  1. dammit. touche.... btw - I dig the new name, but i think this would be a more appropriate avatar: The one and only
  2. I can't definitively say that you're wrong, but using Randy Moss to exemplify the heart of an entire team isn't very fair. That's like saying the Cowboys are emotionally unstable because of TO.
  3. Actually, what I meant was this trend of complaining and swearing off this team has become routine. Every year there is no less than 5 people here who "just can't take it anymore." But there are always a few wrinkles that keep it fresh. Like usually the soon-to-be ex-Fan talks about another NFL team that is better in every way. Now thankfully we have our very own Sabres to be used as a vehicle to rail on the Bills. Always entertaining...
  4. So players all get individual records now too? Is Lee Evans 4-2? What about the Dolphins game that we won but he only had 2 catches...does that count as a loss even though the team won?
  5. If that was your point, then there was probably a better way to say it than Matt Leinart is actually 2-0.
  6. I'm sure he can jump kick his way out of this one...
  7. That's an excellent point. It got me to thinking about Jeff George and the 1997 Raiders. Sadly, the team went 4-12 that year but upon futher review of Jeff's stats: 290-521 55.7% 3917 yds. 7.52 avg. 29 TDs 9 INTs 91.2 Rating ...I have decided to award him a 13-3 record. I will be calling the NFL later today to ask about having his official records changed. Additionally, the same year Napoleon Kaufman ran for 1300 yds. so he gets 11-5 and Tim Brown caught 104 passes for 1400 yds. so he gets 15-1.
  8. Bash? I'm over that....but it is sad and entertaining to see people explode when the Bills lose and then be kind enough to document their breakdowns on this board. Something about the Bills brings out people's inner-retard around here. And the amount irrational and hyperbolic "vents" when they lose are mind-numbing. We were fine when we were 2-2 but now every player and coach is worthless and should be replaced? Great, makes a lot of sense. Telling us all that you can no longer stand to be a fan? Great, thanks for sharing. Later....
  9. Nice work....they deserve that Top 25 ranking.
  10. Poor dude...been carrying OU on his back the whole season. Plus this is the first time his dad has gotten to see him play. Terrible. He had the talent to make a multiple run at the Heisman....probably will never get it now.
  11. Not that they mean a whole lot, but I always liked checking them out to keep tabs on the rest of the NHL since I don't follow it too closely. But when I look for them now, it just gives a blank page on ESPN. Did they realize that they would have to put a Buffalo team at #1 and decide to just scrap it instead?
  12. Jesus, this is one of the first times I can remember him going away! Why the hell would you call him back? Actually now that I think about it, there is a good reason to ever want him back....but only one thing comes to mind. C'mon Joe....
  13. Brilliant! Advice noted. It was either him or an injured Donald Driver who didn't practice on friday.
  14. Smarty Jones AND Barbaro were both raised within 20 minutes of my house. Smarty Jones was actually from my township but Philadelphia selfishly "adopted" him because that city desparately needed lach on to a winner (and drag him down). Barbaro was(is) being treated in that big animal hospital not 15 minutes from me. I also loved that horse that raced against Smarty Jones that year that was like twice his size. Beautiful horse...largest I've ever seen racing...Lion Heart maybe?
  15. 1). Notre Dame Stadium...but I'm biased. 2). The Ralph (just because I rarely make it up there). 3). Lincoln Financial Field (Eagles) and Citzens Bank Park (Phillies)...seriously people should make it down to BOTH of these stadiums if they ever get a chance. They're both brand new and state of the art. The Linc is like an updated M&T Bank Stadium (Ravens) which is also very nice. I don't even like baseball that much and I could care less about the Phillies...but somehow Citzens Park just makes it enjoyable. 4). With regards to your Churchill Downs play, I'd say that I prefer Pimlico (where they have the Preakness) in Baltimore. But I think when I'm older I would like to make it back to the Derby and sit in some nice seats. 5). Although it made me sick to my stomach, The Big House (Michigan) is pretty fking awesome. On my list to see: 1). Penn St. 2). Tennessee (had the chance when ND played them but I blew it). 3). Yankee Stadium 4). The Seahawks Stadium..whatever its called is looks pretty tight. 5). The Hawaii Stadium that they play the Probowl in.
  16. Add me to the Shockey list...Do something Jeremy besides complain!
  17. In my league, catches are 1 pt....so Bush is really valuable. He's only going to get better too. I'm gonna go against the grain here and say stick with Reggie. Even if you don't get catches, I'd still keep him. It's not like Willis has shown a nose for the endzone this year....and Bush will improve as the year goes on I believe. Also look at total yards and TDs...not that much of a difference. Willis: 491 (439 Rush + 52 Rec.) + 1TD Bush: 420 (170 Rush + 250 Rec.) + 1TD Plus, Reggie is finally healthy (ankle) and is always a HR threat (on runs, catches AND punt returns).
  18. That's a possibility, but I recall JP-Era loved Donahoe. Of Course 4everBills wasn't one to stick to an opinion so that very well might have been. Sadly, they are both gone.
  19. Since we are playing the mightly Lions this Sunday, I got to thinking how our 2nd favorite team-swapping bandwagoner was doing (don't worry T-Bone, you're still comfortably in 1st). For those of you who have been around for a couple years, you might remember 4everBills. I remember him for three very special reasons. 1. His tragic design ideas for a new Bills helmet. 2. His ICE-like inconsistency in his posts that put the current "tards" here to shame. 3. And finally, his cry that the Bills were no longer worthy of his support, his plea to be convinced to remain loyal and his claim that his new team, the Detroit Lions, were the embodiment of an NFL franchise on the rise. Sadly, our troubled friend was last active almost a year and a half ago. I can only hope he still reads the board and decides to come back to entertain us. To his credit, his major beef was with Donahoe and he claimed he would "come back to us" when he was fired. Here's to hope! So without further ado, I give you his genius: Lions v. Bills - A tale of two teams Convince me to Stay My Lions have winning ways But I urge you all to enjoy all of his thoughts: The Remnants of his Wonder... We miss you buddy! GO LIONS!!!
  20. Stopping the run and stopping the TRIPLE OPTION are two completely different things. Running the triple option is like playing B-Ball with 5 guards. It's very difficult to gameplan for and it will cause Rutgers fits. This game will test if Rutgers is legit...
  21. SportsInteraction...sponsored by Jim Kelly. It's where I get my fix. Of course if you are serious about laying money on Rutgers at Navy, then this is probably a safer place to put your money...
