an incentive based contract and he wanted guaranteed one
  2. Similiar to Christie except he got injured in practice after last preseason game
  3. The question was skewed as if it was written by Mickey Mouse blaming holdout on team (small budget team) rather than player. Reword it to "Should Buffalo give Peters another contract, third in short time he has been in Buffalo, despite holding out all season and not showing if he has recovered from injury last year?' and answer would be different.
  4. This is a Emmitt Smith type of injury - how heroic he is if he plays but it is not his fault if they lose or he sits because he is not playing well.
  5. Usually contract negotiations last a long time because parties start with too far apart and that by the time they get close it goes too far on a season. If the agent didn;t start with a Mickey Mouse over priced contract request then something would have been done. Better to have clauses to increase pay under certain conditions rather than trying to eat entire pie at once.
  6. No the NFLPA Mickey Mouse laywer will rule against the Bills despite him having a contract that the Bills "can not prevent him from earning a living."
  7. Exactly right. Compare the billions paid for Hurricanes to the relatively minisule amount paid for snow storms and you will understand why there is so much movement south - if people had to absorb costs proportionally they would no longer find living in the South as economical.
  8. I do not believe you get compensation picks for UDFAs no matter how much work a team does to develop player. And teams should not overpay for ANY player, even a Mickey Mouse move with a player with a three year contract remaining and has not been seen in camp to see if fully recovered from season ending surgery.
  9. I'm up for Danny's or wherever everybody else wants to meet . I am either driving in town Friday or Saturday, not sure which, but will be in by dinner time.
  10. Only a cup watcher or someone with very lame sense of humor would say that.
  11. You are implying that Bill and Mickey Mouse are same poster. I know Mickey is an imaginary person but Bill is not.
  12. Bills Murphy ready to return from shoulder injury http://timesunion.com/AspStories/story.asp?storyID=716814 Buffalo Bills reserve tackle Matt Murphy expects to be cleared to resume practicing next week after electing not to have season-ending surgery to repair a partially torn left rotator cuff. Not only that, Murphy said after practice Monday that he's preparing to fill a dual role: splitting time at his former position, tight end. Entering his seventh NFL season, Murphy played tight end before the Bills converted him to tackle midway through last year. Murphy has been out for a month since being hurt during a training camp practice. He's spent the past two weeks strengthening his shoulder and has put off having surgery until the offseason. Murphy was particularly grateful of the faith the Bills showed in him by keeping him on their active roster after making their final cuts last weekend. Four games he has has played according to NFL.com: http://www.nfl.com/players/mattmurphy/profile?id=MUR518794 What has he shown to make the team?
  13. Closing is more important than opening at least for those who think mornings ought to start in afternoon. No idea where I am sitting yet - the Foxy lady will be telling me.
  14. They are NEVER happy except being unhappy bitches so let them be unhappy so they are happy!
  15. The website is maintained by a company in Chicago and is often out of date. Sometimes they have had glaring mistakes (i.e. score wrong) which would never happen if maintainer had interest in Bills.
  16. They are trying very hard to get me to cancel TV and just rent videos. Only remaining new shows I watch will be Burn Notice and Eureka once Battlestar Galactica and SGA ends.
  17. Think he will wait until week 10 then report to get one year of service. He will not be in shape and not be available for several weeks. Will not be invited to Pro Bowl.
  18. Shaun Bryson last played in 2006 and is a motivational speaker now http://www.footballspeakers.com/h/index.ph...me=Shawn-Bryson
  19. Yep it is unfortunate for Petered out that he was nominated for the probowl and then got injured; he can have a crying session with Andre Reed about contracts. It would be Mickey Mouse stupid to sign him to another extension when Bills have not even seen he was able to recover.
  20. The reason they moved the game was TV ratings not attendees. They do not care about no shows as long as people pay as a number of teams have season ticket holders who some years do not attend but keep season tickets to preserve seats (i.e. Deadskins).
  21. Corto is listed as a safety; that is just one person's opinion. It may not matter since he may play special teams only.
  22. They will probably bring in a 6th offense lineman to help in some situations.
