  1. He could be Coach of the Year and some would make the same lame comments. Some Chicago fans did so in fact when he was there and he did.
  2. Seahawks had chance to have both Moorman and Lindell; Lindell used to play for them. Imagine the stats of those two players playing in a dome?
  3. And Tackling. Moorman and Lindell are not worried about getting their uniforms dirty. Moorman even went blocking a DE once on special teams and he looked at him "What do you think you are doing?" but he still knocked him down.
  4. Patriots* probably just decided the best thing to do was give their young players experience even if it hurts season chances and next year just take higher draft picks.
  5. Nice article by Seattle opposing press on Bills. http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/printer2/ind...html?source=rss Returns are nice, but what has helped separate the Bills' special teams from the pack and made them arguably the bellwether unit in the NFL over the past several seasons has been their thorough, aggressive and trick-laden attack. They outthink and outwork the competition. Special teams coach Bobby April isn't afraid to use anyone or try anything. Moorman's pass attempt, the first touchdown throw by a punter since Josh Miller's on Dec. 28, 2003, was the sixth of his career. A former college track star, Moorman has 11 career carries, including four last season.
  6. He used to play for Seattle and they made very little effort to sign him again when his contract expired. Not only did he kick 2 FGs (too bad on blocked one), he recovered a blow kick by kick catcher and was part of the plucking of Seahawks on Moorman to Denney special teams play.

  8. Only if it is a miniature golf tournament. But I'll meet you at 18th watering hole.
  9. During college I worked for Buffalo newspaper doing copy and ad editing. It is amazing how unprofessional newspapers have become with all of the new software available.
  10. Standing on offense makes little sense. I stand when I yell on defense since it opens the diaphragm. I like when players tell us they want some more noise like loud and proud Stroud did.
  11. Thanks for getting me ticket. I hate ticketbastard and I know I can get them on the street but it ruins my tailgating fun. I am too much of a planner. I'd like to help out more but not sure how. Someone posted a code on wall for discounts on stuff so I bought duplicates of everything and brought one extra of each for raffle. Robert Royal and Scott Norwood are only players I have any contact with.
  12. When Pats* see they can not win AFC East they will pull out all stops to not win games so to improve their draft position next year and use it to rearm. Say what you will about their cheating in game and on sideline but the front office is smart.
  13. I'd have liked to have stayed after game but I need to fly to CA this week and have a lot of prep work. It is nice to meet regulars again and newcomers as well. I wish we could find a 2nd tailgate during the year which would work for most people for the parking lot does not seem the same. Thanks Jack, Cindy, Mary, Sidbuff and Jay for all of your hard work and Hammer as well of course.
  14. Copeland Bryan was playing on special teams doing a good job on it too which is why he was playing and not Chris Ellis. Some teams would have played the 3rd round draft pick because he was a 3rd round draft pick but Bills still consider special teams very important and it showed.
  15. I am hoping they will replay the game on NFL Network this week although I know the Patriots* will be shown because they know many will be wanting to watch Brady go down again. Anybody hear NFL Network Replay schedule yet?
  16. Yeah and they did a lot of back and forth with LBs and Safeties too.
  17. Seems like your post is more to laugh about that Bruce was. The problem is some teams use bottom of barrel players rather than using best players like Bills do including starters. Corto is a perfect example - most teams would not sign him even in preseason but he made the difference today in a score.
  18. Butler plays next to RT not LT but they were a young and well coordinated pair today. Peters play stepped up when Dockery was signed and started next to him.
  19. I noticed it too. They were moving our DL around a lot so it was hard to keep track of them.
  20. We found our new TE and he is a BIG one - Denney. He has covered WRs before so we know he can move; why don't they throw him a few balls?
  21. Thanks! I was able to pull out of my cache the video to save. Great blocking by everyone.
  22. Official Inactives: 3QB 10 G.Hamdan, WR 13 St.Johnson, CB 27 R.Corner, OL 70 M.Murphy, OL 77 D.Bell, TE 86 D.Fine, DE 93 C.Ellis, DT 97 J.McCargo NFL Gamebook: http://www.nfl.com/liveupdate/gamecenter/2...UF_Gamebook.pdf Interesting that Corner was inactive and Omon was active. Copeland played ok plays I saw him.
