  1. I like May...and am always amazed at the size of his hands and much it had to hurt if got a shot in with those paws. BTW, i am of the belief the Sabres are cooked, and should be looking at trade options. How bout this from 30 thoughts yesterday Kane anyone? Blackhawks are going to be in tight cap situation and don't know how they would fit Kane in... so looks like it ould have to be money for money....but his value has to be as high as it has been since the Sabres acquired him
  2. I find this confusing as well. Not for nothing, but A-Lynn's offense put up almost 600 on that guys D a couple weeks ago.
  3. No, what my point says is that over two years with the Bills, Rex coached them to 2 wins over teams with winning records, and one of those is an iffy win at best. It means his teams tended to mentally melt down and make mental errors continually throughout the 2 years, especially when put under pressure by better teams. And yes, Bills teams have done that for 17 straight years, does not mean we should accept it any more now with Rex as coach as we did with Chan, Dick, Doug etc. The Bills can and should be better at coach. To say the exact same personnel and conditions and schedule will exist next year so you can judge side by side is "simplistic" .
  4. Sure there is. Their PR is a mess, that is 100% inarguable I think. But that's all we know for sure.
  5. Such a simplistic view. Bills could hire a worse coach, and go 4-12, does not mean Rex was the answer. QB could be awful next year instead of just mediocre.Does not mean Rex was the right coach.
  6. You keep making this same point over and over again...and it makes no sense, no matter how many times you say it.
  7. wow, was in and out of that game..just read Brent was defending Mixon...that aint cool.
  8. As we have seen with so many other Bills coaches....his body of work will determine his ability to get a next job. Oh that's right...he will not have a next job, just like the rest of the dregs we have had in here to coach.
  9. Maybe just me, but Brent just keeps bringing it. Enjoy it while it lasts, especially in light of seeing Keith Jackson tonight.
  10. Heard the bride's family is extremely disappointed in the Father in Law to be ...can't blame em
  11. thought the same thing...but as Johnny states...it did not happen unless it can be posted to social media.
  12. well, there our chance to trade him at deadline...assume guarantees on expansion list?
  13. We drove home NY yesterday...was so nice to pull steaks right from the freezer and into the tank...so easy. Steaks were a bit thin and I over cooked on the sear...but still all good.
  14. you getting SV now eh?
  15. So weird, I have been seeing a bunch of commercials for Ecuador on TV ...looks awesome! Happy New Year in Ecuador! We are just back from the fireworks in Central Park. They were freaking amazing!!! We were on Central Park West and about 78th, on some rocks...had a great view and felt like the show was right in front of us. Time Square about 3/4 mile away, might as well been 100 miles. Happy New Year all...heres to better times in 2017!
  16. Agree on the whining...bad year for me income wise and .know it sounds trite, but could have worse things happen. May 2017 bring you better tidings!!! I doubt I be breathing in 35 years from now...but if i am i will check back and hope that's true! BTW, just starting the evening with some of the best/stinkiest goat and sheep's milk cheese i have ever had.
  17. another game of which i did not watch one second. So, do we have anyone of value to sell at the deadline? Moose, Gus, Larrson...any of those guys have any value? Would someone want Gionta for vet presence? 4th maybe? Gorges bring a 6th to be vet 7/8 D insurance for a playoff team? Kane seems to be heating up at right time..might get something.
  18. So what's everyone doing tomorrow? Interested to see the differences between the ages I am 53 with 3 older teenagers in tow. Staying at a friends place in Harlem near the Apollo. Dinner close to here at 9PM, then think we will head to Central Park and the Bethesda Terrace to watch the fireworks and toast the New Year with a nice bottle of bubbly for the 5 of us( and hope we don't get arrested for contributing to the delinquency)! What's everyone else doing? BTW, we were debating heading to the Brooklyn Bridge to watch the fireworks, or maybe even Park Slope and Prospect Park. Any experience or suggestions I am all ears. Only thing that is out for us is midtown.
  19. No on the fresh garlic...there was talk earlier , forget why but powdered garlic much better. I only have Lodge cast iron, love all or them.
  20. i agree he has been okay to good outside the shootout....but much like Sammy and Whitner will always be judged by the price paid to get him. Not his fault, just the way it is.
  21. I have an Egg to....but don't anticipate using it for searing. I think better method if you want smoke taste is on top of full and lit chimney starter.
  22. uhmm..that is almost 100% on coaching. I agree coaches can't fix the physical mistakes, but getting guys in the right position and not making mental mistakes is almost 100% on the coach...in any sport. Especially when it happens game in and game out...and across the board
  23. Season has been over from a playoffs perspective for a month.... I did not watch any of the game, but just read the comments from Disco. One was something to the effect"2 goal lead, have to come away with at least 1 pt there" . And that is all that needs to be said.....fans know it too...dude thinks he can 1 pt his way to success
