  1. That is a big part of it, but also a lot of out of towners kept tickets in the early part of the drought out of fear of the team leaving and loyalty to the city. For me, i love my seats, and love tp know where i am sitting every game, but the price is just getting too much at this point. And forget selling tickets after October...unless its a Pats game, tickets just don't sell, especially now with all games on TV and no blackout rule. And make no mistake, taking away the blackout rule will hurt season tickets next year.
  2. RB sure made a difference yesterday
  3. Rex press conference at 4:40 still on...we got Rex till at least the end of year
  4. Zac Brown was awful...had the feeling he was protecting himself for Free Agency... Shaq might have made one of the dumbest plays i have ever seen. Bell has ball, stopped short of line to gain, he comes sprinting in from behind play and jumps on pile, pushing the pile forward. Tyrod made a dozen idiot plays today...not throwing the ball away and getting tackled inbounds that last drive was just proved he ain't the brightest QB in the land...and this guy has been in the league 6 years...and starter for 2. Let's not forget Rex not using all his timeouts on the Stellers drive before the Bills last TD drive...use that timeout, combined with TT going out of bounds, a good 2:45 left on clock with 2 minute warning coming up...but the Bills have that TO left with 1:25 needing the successful onside..so essentially were down 14 points and left a TO on the board
  5. i think the true line of demarcation is how far away you live. I think for folks who live more than a 4-hour drive away and can't make more than 4 games or so a year...this year was the breaking point. BTW, team sold 47K in 2014...i have no doubt we are going below that number if Rex and Tyrod are back.
  6. crazy thing is ..until Brady and BB retire, wild card is prolly only playoff spot the Bills would earn...so no home game anyway.
  7. Bills sold 58,535 season tickets last year. What is your prediction for 2017? Rex and Tyrod stay------ 37,500 Rex stays, New QB------ 42,000 New Coach new QB------49,900 Be interested to hear what people plan to do with their seasons on here. I am really thinking of letting my go as another year where almost impossible to get ANYTHING for late season games. This was a 6-6 team and vs 7-5, playoffs not likely but doable...and i very literally could not GIVE my tickets away. Cheaper to pay up for the early season games on the secondary market and not get crushed by these games after week 10.
  8. hated the Rex hire..having said that i had the Bills at 10-6 before the season and before the injuries. Went to the Baltimore game and came away with grave concerns about Tyrod and the offence as i thought the Ravens stunk. Threw in the towel at 0-2 when losing to the putrid Jets, who are right where i thought they would be. Bit of hope going into Miami, and seeing the Dolphins run all over the place that day let me know they were cooked and at that point just wondering how long Rex would last. I am still wondering that.
  9. tried to watch..cant take the show anymore...hope y'all enjoy
  10. Dick Vermeil says you an idiot
  11. Babies my kids. 17 and 15 , they are young adults that can cook some eggs for christs sake
  12. Eh..i gave up on the Bills at 0-2 as well
  13. i know rudimentary as hell, but what a stark contrast in the PK for both teams last night. Caps aggressive, attacking the puck, reducing time and space like crazy. Sabres drop back into box, seemingly with thought just keep everything outside...and too many plays and shots getting created off that. Seems to be Disco's philosophy on the game...try to squeeze out a 2-1 overtime victory by being patient...and playing just about unwatchable hockey again. Crimminy, can th9s team score at even strength? BTW, as i have said several times in this thread, think i am done with him as well. Wholly chit...in the blink of an eye, 9 pts out now...ahead of the leafs by 1 point, but the Leafs have two in hand ...or else the Sabres dead last in the Conference. Not out of the question to be looking at the draft.
  14. does that mean Guhle does not play? Sucks if that is the case..like him a ton more than Gorges
  15. friend and i always joke.."if you going to cheat, just pay for it" Less drama etc. I'll take the drama thank you very much!
  16. Call them and tell them situation, and let them know you will open 15 accounts to let everyone on Amazon know how ****ty the product is unless they send new one
  17. Was not ideal, but was better than no sauce at all. I am one who eats a ton of chicken, but only cause you can do so much with the sauces, rubs, marinades etc. Plain chicken is pretty flavourless to me out side of the skin...so will continue to search for ways to do sous vide but interject more flavor in the finished product. one of the sites i visited..think"Not t so Ancient Chinese Secrets" specifically said is sous vide powdered garlic is 100% preferable to fresh/raw.
  18. Simon, I have only used the maual control so far and no worries at all.I have not bothered to connect the unit to my phone via bluetooth, and my unit does not have wifi. Wifi only really important if you want to start the unit remotely, which i honestly can't ever see really using. In terms of recipes, ANOVA has an app that contains all the recipes etc...but being sans cellphone may make that difficult!!! Sure the same info available online. No useful printed info comes with the unit. Made the chicken last night, texture and juiciness was spot on..perfect! Put in bag with fresh thyme and a slice of lemon, but still lacked in flavor. I did make a sage vermouth pan sauce with the bit of fond left from the sear and the juice in the bag, and that helped tremendously.
  19. Hate them too...especially in a tank year!!!
  20. I don't either..son says it still stems from the tank yer and him scolding fans and me getting pissed at him...and he is prolly right! He almost cost us Jack with that late-season scoring surge he put on, and he sure seemed to have an extra level of try after the infamous Coyotes game.
  21. that is an idea, especially if i am going things sous vide but where i still want a pan sauce. But damn, i am so freaking happy and proud of cast irons...always joke with my kids that the one i like better will get them in the will!
  22. i have two 12 inch Lodge and 1 10 inch Lodge Cast Iron....all between 12 and 6 years of use. Problem is they are now almost non-stick, so if i want to get fond from the chicken when i do the skin, the cast iron won't work as well as a regular metal skillet!
  23. this was a cool site, thank you for posting. Trying the chicken breast recipe tonight! BTW, says you can't make a pan sauce with no fond...but should be some after the sear in a metal skillet no?..or at least that is what i am hoping for! Not using cast iron as mine are practically non-stick at this point
