  1. Moorman. Still does more for team and compares very well to peers.
  2. http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs/null/107092 The TSA reached a mind-boggling new low in customer service this week when it was revealed that one agent had single-handedly absconded with over $200,000 worth of travelers' belongings, primarily cameras and laptops, and proceeded to unload his booty on eBay. His latest haul: A near-$50,000 camera that an HBO employee had been traveling with. What do you do if you need to get something expensive from point A to point B but can't carry it on the plane? Advance shipping through FedEx and the like seems like the only real solution: At least with shipping carriers you can insure the package against damage and theft. But sadly, your contract with the airlines absolves them of virtually all liability when things like this happen. You think this is only TSA agent stealing? I do not think so. I saw an agent reject an unopened item a customer had making person toss it in barrel and then take out the prohibited item after person went through. I took a picture from inside scanning area and was told that "taking pictures is prohibited for security purposes" and I told person to call supervisor and we would discuss. TSA agent did not bother getting up out of his chair. I have had bags damaged and airline says it is not their fault because TSA searches bags and TSA says they are authorized to search bags for security reasons. Breaking a handle is "searching"?
  3. He was named to NFL's All-Time Team. The team was selected by the 36 voters for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Players voted in him into ProBowl before there was even such a slot for special teams. Special teams selection was created due to his performance. He was even voted in as special teams player when he wasn't even playing special teams. Read my tribute first written in 1996: http://members.cox.net/billswatch/st_index.html
  4. Not sure Ralph would bring him back with charges of racism.
  5. If all someone cares about is sacks then sign a potato. I was hopeful that posters were more intelligent than Dan Quayle and knew that being a Defense Lineman is a lot more than sacking QB.
  6. Peters? He has bulked a lot in off season, non-workout period. Let Kirk start swapping him with Walker.
  7. I wonder how much Peter's groin injury is hurting his performance. [ NOTE: I am sure if my groin's peter was hurting my performance would lessen ]
  8. When Bills are short yardage situation move Peters out to TE on the line and bring in Kirk Chambers. It is not that I think that Kirk Chambers is a better LT than Peters but Kirk Chambers + Peters is a better combination than Peters + Roscoe or Peters + Hardy.
  9. Since it was "family emergency" I assume deer was a family pet.
  10. Agree with slick regarding Jackson. Line him up as a WR and put Lynch in his usual spot. Bring Omon in to spell Lynch if he can handle picking up the blitzing assignments.
  11. No conspiracy but a conspiracy theory. Do not need a conspiracy (or facts) for a conspiracy theory. Jauron is a low key type of guy and it was probably in works for a while. It was not even announced by leaks by someone in office trying to get points with press.
  12. Really? Who caught last TD at New England by Bills? Josh Reed I believe.
  13. http://apnews.myway.com//article/20081027/D9431CDG1.html Health officials shut down a suburban Buffalo restaurant after an inspector found employees butchering a dead deer inside the business. Erie County Health Department officials said they got a tip Friday about a dead deer in the China King restaurant in the town of Hamburg, just south of Buffalo. I have eaten at that restaurant. No objections to deer meat but a lot of objections to restaurant butchering game especially when they do not serve wild game. The message on the restaurant's answering machine Monday says it was closed because of "family emergencies." Emergency of family paying fines yes.
  14. How long he is out depends on how bad the strain is. He will need to wait and see.
  15. Interesting thing was Times Warner advertising heavily during radio broadcast of Bills when they can not carry the Bills due to contract dispute. I think the advertising hurts more than helps for it reminds people Warner is not carrying the Bills and many were listening to radio because of that.
  16. He also contributes a lot to run game. Not only that Josh keeps the DBs honest for if they do press coverage he is glad to engage. Where are the mob who said that he should have been traded or have a UDFA start rather than him now?
  17. Injuries are showing and unlike last year there are not some unheralded player to pick up slack. Our LB depth is decimated, returner specialists was really two players - Parrish and McGee - and they were both injured, defense line has improved in most cases but McCargo has regressed and Schobel has been shadow of former self, and the OL never learned to run block and Jason Peters is still in strike shape. I missed game (car troubles) but from what I heard on radio it appears that once we lost Reed & OL and defense was exposed it was all down hill. I hoped some the rookies got extra snaps during bye but now it appears not so no reinforcements coming that way.
  18. Yes 2 Tackles. Did you bother checking stats before posting?
  19. Watching out tripping on your own Dick. You obviously are expert on it.
  20. Reed's loss was significant. Looks like those who were saying to cut him were asswipes.
