Sabres & NHL 2016-17 - Victor Antipin Signs One Year Deal
plenzmd1 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I think every Sabre fan in the world, (minus a few knuckleheads LOL) has been saying the same thing on both trades for a while. But that's in the past, question is what is GMTM going to do to rectify the ship??? I think you have 3 guys locked in on D next year..Risto, McCabe, Guhle..maybe Fedun. I don't watch the minors or JR's, so rely on hockey sites, but none of them have any other prospect making an impact next year. Let's all hope GMTM does not compound his mistake on Kulikov and sign him to some ridiculous extension. I think he is going to have to ship a pretty big name to get something in return that can help next year on the backend. -

Weird game. First two Leafs goals are junk, but the game is filled with so many of those goals now, can't really call them lucky. I don't know how you get better for next year, but GMTM best find a way. I am an advocate for Kane going in a trade for a quality D, but who is going to want him? I then move to Sammy...only problem there is if we trade him not enough money going out the door...and we flat up agaisnt the cap. This is not pretty with GMTM....love the guys honesty, hate his results. -
sounds a lot better than the Viking line!

You want this scumbucket coaching your team? Friggen joke the NCAA, how they let chit like this go on. Things Our Wives Do That Drive Us Crazy!!

Mine is a bit of a flip on that My wife travels maybe 3 nights a month..so not a ton. But when she goes, she sits on the plane, gets bored, and starts texting "honey do's" like it is going out of style. Also, she just cannot get herself to put the butter away in the butter compartment of the fridge. I am fussy about my butter, only buy brands that come in foil now as to avoid picking up off flavours from the fridge.......is it really that hard to move your arm 2 feet to the left and open up that little door?/ -
Different strokes as they say...wife just did one of the Viking River cruises with her mom, and while did not hate it, would not do again. She just turned 50, one other couple was in their 40's, rest retirement age. us,. 1) Everything on shore was done as a group. Many times you exited the boat, j boarded directly on a coach, toured the countryside , visited a castle, had lunch somewhere, and then re boardied the ship at another town. All with the entire ship with you! 2) Dinner was 7, over by 8:30 or so...and all that was left to do was have a drink in the lounge with a piano player. That was my problem, especially the last couple of days LOL " I don't care if i don't want a beer..I paid for it, I am getting it!"

Went on my first cruise June of 2015. We did a Mediterranean cruise with Royal Caribean on the Oasis of the Seas. that ship is freaking huge..5,000 passengers! I thought it would suck and everything would be crowded on the ship...was just the opposite outside of the pools at 5.00PM . Enjoyed it the trip immensely, way more than I thought I would. I bought an unlimited drink package, and while i prolly booze more than the average joe, i did like knowing there was no surprise bill at the end of the trip. Guess the point i was trying to make is don't be scared off by the big ships.

Sous Vide - Virgin Journey Today! Advice?
plenzmd1 replied to plenzmd1's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Pork came out great. 4 1/2 pound rib roast. I brined it for about 18 hours, in fridge for about 3 hours to try and get as dry as possible, pre-seared , did some thyme and garlic in the pan for 30 seconds then into the bag as well. In the water for 3 hours at 145.Added Quick sear again when it came out. Served with a cherry portsaucee that does not require any fond etc. Excellent!!! Will say I think the brine was needed. -

Not saying good teams never lose...saying teams like the Chiefs that for the most part rely on the other team making mistakes instead of themselves making winning plays, for the most part, do not win a ton of playoff games. Pats have won a chit ton of playoff games Steelers would have blown the doors off the Chiefs if they make 3 plays.

Who fills these open QB spots
plenzmd1 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cleveland - Mitch T SF - Watson Bears - Romo (trade) Bills - Glennon Broncos -TT Texans - Savage -
Shottenheimer= Reid Teams that never beat themselves, rack up regular season wins not so much due to their teams play, but more due to not beating themselves But once matched up against good to very good teams who also don't beat themselves, without any lucky breaks, they struggle to win.

Sous Vide - Virgin Journey Today! Advice?
plenzmd1 replied to plenzmd1's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Okay folks, Kroger had rack of pork on sale today, so that is dinner tomorrow. Anyone have ideas? Not much on the web. I do have it brining now. Most things i see say only 2-3 hours at 142. I think I will sear first again, then sous vide, then re-sear when it comes out. I have a nice cheery-port sauce I make that I usually use with rack of pork, so will use that unless someone has a better idea..i am all ears! -
Lazy, unmotivated, big mouth players are in Big Trouble

What position coach were you on the Bills last 5 years? They both worked harder than Freedie, Kyle, Wood, Richie, Brown, Lorax etc???? You know this how? BTW, Chandler lasted one year, Pats have also picked up a bunch of ex-Bills they dump right quick.. Sheesh, what a ridiculous thread. Can't believe everyone calling out Clay. Do you people ever, and I mean ever, watch the all 22? Christ, do you ever watch anything but the ball carrier? Holy smokes, Clay helps lead the Bills to the league rushing title, is open 7 times for every 1 time TT would throw him the ball...but he is freaking lazy. Lazy are fans who look at stats for passing #s n a run dominated offence with a QB afraid to throw over the middle and calling a TD lazy. -

Yep, and get a breakout by zipcode and you will see a concentration of where low test scores lie. It ain't spread out like peanut butter, it's concentrated in low-income areas across this country. Those kids are not any smarter or any dumber than the rest of the country, they just don't have the same resources at their disposal. -

See, they sucked me in a for a minute...not again. This team, especially the backened, is just not good enough. I mentioned during the Tampa game Risto had another 10 minute period...i think these 30 minute nights stacked are starting to wear his ass out, and it shows on the ice. But what else can Disco do? Problem is, I don't see it getting any better next year outside of Guhle. Maybe someone can tell me of some gem D that I am not aware of, but i don't see anyone. However, looks like they are stacked at wing in terms of prospects....which leads me to Kane and or Foligno got to go for D , plain and simple. I would straight up go Kane for Fowler, but don't think Anaheim can do a money in/money out deal based on what i have read. i don't have other ideas as I don't know other teams needs, cap room etc...but GMTM got a mess on his hands back there, and he better get it fixed or we in for more of these years. And I know he is hurt, but Kulikov trade still looks awful...be sure nice to know you control Pysck for a few more years...how in the world can you resign Kulikov to any number
