  1. You guys poo pooing this signing will change your mind come the season. You will love Hoecht.
  2. You’re gonna love this signing. This is one of the guys I had on my wish list. Really love his versatility and game. Dude can play anywhere on the line and even LB.
  3. one thing he said that was a big turn off to me was that it doesn’t sound like we are going to get much more man coverage on D. Because the soft zone nickle base has been so successful in the playoffs. 🙄
  4. Void years are contract years the player will never play for a team (unless an extension or restructuring occurs). They are essentially placeholders for prorating signing bonus money up to five seasons. At some point all that money will have to be accounted for towards the Eagles salary cap. They went all in and it worked. Good on them. They’ll pay for it eventually but I’d take that trade for the bills.
  5. https://atozsports.com/nfl/buffalo-bills-news/buffalo-bills-latest-hirings-shifting-man-coverage-sean-mcdermott-ryan-nielsen/?fbclid=IwY2xjawIZqQNleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHdnU5V-NiiLtPXs0auRKhgpoYVW0C5Py_P2JcNy-Vdv_RAOViH9cFMmvrg_aem_L3APpjDPmY2RepR25Q0lnA “The Bills have brought on two coaches in the last week to be assistants on the defensive side of the ball — Ryan Nielsen, who has previously served as a defensive coordinator and defensive line coach in stops with the Saints, Jaguars, and Falcons, and former Patriots cornerbacks coach Mike Pellegrino. One thing is very fascinating about bringing in these two hires. Both of them bring a ton of experience and expertise in running man coverage. Buffalo could be breaking from their zone-heavy tendency heading into a new season. Nielsen, in particular, ran man coverage last year in Jacksonville at the second-highest percentage in the NFL.” YYEEEEEESSSSS!!
  6. I am so uninterested in this years Super Bowl, I’ll be doing my taxes that evening. No joke. I normally host a Super Bowl party every year, but nobody I hang out with plans on viewing. Nor do I.
  7. Right. But it seems to be by design. I don’t think McD believes in man cb has a base philosophy. Otherwise they’d have such players by now. personally, I’m philosophically drawn to man cover 2. To me, it’s the best of both worlds.
  8. Exactly. It doesn’t work when it counts
  9. My biggest issue for several years now is how McD is so adamant about playing this soft zone nonsense. He isn’t going to have a philosophical change at this point in his career. Right or wrong, it’s the reality.
  10. https://www.si.com/nfl/inside-messy-48-hours-that-made-liam-coen-jaguars-coach This Liam Coen situation is fantastic and hysterical.
  11. “He’s a bad pick” Good God almighty, anyone saying that is a shortsighted fool. They don’t understand the safety position in this system. They don’t grasp how detrimental missing all that training camp was. Knee jerk reactionary foolishness at its finest. 🙄
  12. Something I’ve been saying for a few seasons now, is that this defense is too slow to stop upper echelon passing attacks, yet too small to stop decent run games. That in and if itself are not a recipe for success. Assuming “success” is winning the Super Bowl. In the NFL to be successful you should at least be big and tough or fast and schematically superior. The bills are neither.
  13. I like motor city Dan Campbell a crap ton, so yes they are my go to nfc team currently
  14. Here’s my thing… What about McDermott makes you guys think he’s the guy that’s going to win a Super Bowl? That’s what it all comes down to! He’s done a great job of turning this team around and making this franchise competitive. No doubt! But do you actually believe he can win a Super Bowl?
  15. Not more tiresome than endless clock management issues consistently year after year that cost the bills big games. Enjoy your mediocrity train there pal.
  16. Nobody was saying Daboll was going to be an unbelievable head coach. He had just kind of earned his stripes from doing the job as a coordinator. Ben Johnson is somebody that looks like he could be a coaching genius. Much like Sean McVay when he was coming up.
  17. Ever hear of a guy named Belichek??
  18. McD has hit his ceiling. I’d bet my house that we never win the Super Bowl with him as HC. We are wasting Josh’s prime years. This isn’t a knee jerk reaction to this game. This is something I’ve been saying for multiple years. This game is case in point as to why. Sean has done great things and turned this franchise around. And I’m extremely thankful for that. But if we want to win it all, we need someone clutch. Someone who doesn’t cave when it matters most. Sean isn’t that guy. And I highly doubt he ever will be. Drastic times call for drastic measures. Staying the course in this case isn’t going to push this team over the hump. Sean gets Out coached consistently. Do you actually think he’s going to out coach Reid or McVay or even Dan Campbell when it matters??? Ha! No chance.
  19. I can get with that. He’s about to cook McD and our defense next week anyway.
  20. If Terry had any balls, he’d fire McD and Hire Belichek immediately after we lose AGAIN in the playoffs this season. Period! Plain and simple. When will we ever have the opportunity to have such an accomplished coach available ?? Say what you want about him as a head coach without Brady, but guess what?! He would have Josh freaking Allen!! And being the ultimate competitor that he is, he would love nothing more than to play the patriots and jets twice per year. McD proved, yet AGAIN, that he comes up small in big moments. He pisses down his leg at crunch time. He’s not ever going to win the Super Bowl. He will get out coached again and again and again when it matters. We are wasting Josh’s prime years with this bum. Terry, open up another pipeline and pay whatever Bill Belichick wants!
  21. That’s exactly what I’ve been saying. It’s dumb to do at a football game
  22. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/taylor-swift-skips-chiefs-vs-213800047.html ”"I have heard from people very close that it was not a great experience in Buffalo," he explained to Kay Adams on Up and Adams. "It was not. For all parties involved... And I'm talking about the most famous of all the parties." He added, "I think that it kind of shocked the Kelce family and everyone related to the Kelce family the reception they got. I think they were kind of going in being like, 'This is going to be an amazing game with good energy.' And they got there and they experienced Bills Mafia in full form, in full form. In complete ruthlessness. And I think they left and went, 'I don't know if I want to experience that again.' It was that kind of a level of crazy." And that right there is why I’m a loud and proud Bills fan!! 😆 Hit the bricks, Swift!
  23. What a “steel”
  24. Exactly. How ppl dont realize that it was all shtick is hilarious.
