  1. It is the opposite of a Bills game. Some libraries are louder But tip a few, try to get the Sabre coaches/ players to throw some swag at end of game Hit up some bars downtown after and have a great night!
  2. I thought the Bush playbat half was smart. He did get OOB, saved a timeout, we had 11 seconds left and the whole field open to use cause we had a TO. Block in the back is not his fault. That being said, can't stand his game, cut him tomorrow i all good!
  3. Dude ran the Pink Flamingo in the 80's, gotta. E cool dude.
  4. Wings ...Smoked and Buffalo Smoked Brats Cole Slaw Beans Corn Bread Great dinner, putrid game. 24-10 Seahawks.
  5. so am I ...just saw the two helmet to helmet hits from yesterday...you can argue if they should change the rules and make those hits legal, but right now contacting the QB in the head is a penalty. Both were hard hits to the head, right in front of the ref...have no clue how those are not called. None. If that was our guy, we would be going nuts. After all, we still a fan base bitching about a stupid NHL rule from 20 years ago cause it was not called correctly...even though we all thought it a stupid rule.
  6. a win would make me very happy..losing to the Bruins and then , in my eyes, a Bills loss same night...arghhhh
  7. Was thinking something similar watching games yesterday, and was going to post in the ratings thread. This year especially, you have the Pats at one end, the Browns at the other...and the other 30 teams are pretty much equal it seems. Who is less injured and get the bounces seems to determine the outcome of most games. I think maybe that does effect ratings..we watch our favorite teams now and that about it.
  8. yes on MacArthur..i found that fascinating as well
  9. Rambling post i am sure. Veterans day is Friday, and it always feels trite to me to throw out the "thanks for your service". Just feels like it does not convey how humbled i am and in awe of the men and women who have served our country. For our vets on this board, my greatest respect and admiration. Just finished watching the American Experience on the Battle of Chosin. I must admit i knew little to zero about the Korean War, and zero about this battle. To hear and watch these men talk about the pure hell on earth was some of the most moving, if not the most moving , documentary/movie i have every seen. You will fight back tears throughout. it will humble you. And then for them to talk about the sympathy they had for their Chinese enemy, and how bad the Chinese soldiers had it ...wow. I am sure still re-airing on your PBS station, but here is the link as well http://www.pbs.org/video/2365880628/
  10. that Calgary/Philly game combo was rough...and to not question the coaching strategies and players mental toughness in both would have been silly. Disco Dan and GMTM essentially said the same thing on their weekly interviews on GR..they were feeling sorry for themselves at the start of the season..especially after the Philly game, and both could feel the season going down the chitter. so not just the fans who were questioning, the coach and GM were as well.
  11. The real PSA...#7 JMu Dukes @ #6 Richmond Spiders...3:30 ..639 on your DTV Guide.. winner most likely gets bye in first round of playoffs. I am heading over to tailgate now...woohoo!!!
  12. I am okay with last night. Of course, it was against the Leafs D..but still, that effort will get at least a point per game till Eich gets back. BTW, Philly wins again in S/O last night. That team made the playoffs last year with a great OT/SO record, looks like they might again. 3 regulation wins, yes 3, out of 12 games, and as of right now in a playoff spot! These 3 point games just have to go
  13. I am with ya Johnny. Love my Bills Sundays, whether at home or at the game. Yes, they frustrate me. Yes, i love watching them each and every Sunday. Love going to the games even more. Enjoy it fellas, remember what it felt like when we thought they could leave?
  14. me too me too me too I thought our offence would dramatically improve and be in top 5 of NFL. I thought Carp would bounce back and i would not sweat every , single, freaking kick. Non-Bills...thought the Jaguars had a good chance at winning the AFC
  15. Wow...can you imagine if that was a coach in Buffalo?
  16. Lord...what is wrong with me...54 and find this absolutely hilarious!!!
  17. this is just Zimmer saying "your fired, but if you want to announce as a resignation, we okay with that" is it not? 3rd OC to go, and while i am not Rex fan, Rex was the only one to take big time chit over it.
  18. Ennis , especially in the first last night, looks like he is getting his legs and his confidence back. Robin looked good last night...who knows, maybe the debacle in Philly did something positive for this group.
  19. So i have just been thinking Gilmore has no clue how to tackle, always gets hurt when he does, and he has been avoiding contact for that reason in a contract year. Can't see that changing with the Eagles unless they give him extension.
  20. he played 1 1/2 games last year, and 7 this year no?
  21. I am usually quick on the update...but for the life of me cannot figure this stat out. Someone help the slow one please?
  22. Get the lot warmed up for the Jags!!!
  23. Do not let this story or any other one on this board keep you from coming to game. I am 54, been going to games since i was 6...prolly been to at least 160 Bills games , have never once had an issue...ever. Stop it with this "unsafe place" ridiculous statement. What...when 70K people get together somewhere...sometimes there is a knucklehead in the crowd...this cant be right though as it only happens in Buffalo ya know I have seen like two fights in 40 years...go figure another silly post. class has zero to do with money. And for those that go to a lot of Bills game, this particular fan base(the Pats fans s) go beyond the pale in terms of bad behavior at a game. They believe that because their team wins, they are somehow entitled to be absolute richard heads at a game. Yesterday, i was very proud of the way our fans handled it. Had a young lady in front of us, about 25, her first NFL game, wearing a Gronk jersey...who thought it appropriate to give a double one-finger salute to the crowd when Gronk scored. I let her know very politely not the greatest of behaviour..lets just say she didnt care. No one bothered her the whole game as this behaviour continued. Awesome fans....
