  1. Well I don't make it over to PPP as much I would like ....but BushBad would have been a good one. I knew I'd forget a bunch.
  2. Something else to think about on a Tuesday morning unless there is something more to say about Zidane's head butt... I have to say I'm torn between Hot Pockets and "but...but...but." Both are semi-clever phrases that were kind of funny the first few times someone posted. But I throw up a little bit in my mouth everytime I see someone still using either trying to be funny. Probably time to let go. I think the most voted for phrase should be turned into a filter like a curse word so we never have to see it again.
  3. I remember that year, what a terrible start for him. Barry was crazy like that though. He was such a gambler that he would have games where he would have like 15 carries for 21 yds. Then all of a sudden here comes a 12 yarder, then a 28, then a 75...and BOOM....he has like 130 yds and a sweet average. It was like that in the last game of the year when he was going for 2000 vs. the Jets. It looked all game long like the Jets were gonna shut him down. Then he got one sweet run where he juked 3 or 4 defenders....then another...and then the flood gates opened. What a monster he was...as much as I hate Dallas, I would have loved to see him and Emmitt trade places. Just imagine what he would have done with their O-line (or Denver's.... )
  4. Did that thread get deleted?
  5. He is such a dumbass. Watching Isaiah continually out-do himself with terrible organizational moves is something I will cherish forever. It never gets old. Unfortunately, Dolan has given him a 1 year lease on the Knicks. So this comedy may finally be coming to an end...
  6. If they go undefeated, they will...I agree that they will be on much shakier ground than a real conference team, but it is a definite possibility. That being said, I think WVU loses to UL or has some early season upset. I think they hit a peak at the end of last season and it will be very tough to maintain that momentum through the summer.
  7. Just to further what others have mentioned, you seem to have picked the absolute wrong times to make these comments. 1.) Lindell was a very good kicker last year. 2.) Look, I'm pretty interested in my man Gates as well....but I am really starting to wonder where this collective TBD hard-on for our Louisville man is coming from? What has he possibly shown you that leads you to believe he is even good enough to be a #2 RB (let alone unseat one of the more talented RBs in the league)?? Sometimes I feel that fans get attached to certain players really without cause. I would love to see more of Gates on the field, but he has a long way to go before he is starting over a repeat 1100+ yd RB. Furthermore, what makes you think he is "proud" to be on the Bills? Showing up to a few OTAs is great, but I have no reason not to believe he is just in it for a paycheck. 3.) Jerry Sullivan is a cranky, annoying bastige....but what is strange about your post is that he has actually written maybe his ONLY two positive Bills articles of the decade in the last month or so. You have some weird timing my friend.
  8. I'll probably tune in. Good sports is good sports, man. Game 7 of anything is okay in my book....whether or not I am an avid fan of the sport or teams involved doesn't really matter.
  9. Is it just me, or do you tend to disappear for extended periods of time, only to resurface, sh-- on someone and then disappear again? Cranky bastige...
  10. That sh-- was hilarious and that ugly, thieving B word deserves what she gets....
  11. Good....I like the direction the team is going. Things were a lot better when the Bills had more ND players on the roster anyway. Funny how things start to turn to sh-- when we instead actively pursued U players. Glad to see we are back on the right track. About Courtney, he was there for 3 years while I was there. He was a bad MF for two of those (especially during Ty's first year as was noted before). He was a Butkus finalist and entered his senior year as a frontrunner for the award. But he turned into a bit of a B word that year and as the team generally fell apart, his play sucked more and more. I will always remember (unfortunately) watching ND get the sh-- kicked out of then at the Big House in 03. On one of the last drives (in the endzone I was sitting at) Michigan went for it on 4th and goal and gave it to Perry for an off tackle run. Watson was the only one between him and the goal...a Linebackers dream. I stood up in my seat waiting for Courtney to level his ass in hopes that I could take one good memory from that disaster home with me. Instead, he tried to arm tackle him like a girl and Perry walked into the endzone. So I am sorry that this is not a ringing endorsement, but I guess that play always sticks in my mind as a general microcosm of his failure to live up to his expectations at the end. That being said, I have seen what he can do when he is playing well...and he is a bad dude. And he is definitely not a low character guy...at all. He has made a few mistakes, but I would never throw him in that category. I think maybe a change of scenary could be exactly what he needs to get back on track.
  12. I'm getting sick of this sh--...first the hooters chick you were supposed to get pictures of and now another hot chick description with no pic??
  13. Wow. I never thought anyone could try to make dunking sound not fun. Wow.
  14. I wouldn't worry...Anyone who is stupid enough to take any of his post seriously will undoubtedly have bigger problems in life than skipping a flu shot. Like wandering into traffic. Or setting their house on fire while cooking noodles and pickle juice...
  15. You think Michigan is going go into South Bend and Columbus and come out any better than 0-2? And Hart has a line of Heisman candidates (headed by Quinn) to get through if he wants it. I think my boys have a good a shot as anyone. But there are plenty of hurdles in our way. Going into East Lansing and LA against two very good teams is going to test what kind of team we are. But it is going to be a serious dogfight at the top this year. So many good teams. I wouldn't bet against a re-match of last years Fiesta Bowl for the NATL Title though.
  16. I didn't always agree with the things he said and some of his off-topic stuff would have me very confused. But when he was being serious, there was not a single time that I can recall that every sentence he typed wasn't well thought out and completely genuine. He had a quality that made his words memorable and while some serious skimming seems to be a requisite when trying to read this board, his posts were ones I never skipped. You tend to pay attention to a person like that. I know I did. RIP
  17. Ah yes that Wonderful Pittsburgh game....I keep a special place in my heart for the classy middle-aged Steeler fan who told me (a 12 year old at the time) to "Get the fvck out of here" as he waved his gay yellow towel in my face. What a great day. But as for your list, very nicely done. I would add the Just give it to them game, because of its eventual ramifications.
  18. I don't see why this is an issue. I'm pretty sure the rules state that for a player to be criticized (and in some extreme cases, demonized) for missing OTAs, he has to meet four(4) of the following five(5) criteria: a). Under 25 years old b). Black c). From a Florida school ending in "IAMI" d). Sound retarded on interviews e). Hate baby mommas Looks like CV meets zero(O) of these.* Guess he is off the hook. *pending an investigation determining his feelings toward baby mommas
  19. Did you just make a beer goggle reference to Rod Brind'Amour? Dude, no. Do any hockey players become better looking to you after 6 beers?
  20. I think that stuff is cool. It's like that high school in California, De LaSalle, that hadn't lost a football game in like 9 years. I mean kids who were part of that streak were in kindergarten when it started. Or conversely, can you imagine having an undefeated senior season and then not having your school lose another game until you were almost 30? Those streaks are crazy.
