If we walked into Indy and beat the Colts in the exact same fashion that the Jets beat us today, I would definitely say the Bills have a decent team. People would be raving about our pass rush and killer defense that won the game for us. And for our grit in hanging in after a tough 1st quarter and overcoming a 300+ passing and 150+ rushing effort against us.

You are taking an entirely one-sided view. Your entire argument can be spun the other direction...like this: They executed two effective CB blitzes, forced two fumbles and returned one for a TD. They shredded our defense during a decisive 4th quarter do-or-die drive. They beat us with short gains and big plays (like the Leon Washington catch). Their defense shut us down when it mattered most in a goal line stand in the 4th quarter. Now, I'm not saying all of this is completely true, but to disregard the Jets' ablities and chalk this loss up to our Bills just making too many mistakes is short-sighted IMO.

Correct. Plus we aren't as good as it appeared last week because it is becoming more and more clear how little of a "quality" win the Dolphins game was.

I was at a wedding and I missed the WHOLE !@#$ING GAME!!!! I got in the car at 11:30 and checked the score on my phone....37-21 4th Q. I shook my head and waited to read about the shitshow when I got home. Surprise surprise... As excited as I am that we won, I can't believe I missed a game like this....they only come around for your team once in a blue moon (if ever).

I don't get worked up either....that's why I said "it is what it is." I think the overall quality of sports reporting and broadcasting is pretty weak, but I don't need any "expert" to validate my opinion. I know enough about the teams I follow and sports in general to shrug off someone else's view if I don't agree. Pointing out the ways guys like Clayton et al. suck can be funny, but to actually get upset about their "expert opinion" is a waste of time.

I mean, this is what these guys do...they look at the boxscore, catch the highlights or if they are feeling especially adventurous, they watch part of the game. They then state their claims on what limited first hand knowledge they actually bothered to obtain. It's sad. King sees: R. Denney 4-0-3 and therefore decides that he is our best defender. I'm just playing around. I actually never thought Brady was big-time NFL material, but I was convinced last year when he just started blowing up. I figured he had taken the next step. I still think that, but he does have his flaws. He'll make it in the NFL, but I also hope that the Bills aren't in a position to draft him...I like JP just fine. But "the hype coming from having a catchy QB name" is a bit of a stretch.
