  1. Probably, most likely, I am leaving Sunday morning from Seal Beach, CA. Reasons: 1. I procrastinate too much 2. It saves me trouble of packing, checking in, unpacking, checking out, checking in. 3. I am working at 5 AM and 5 AM + 5.5 hrs = 10:30 AM - in time for tailgate assuming I do not get lost.
  2. Thanks. I always though Dwight did a good job. So others do not need to search entire article to read it.
  3. I think Tucker is a very good writer and SI was smart to pick him up. I may not always agree with him but that is a different issue.
  4. If Ruben is in shape and has lost that gut do you think he could play a a blocking TE? I was thnking of a scenerio where we lose a TE late in year, going to go to playoffs and Ruben gets a call to come to the stadium and put on his gear again. Good to hear Marlo is doing good. Thanks for report Cindy.
  5. At least with their board I can read the posts without scrolling back and forth due to crappy monitor I have to use on the road, Oh and I do not think when they were talking about opponents pouring on points they were talking about Bills. Jets most likely.
  6. In my opinion the missing player compared to SuperBills was Kent Hull. Oh and they have not a Special Teams player as Hall of Fame worthy Steve Tasker although Wending is becoming very good.
  7. This is a hilarious ding on Al Davis by Shanahan. Shanahan ought to ding him every time he can especially in news conferences after Raiders games.
  8. I am driving as well from LA - company pays for car and gas. Hotel as well if I can keep it under allowed rate (they would pay for a hotel in Seal Beach anyways). Anybody want a ride? I am leaving around 4 PM Saturday and returning after game and would not mind company.
  9. People who feel need to post in huge bold fonts obviously are on crack. Ban them.
  10. Internally? Who on the Bills staff talks to this tool about concerns? They ought to be fired. It is all his opinion not "internally". The Bills have concerns because Crowell decided to put off having any surgery until a couple of days before opener and a few players are banged up but if they had big concerns they would be on horn talking to another team trying to trade for a player. Oh and the purpose of defenses is to prevent points not yards. The Rams, even as weak as athey are now, are designed to gain yards with hope that can turn into points.
  11. I'm going from CA. Working in CA Saturday until 3:30p, driving to Arizona, attending game and driving back Sunday night before flying back Monday. Yeah it would make more sense to fly from Arizona but company pays for rental car and I'd have to pay for change in ticket.
  12. A Pats* fan used to be a good sport when his team was winning even laughing at the logo of the Pats* with a camera. There was a discussion at work and Tom Brady's name came up and he stated the Pats* would have been undisputed lead of AFC East if Brady had not hurt himself. Oh I asked how would they have been undisputed when Bills won all games so far? He said it was because the Bills were 4-0 and Pats* did not have a bye week at which everyone laughed at him for not realizing we were still in week 4. Finally he admitted that once Brady went down he knew the team was shot and he had not paid attention to the team.
  13. I found some meaning in it. Do a better job next time.
  14. The one issue with Greer going to another team unlike Clements he was a UDFA and Bills get NO compensation. Shame all the investing and no return after he leaves.
  15. Reed didn't duck - someone just trying to stir the pot about last year because he is getting recognition this year. Reed was the only WR who showed up against Pats* and who was the QB? JPL. Reed is best over the middle for short passes and that was Losman's weakest throw. He did well for "Captain Checkdown" as well.
  16. Evans is pulling ahead of Greer (20% to 19%) - he has more speed. I wonder how well Greer does covering Evans?
  17. Greer's play was not one of opproutinity but good defense position and concentration.
  18. Two great plays to split the Bills fan votes? Amazing that they gave credit to Greer for being smart and good disguised coverage rather than bad throw by QB.
  19. Williams proved the strategy of signing young veterans early (other than Petered) right.
  20. Petered will not be making Pro Bowl this year. Bills should do some negative advertisements. There should be signs visible on TV when Bills play saying that Petered's agent hurts his clients and look elsewhere for an agent.
  21. Until we play AFC East I would not be too worried about record. Bills can only play games as they are listed on schedule but division games have a habit of not going as predicted.
  22. I'll give you some clues: He has been with Bills since Superbowl years It is NOT a front office position (we can not blame it on ticket office manager despite him should have been fired years ago) It is NOT Ralph Give up? Chuck Lester Assistant to the Head Coach/Special Projects Among Lester’s responsibilities are breaking down film of the upcoming week’s opponent as well as tracking statistical tendencies throughout the NFL I have heard front office and other teams rave about his work (i.e. ex-coaches telling things he did which help team and telling them implement those things) we are getting slow starts and the coaches & players depend upon film breakdown and tendencies to game plan and prepare. When they see the actual opponent they are able to adjust their game. Either this or is due to conditioning - Bills are better conditioned and are better suited for 2nd half play than opponents.
  23. I think Lynch is the sledge hammer and Action Jackson is the pick. The sledge hammer just keeps hitting opponent until they are sore and tired making further runs of any type easier. A pick is fine but if used too much or without using the sledge you are not likely to get far unless you hit a weak spot. Lynch is the player who makes Jackson look better.
  24. Only when they have a weather or other disaster. There were two Monday games for that reason one night last year.
  25. Never had a problem with tickets outside the Ralph but I have heard problems from people who bought online or other places.
