I just came home, saw my kid was not watching...and thought...uh-oh! I watched zero of the game, only seen May and Duffer post game...but we got a problem Houston. I am all in on a blood bath that will be forever remembered in Buffalo sports history. Fire every single person associated with both teams...GMTM, Whaley, Rex, Disco...and most important Russ..t this is just awful

thankfully just made my dinner reservations for this evening so don't have to listen to my son B word at me for not watching. A nice viewing at 3X when we get home should suffice.

But that would make the game way to fun and exciting...after all cap keeps going up, must be doing something right!

I have never been, but she loved it on her recruiting trip there. Only thing I know of Denison was based on the swimmers who could not keep grades there and transferred to where i went , Slippery Rock....lets just say The Rock was a tad bit less challenging academically She swims, so we will come up for the meet(s) more than parents weekend...

Who says they "love and bleed" for the school??? Problem is they can't leave a place even if they hate it without sitting out a year, unlike a coach...who has an actual contract guaranteed but can leave and go another institution whenever the fug he wants. Quitiing on the school he should "love and bleed for" Ridiculous! And please don't talk about insurance and people being set for life and not losing anything, cause obviuosly you have not examined the situation closely.. Going from a top five pick with close to $25 million guaranteed to a contract with with $4.5 guaranteed. So he pissed away close to $20MILIION by playing in that bowl game. Yes $20MMMMMMM. For an exhibition game that meant nothing to anyone except everyone collecting additional money....which is every one except the actual athletes themselves. You are in the playoff..play , I get it. If not, your choice. Dude, can't thank you enough for your sacrifice for our country. But guys like you and me did not bring a penny into that university...they have a special talent that these universities want, so they can bring in MILLIONS...so they offer them something for it ala scholarships. You can argue then if the player does not think that is enough compensation, they should "take their talents" elsewhere. Problem is they cant for 3 years due to the nice cozy relationship between the NFL and NCAA..

Did a rib roast couple of weeks ago...i think the hotter you can get the oven the better. I went with paste of garlic, rosemary and thyme...broil for the sear ( i have 3 broil settings, went the middle and middle rack position(hehe, i said rack), watched very closely and it came out great!

The K&M is part of the tradition...why question it? BTW, hate to admit the knucklehead Jet fan Hammer is kicking out was with us...a friend of my nephew from UB, first time I had met him. Thankfully Hammer knocked some sense in him, he came back and had a two-hour nap and plenty of water, and was a perfect gentleman and tailgater after that scolding!

Okay..been farting around the various sites in preparation for Sunday. We do a whole tenderloin. Read one site that advocates for the sear pre-water soak, with a very quick sear post bath. The theory being while meat is colder can develop deeper crust without fear of overcooking the meat with 2 minutes a side if needed...30 seconds a side post to just reinforce. Thoughts, experiences and tenderloin recipes welcomed!
