  1. No sh--...my thoughts exactly! This smacks of Clayton just making something up. They say that this has been one of the hardest drafts in memory to predict. The 3 QBs are all wildcards, no one knows where DBrick is going and there was even doubt about the hottest prospect ever, Reggie Bush, going 1st. Buuuuuuut...somehow the Bears know that they guy they want will last to #40 or 41, but not 42. Get a new job Johnny.
  2. Bill Parcells told my friend Justin that he wanted to take him with his first of two 1st RD selections last year. He said he hoped he lasted to their second 1st rounder. Giants got him the 3rd. Coaches and GMs blow almost as much smoke up the players asses as the agents do.
  3. C'mon K...how can you be an irish fan and still be able to stomach Jackson? Good riddance!
  4. C'mon Joe...give Philly fans their credit when it is due. Not only did they boo Irvin when he was carted off the field, a selection of Philly's finest showed up at the HOSPITAL to boo him afterwards. City of Brotherly Love baby
  5. ...as to be in the Philly area, I will say that you will be missing the truely heart-warming experience that is listening to Philadelphia sports radio when a home team loses. It's like Christmas! Plus throw in Hitchcock's hissy fit....ahhhhhhh. It's gonna be great! For those of you in the Buffalo area (or elsewhere) I would say taking off work and driving a few hours to be within radio range would be worth it.
  6. Actually, now that I think about it...that would be the lesser of two evils. Much more likely: Bills on the clock: 2 PM Cut to Cowboys war room for no apparent reason: 2:01-2:04 2nd interview with Reggie Bush: 2:04-2:08 Analysis of previous pick: 2:08-2:12 Commercial: 2:12-2:14 Bills pick!: 2:15 Back to Cowboys war room: 2:16 Gotta love E$PN
  7. Draft: 12 PM Bills On the clock: 2 PM Longest commercial of the day: 1:59 PM
  8. Mo is not as slow as you think. He will not win many races but he has a big, smooth stride and can cover ground real quick. But overall, he will be a possession guy, yes.
  9. Stovall - I'd love to see him on the Bills. It's going to be a bit difficult though to justify a high pick for our 17th WR. That being said, if he makes it to our 3rd rd pick, I say go for it. He has loads of potential. Rashon - All I'll say about my man is that he only drinks whiskey. A hard nosed, badass, whiskey pounding fullback. My kinda guy. Plus he has a chip on his shoulder now. Weis fell in love with our freshman FB, but Rashon was the superior player. I'd scoop him up in a heartbeat. Fasano - I kind of agree with Ozy. The boy can play, but I just see him as another average to maybe above average prospect. I don't see what would separate him from the TEs we already have. Brady Quinn next year?.....don't tease me.
  10. I took that as he would forfeit the games he played, not USC. But just to be safe I am going to go ahead and add a victory to each of ND's 2003-2005 seasons.
  11. Oh no doubt. It was a travesty. He was thrown on the street by the NFL and then kicked in the teeth by NCAA. He should never have been removed from the draft. He entered under the (then) current rules. It was messed up...
  12. Yeah...I like where you're going with that. I considered it too briefly. I don't wish trouble on anyone but I have to say that it would warm my heart a little to have TWO Southern Cal players be locked out of the draft and then barred from returning to school (Bush and Mike Williams).
  13. I read it as it could make him ineligible to be a NCAA athlete. I think he could get into legal trouble (fines?), but I doubt it would have any bearing on his draft eligiblity. Would make things a bit interesting though...
  14. The football LeBron is coming to the Bend. Great news cause it's gonna be hard to replace Brady... JIMMY!
  15. The football LeBron is coming to the Bend.... God I wish Ty was still the coach Jimmy C
  16. 9. -How do you fit Roseanne into a size 2? -You take the 'T' out of 'FAT' and the 'F' out of 'WAY'.... oldie but a goodie...
  17. 61 High Mach 58 is low....61 is high Helluva middle ground....
  18. Awesome picture.... I have to say that the Colts one was the best though. Nothing like using that technology to take a picture of a giant seat cushion. Stunning.
  19. 10. A grandpa and grandson were fishing one day. The grandpa takes out a cigar and lights up. "Grandpa," asks the boy, "can I have some of your cigar?" The Grandpa replies "Can you touch your @sshole with your penis?" "No" says the boy. "Well" says Grandpa, "then you arent old enough yet". Later the grandfather takes a beer out of his cooler. "Grandpa," asks the boy, "can I have some of your beer?" Again the grandpa replies, "Can you touch your @sshole with your penis?" "No," says the boy. "Well" says grandpa, "then you arent old enough yet." Two hours later the boy is hungry and takes out a bag of cookies. Grandpa looks at the cookies and says, "boy those cookies look so good, can I have some?" The boy asks "can you touch your @sshole with your penis?" "I certainly can!" boasts the grandpa. The boy replies "Well then go f*ck yourself, these are MY cookies!"
  20. I would like to thank you all for your detailed and comprehensive analyses of that wonderful 4th and 9 play. I got a great view from the stadium but hearing everyone talk about it again just warms my heart. No, really.
  21. It's a weeeeaaaaakk draft man. I dont know how strong 07 is, but its probably not a bad idea for anyone who is thinking about it to go ahead and test the waters. That being said, you definitely are correct. He is not ready.
  22. Make that two Irish homer votes for Mo. Completely changed his game this year....salvaged what would have been a very disapointing college career and turned it into a very promising future.
  23. You know, E, I felt the exact same way when I first heard about the trade. Eric was one of my all-time favorites for many reasons, and I guess I felt betrayed. No one likes to hear or accept the fact that someone they like prefers someone else (or someone else's team as the case may be). But I've come to accept it. Try not tot think about it as a football team, but as a job. Imagine Eric Moulds is not a wide receiver, but a regular worker at a company that has seen much turmoil and disapointment in his 10 years with them. Imagine every time he has started to get comfortable, his boss gets fired or his co-workers get transfered. Imagine he has had 9 different supervisors in 10 years ranging from pathetically imcompetent to basically mediocre. Imagine he doesn't get along with his current supervisor, no one who was there when he was hired still remains and the company has just come under new management and the future is very uncertain. And finally he has had some new job offers that at the very least provide a lateral move. Now, imagine that was you. Sometimes its just time for a change....my two cents anyway.
