  1. Yeah. I must say. Never heard of Kean university.
  2. Barely reach 19,000 a year
  3. Penn State - only the best
  4. Watch an entire Pitt game (like I do every week) and you will see what I am saying. Not ANY QB - But I gurantee you stick Joey Harrington, or Phillip Rivers, or Eli Manning into that system and they do the same thing. Sorry. 13 sacks and 2 fumbles in three games sounds like Bledsoe. His TEAM is carrying him. Not vice-versa.
  5. Im not saying he is bad at all. Im just saying he is NOT as good as everyone wants to make him out to be. Watch the ENTIRE Pitt game and you will see exactly what I am talking about. They also had a change in their lineup with Bettis.
  6. Yep. An 'average' rookie who's team is carrying him to 9-0 and he is getting 90% of the credit.
  7. You guys suck. Howard is great. The people at WGR have a leash on him though ....
  8. It seems as if I am the only one that Ben Roethlisberger doesnt impress the heck out of. I was impressed early on when he was putting up good numbers for the first 3-4 games when Staley was getting 70-80 yards a game. The last 3-4 games, Bettis has been rushing for 130-140 yards a game and Ben seems to just dump the ball off and the guy runs 30 yards for a recieving TD. He doesnt impress me that much. His last 3 games he has thrown 3 TD's, 2 Int's, 12 sacks, and 2 fumbles --- sounds like Bledsoe stats. Maybe worse.
  9. LMAO - you MUST be a Bledsoe hater. One of those guys that if Bledsoe threw for 3 TD's and 0 Interceptions every game you would still hate him - just because you want to ... "they'll probably win the damn thing and he'll get ANOTHER season" HE DESERVES ANOTHER SEASON IF HE WINS THE BCS!!!!!
  10. LMAO about the Canton, because that may be very true. Even though you were just trying to be a smart ass his years in NE and his first year with the Bills may just very well lead him to Canton. 38,612 yards 213 Touchdowns 176 Interceptions Those are just about Jim Kelly numbers ... except for the fact that Bledsoe has 3,000 more yards than Kelly.
  11. I would have to say that if the Bills started Bledsoe next year and he throws for 300 yards, 3 TD's and 0 interceptions every single game for the entire year, Bills fans would still call for his head just because they dont like him. Thats just the way it is. We have to deal with it.
  12. I think you guys got it down right. Gomper just wants a funny man - he is not able to comprehend how good Simon really is. Go listen to Rome Is Burning. We will stick with our guy Howard.
  13. Your probably right - I shouldnt' have included hamburg ... but North Collins is about 5 large steps long and gowanda is about 10 large steps long ...
  14. Shall you point to the part in the post where I say they shouldnt fire the guy? I just said they wont. But in all fairness they beat #19 Boston College and nearly beat Florida State in the dome earlier in the year. Two ranked teams.
  15. That is BLASPHEMY in Buffalo. Howard Simon is like the MAN of Buffalo sports radio talk. He is amazing and just because your a prick and dont have good taste doesnt mean you should try and ruin it for everyone.
  16. Just for fun ... here is some interesting stats. Bledsoe through 10 games in 2003: _____________________________ 190 of 316 (60%) 6 TD's 8 Interceptions QB rating of 75.7 30 sacks 10 fumbles Bledsoe through 10 games in 2004: _____________________________ 148 of 264 (56.1%) 12 TD's 11 Interceptions QB rating of 77 26 sacks 5 fumbles So 4% off in passing - 6 more TD's - 3 more INT's - 2 points higher in QB rating - 4 less sacks - 5 less fumbles
  17. Interceptions are counting towards the rating - learn the system before you guys talk. A lot of Bledsoe's sacks are not his fault. We all know our line sucks, so how can we blame Bledsoe for the sacks. Beside's he only has been sacked 27 times this year. Thats great for him.
  18. As much as I love the Bills and the Sabres im not a huge fan of BUFFALO itself. The city that is. It's quite dirty and just seems most of the time very smog and just plain not fun. Peoples perspectives will vary. I also dont like the surrounding areas such as Hamburgh, North Collins, Gowanda ... etc - all very "hillbillyish" - thats just ME though. Everyone has different opinions. I live in Rochester. About 1 hr 20 min from Buffalo and it is also dirty and has one of the highest crames rates per capita in the nation.
  19. Nice work ... you should be on ESPN.
  20. This is not true. At least not yet. They would certainly not be told of their dismissal right after a 43-17 womping of a ranked Boston College team. The team went a suprising 6-5 this year and is (for the first time since 1999) most likely going to be accepted to a bowl. I dont see him being fired.
  21. Who would you rather have? Claurett or Boston ... I would definately rather have Boston.
  22. I would agree with that.
  23. Take away those 2 games and your talking about him at #10 with Brett Favre.
  24. Huh? I have said it once ...
  25. You cant name a QB in the NFL that doesnt do that. I just watched Peyton Manning overthrow/underthrown 3 of his wide-recievers on Turkey day. Whats your point?
