Eric Moulds come back please!!!!!
buzzbait1965 replied to HudsonValleyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At least half of the passing yardage was racked up in the fourth quarter of a then blow out. It's called garbage time, at least when QB's not named JP are the benefactor of prevent defenses. -
Nice. I coach a pee wee/ midget team in Salamanca. It's a blast. We don't have a web site but one of the fathers is a photographer and posts about a hundred pictures weelky on his own site. The boys love seeing themselves on it. I have been interested in looking into getting them to play at the Bills facility. Any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated. The Bills do a nice job with the youth teams. The entire team got to go into the Seneca Nations Box after the season (they won the championship 2 yrs in a row, 10-0 both years.) It was the Rams game, when Kent Hull was elected onto the ring of honor. And as we are eating who shows up but Hull, Delomelure(sp), Smerlas and some others. Even though these guys were before their time the kids had a blast. Kent Hull is a great person also, he spent his time eating dinner sitting next to my son and shooting the sh-t with him the whole time. Classy individual to take time out of his shinning moment and make the day of a bunch of 8-10 yr. old kids.

The schedule makers were good to the Dolphins though.

miami got culpepper, that is sick
buzzbait1965 replied to grape ape's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All World McGahee runs pretty well for having all of his replaced though. If getting a hummer is ok for the President of the United States, in his work place no less, then I would think a NFL QB getting one while on a boat, during the off season, shouldn't be that big a deal. Besides I don't think that's what he has been charged with anyway. I'm guessing that you can get a lap dance in a Minnesota strip club so what's the big deal. Club's bring in feature dancer's from other parts of the country to dance and you don't see them getting brought up on charges like this. If he weren't who he was he wouldn't even be charged, just like the 2 non NFL guys who have admitted to having "contact" with the strippers. -

If a running back can come back from this type of injury, I would guess a QB can as well. I'm sure he'll be fine in time. -
He might not be back totally by then which is why they will probably hang on to Ferrotte. I think Culpepper's cap number allows them to do this easier than if they would have had signed Brees

Seattle to match offer sheet on Hutch, and still
buzzbait1965 replied to Stl Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There may be a clause inserted by Minn. that says the entire 49 million is guaranteed if Hutchison is not the highest payed player on the team at any time of the contract. Not sure if this is true, but with the likes of Walter Jones becoming a free agent at some point and the other big name skill players they have, this could be a big problem down the road. Unless you wanted to cut him at some point and take the hit that way. -
L.J. Shelton, left tackle from Cleveland. They seem pretty busy signing players for supposedly being in cap trouble. They'll add Brees in the next couple of days I'd bet. Cant see him signing with N.O. unless they just throw insane amounts of money at him. Never saw his name bantered around here much. Would have thought maybe he would have gotten a look see with the obvious needs at OL.

Here we go again.....
buzzbait1965 replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After watching ESPN and the NFL Network I'm confused also. They reported the Dolphins where 9 mil over on one and 22 mil over on another. The Redskins where 17 mil and 28 mil or so on another. I don't think anybody is really sure. -
That wouldn't be good!

Jeez, you think the fact that he has a book coming out has something to do with the fact all this crap is happening. He releases his book and now is sending an ambulance chaser in the two weeks surrounding the Superbowl. As they say there is no such thing as bad publicity.

Ah, Hermmie wasn't fired was he. I think Herm asked out of his contract because he already had a gig lined up in KC.

I wish I had $500,000 to bet on Football games...
buzzbait1965 replied to realtruelove's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Personally I could give a crap if she bet $5,000,000 with a bookie. It has absolutley zero effect on my day to day life. Besides that's equivalent of me dumping $50 at a casino or on a Superbowl Pool. The government is falling all over themselves to get to the bottom of this yet they allow casinos to open about as often as a Wal-Mart store. Wal-Mart has a harder time opening a store that might actually save some people a few bucks, than a casino who is taking money from a lot of people who should be using their paychecks for family matters. I'm not against casino's mind you, but sometimes I think the issues the goverment focuses on are messed up. If they could make it legal, and get a cut from the mob or who is ever running the books, they would do it in a heartbeat. The Gretzky issue is a non story, unless he was betting on his own team and coached the game according to if he had picked his team to win or lose. -
I'm not nieve enough to believe that racism doesn't exist, but I'm also not nieve to the fact that it always will be present in a society. People will always discriminate against people who are not like them be it, race, religion, color, or social status. What ever happened to just being the best canidate for a job or placement in college etc. If the company or institution doesn't want you based on whatever reason would you really want to be working for them or attending classes there. In the case of colleges, by allowing a certain percentage of student enrollment based on race, aren't you then discriminating against some other group who has better grades from getting into school. I'm no expert in these issues but it seems like by crying foul all the time you make more excuses for some to not try and better themselves instead of working hard to try and overcome whatever obstacles may be present.

Montana Snubbed the NFL
buzzbait1965 replied to ExiledInIllinois's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe Jake Scott of the Dolphins was a no show. Being a Dolphin fan it pains me to say that I'm not 100% positive that he was a Superbowl MVP, but I'm thinking he was. You know what they say about the mind being the first to go when you get old. -
That's cool, it looked pretty bad on the tube. You hate to see anybody get hurt, but especially someone in what could be thier last game before turning pro.
-
I think Posluszny suffered a pretty bad knee injury in Penn. State's Bowl game.

How about blaming the play calling by Manning himself. If Pitts is blitzing at will how about a swing pass to Edge out of the backfield. He would be un covered as the backers and Palumalou where blitzing all day and Manning didn't call a play to try and slow them down. James might as well have taken a nap on the sideline during the game. Peyton basicaly took one of the best backs in football out of the game. Don't even get me started on his piss poor clock management and play calling on the last drive. One other thing. Why in the world does the defensive back run right at the only person between himself and 90 yds. of open field? It's not like Big Ben is Michael Vick. The only way that guy doesn't score is if he runs right at BR.
-
Mr. Football also tried to leg whip Ferrotte as he moved up in the pocket after he landed on his back on that sameplay, but you would never hear any broadcaster comment on how that is a very dirty tactic unless it were Harrison or some other bad boy in the NFL.

Detox are you from Salamanca? Name?

Just found out what the state tax is on gas in NY. $0.52/gal. That works out to approx. $0.42 profit on a gal. for the indians. Pretty nice profit margin.
-
$2.49 on Monday,$2.59 on the reservation last night. I didn't check this morning but one of the guys at work said it was $2.81 this morning. You aren't getting any break if you travel any distance to get there to fill up. I live in Salamanca so I get it there. These guys are the epitimy (sp?) of gouging prices. Not sure what the state taxes are in NY for a gallon but they only charge a dime less, on average, than non native stations.

So Where Do You Buy Your Gas From?
buzzbait1965 replied to PTS's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Indians get a lot of it trucked in from Canada. Where it comes out of the ground I do not know. Some do advertise that it's American gas. Although the 20 cents a gallon is somewhat cheaper YOU DO NOT GET A FULL GALLON as they do not have the pumps monitored. I know because I live on the res. and go to fill up a gallon jug for the mower. That and if they pay no taxes than why isn't the gas more than 20 cents cheaper, the state tax is alot more than that. They are making a killing. I have to buy mine there because I would have to drive out of town as they own all of the gas stations. -
Florida Panhandle shark attacks
buzzbait1965 replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm heading to Long Beach Island, NJ in Aug. And I see they just had a surfer get attacked by a Great White June 9th. They should be gone by then as the water will be much warmer but I've caught sharks off the beach before. If people knew how many are actually out there nobody would probably swim. The odds are still pretty low that you would ever get bitten though. Don't blame the sharksthough, they are just doing their thing. -
I'll bet that by this time next year the population of Erie County will be screaming to get the sales tax back. The property tax is going to go through the roof next year. The problem of overstaffing needed to be adressed but the overwhelming problem is Medicaid and the retirement bill that comes from NYS. Wait till next year if you think it's bad now. Add the recently unemployed to the already ridiculous Medicaid problem and it's going to get real ugly real fast.
