Here is my reasoning...and you have to take Vesey at his word he is going to UFA with no chance of signing with Sabres before 08/15.Also take him at his word he will give you a decision on a team in one weeks time if you allow him to speak with other teams before 08/15. Now, let's say i am Chicago GM and on 7/20 Vesey tells Blackhawks are the choice....I think i would give a 4 to the Sabres so i can do immediately and not wait another 30 days...anything can go wrong in 30 days. Does that not make sense? All this is predicated on the fact the money is essentially the same from all teams, so no fear of "this offer could go down"..he knows that not the case. I just dont see what waiting to 08/15 buys the Sabres

k, you guys going to make me go over to SabreSpace and enter that fray...really looking for some answers here. Is there a reason the Sabres would not let him negotiate with everyone now? I know he can only sign with the Sabres before August 15, but seems to me dragging it out does no one any good. If he is going to sign in Chicago lets say, he is going to sign in Chicago. If we know that July 20th, maybe Chicago will trade us a pick to get his rights so he can sign before he changes his mind. And then GMTM knows where his roster stands, and what moves he still wants to make. Am i missing something here?

If Kane gets traded, I would be a happy man. Just like with Marshawn, don't care how good a player he is, I no longer want to root for him. I will still celebrate I am sure when he scores a big goal, but if he gets traded and he becomes a 50'goal man somewhere else....I will still be happy with the trade. Quick question ....why don't the Sabres let Jimmy and his agents talk with other teams now? Is there a downside to that? Skins tailgating sucks cause everybody hates the stadium, the owner, the team etc.. Bunch of angry drunks is no fun. BMore has great tailgates! In terms of after games, cent remember the last time we left earlier than 2 hours after game. The best after tailgates were the ones when it was post Bills/ Pre Sabre tailgate. Those Sunday double headers used to put a wallop on me in the mid 80's.

I know we tailgated as early as 75...don't remember the first couple of years. And as mentioned, tailgate was strictly hot dogs, hamburgers and beer. Late 80 's is when I think it started to become more of an event with planning, salads etc.

funny...i was at the 6-3 Giants-Bills thriller in 87 with like 8,000 of my closest friends, and had a blast. LT played every down i think. I may be wrong, but think it was a 4PM kickoff, watched the 1PM games at Wiechecs on Clinton, left at 3:45, was in seat at 4:10.

while the game sucked big balls, it was not a "win and your in" deal. The Jets also needed to lose to the Rams that day. That game was a very close game, and the Jets were actually winning when the Bills game went final. Jets game went to OT, but by then had pulled starters as thier playoff berth was assured. Still an awful game, and never trusted Lindell after that awful miss.

two worst in person for me 1) Already mentioned Jags playoff game 2) Dempsey game. Yes it was the opener, but as cold as i have ever been. Went into stadium with cotton T shirt and cotton shorts, friggen storm blows in start of second half and we are soaked to the bone , wind blowing like crazy in upper deck, truly as cold as i have ever been . Then that fugger misses a 33 yarder to win the game...and the streak continued! Still hate that guy.

Tony Hunter. Was convinced he was Gronk before there was a Gronk. Thought it a good idea we took him before that shlup Kelly too! Thought Flowers was going to be a beast !

Curtis Brown i think...was to busy shaking my head back and forth and just repeating" how can you get a delay a game after a timeout" about 30 times over. Way before graphics and playclock on the screen..so had no idea of the penalty...just could not believe it when it was announced wasn't quite as time expired, Kelly threw a pick over the middle next play...Harmon stayed alive and got all his gambling debts wiped out.

I will go with some older ones that maybe not top of my list, but ones that may not be brought up 1) Loss to Tampa Bay in 82 on Rosie Leaks fumble. 9 game season, 16 teams make playoffs. Bills go into this game with the hapless Bucs at 4-2 in massive control of their own destiny, lose on Rosie's fumble, and my brother and i just knew we were done. Two more road losses, one at Miami then at the Pats in front of like 20K fans...and good bye Chuck Knox, hello Kay Stephenson!!!! hello back to back 2-14...all cause of one freaking fumble. 2) Loss to Cinci in the playoffs getting delay of game after taking a timout and converting a 4th down to Lou Piccone.

Couple of things I remember 1) Dad never letting my brother and I go to the endzone to catch a ball. I remember crying my eyes out i wanted to go so badly, but no dice. 2) Parking is free, be $5 though to make sure your tires still here when you get back 3) watching a kid gets his ticket snatched from his hand about 10 feet from the turnstile. To this day i carry my ticket in front pocket with hand on it till I am at ticket taker. 4) Not quite Rockpile, but late 70's we were taking beerballs into the Ralph with a ticket. Was permissible as it was not glass or a can, it was plastic.

Not a five guys fan, will take Shake Shack though Taco Bell Cantina Power Menu actually quite good for fast food on the go, and not a complete disaster nutritionally. Less than 500 calories, not bad on the fat side as most of the fat comes from the guacamole, sodium is okay., but 25g of protein...and it actually does taste good. Y'all should try the steak one sometime, you might be surprised what you can get at a drive thru.
